Content d'avoir lancé un micro débat en parlant du partie pirate. La technique est assez bonne mais je trouve l'idée de générer autant d'adresse de réception que de votants assez énorme. En petite structure, pourquoi pas, en grosse structure, ça serait énorme. "Après les votes, pour le dépouillement, le candidat Dupont transfère simplement les bitcoins de l’adresse V vers l’adresse 1Dupont.." Donc Dupont sait quand même, avec un simple "getbalance" combien il a de votes en temps réel (bon, lui seul, mais ça reste : on sait le résultat avant). L'article est tout de même génial C'est une très bonne remarque: la recommandation doit être de n'envoyer son vote que le jour du scrutin et pas avant. Le candidat peut en effet savoir en temps réel où il en est et essayer d'influencer les indécis. A cet égard, sur ce point particulier, la situation ne serait pas pire qu'avec le vote traditionnel où des sondages sont faits le jour du vote mais ne peuvent être publiés qu'après la clôture. En réalité, il y a des fuites et les partis les plus puissants connaissent les résultats avant le dépouillement. En synthèse, le schéma de vote électronique que je propose n'est pas parfait mais il est simplement plus performant que le vote traditionnel sur à peu près tous les critères (me semble t il) et il est gratuit ! Oui, je verrais bien un équivalent en "simplifié", un "daemon" codé sans "getbalance" (bon ça pourrait se frauder on est d'accord), 100% préminé, et on file les coins aux votants (équivalent d'une carte de vote par exemple), qu'on vient retirer en mairie, ou un paper wallet sur notre feuille d'imposition. Ce que je n'aime pas dans ce cas, restera qu'on peut savoir "qui" a voté pour qui, (le paper wallet, ou la mairie, a une trace du coin donné). Dans un système "parfait" (sans possible dérive totalitaire): une seule wallet, mais avec autant d'addresse de réception que de candidat, géré par un organisme central et indépendant (ou alors un "conglomérat de tous les candidats") vois les votes arriver (pas par addresse, mais un getbalance "total" (donc on peut estimer en temps réel le nombre de votant)). Le 100% préminage permettrait d'avoir une blockchain qui ne fait pas 500G (j'exagère) à DL (problème du bitcoin pour l'utiliser dans un cas de vote). Mais j'avoue toutefois que cette technique me semble parfaite en de nombreux points... Bon, moi, depuis la Hongrie j'ai le choix entre vote électronique à partir de midi jusqu'au 20 mai, ou papier le 25 mai (européenne), j'irais au papier par principe :p |

Le parti pirate me semble être le seul en mesure d'aider un minimum.
Ils fonctionnent pas mal dans les pays nordiques, mais en france, on en est loin...

Yeah, if the wallet is auto-combining that is definitely news to me. I was leaving it be but then everyone keeps claiming that combining into bigger chunks produces a bigger return over time so I just combined all my small pieces (anything under like 25hbn) together to see if I stake better.
I calculated returns based on small and big block scenarios. Big blocks have a slight advantage but that assumes you combine blocks right after stake... So might have a disadvantage if you calculate lost age. The more I lists. To Tranz the more I think everyone should aim to have small blocks that are up for stake. The more blocks you have with weight the safer hbn will be against attacks. For me, who is PoW mining, and I think you're too presstab, I think the "small block" are bad for the PoW mining, because it makes the diff go to the moon. We still have the 30s block, and after a lot of small blocks, the PoS blocks are appearing every "seconds", so it makes the diff goes really high. I was thinking about this, like launching a "coin control combining blocks" campaign, to "motivate" HBN users to combine their small blocks. So for me, as a PoW miner, I think "bigger" blocks give more return because the diff will increase "less" fast. |

I asked Hash Cows about it I'll let you know if they respond favorably. They just added zeit and some other coin so now that's 3 they allow payout in, can't see why adding HBN would be a problem.
For me it may be the volume, if you want to buy a "lot" of HBN "right now", there is not that much offer to do so... |

The more I think of it, what has been done in FairCoin is an address swapping mechanism, they use http://wafflepool.com/ (witch pays in BTC). So if you swap the HBN address for a BTC address and use wafflepool's infrastructure, then when the amount of BTC is big enough, you buy HBN and then distribute it back to the matching HBN address. I think it's brilliant and could be done fairly quickly. at least it could be a start. That's the system the Zeitcoin devs implemented yesterday. The price has since doubled. Though to be fair, it did double from extremely low levels. It seems to be a good system to create demand. I don't know how it's going to play out for HBN, but it is extremely hard to mine this coin, so this could help people that want to mine their way in at much bigger scale since the supply comes from the market. Plus it's could create a nicer liquidity those PoS block looking to be sold. (Sorry unick, I didn't understood your PM, but now I get it) So for me the trouble of this kind of multipool, with payout in HBN, is the fact there is not that much "offer" in the "selling" part. From MY point of view, I'm also a bit afraid with the responsability. Let's say we have generated 1 BTC. And I have to change them for HBN, at the current price (0.00032099), it's around 3000 HBN. But there is no one selling that amount before 0.00037201. So it's a big "price" responsability to do it, and I don't really like it. Other way to see it, there will be more people selling their HBN, so maybe more SELL orders... Currently, I'm putting my crapy miners (dedicated servers ~10Kh :p) on hashco.ws who allow me to get paid in MINT. It's not much, but it's still some staking coins. For me the big trouble will still be the "buy some HBN from BTC (or any other currency)". But unick, if you want to try something with me, why not. You have an awesome hashrate, so maybe we can start some tries with a new pool just the two of us to see what we can mine (I can bring also some friends to start it and see how it works) |

Avoir miné 2 blocks de DOGE en solo au lancement (avant que ça sorte à droite à gauche). 0.5 BTC pour 2h de minage (avec 2000Kh).
Bon, par contre je les avais vendu "dès le départ" que c'était arrivé sur un échange. J'aurais attendu un peu plus, ça aurait été jackpot. Au taux actuel assez pourri, ça aurait fait 1.5 BTC.
J'avias aussi miné des ptites monnaies inconnues minables solo car diff très petites. Ca a fait une petite plus value aussi sympa.
Pour le netcoin, j'avais aperçu que le reward allait être /2, j'en avais miné un grand nombre avec une difficulté de 0.5. J'avais mis en vente à 3 fois le prix actuel du minage, c'est parti aussitôt le reward /2...
Bref, quelques bons coups, par contre pour le DOGE par exemple, j'ai stocké pour le reward qui allait être divisé par 2... Mais j'étais pas le seul je pense :p

time per block now 2 min 15s and hashrate dropped to 195 mh/s
From looking at the chain it looks like a bunch of PoS blocks are being generated. Some only ten seconds apart. My guess is that there is a large amount trying to stake right now so it is crowding out PoW. do you know how long this will continue for? According to my munin graph, it's ending from what I understand, so it should be going down and down https://s.gks.gs/img/img/02-2014/bitcoin_difficulty_week_1_.pngIt started at 10 (GMT+1) this morning, and "finished" around 17. So I will guess around midnight it should be normal. A lot of miners seems to have left, so the diff should be even lower than before. |

According to the pools blocks are coming every 85 seconds (should be 30 seconds). So IMHO diff is wrong.

Me, and others pools are using the getmininginfo return, who says
"netmhashps" : 293.35217118,
I think it's more a display error.
I'm running several HBN daemons, and they all says the same hash.
I think getmininginfo should be the correct way to get the network hash rate. All pools (plus my client) are showing the same rate, except theblocksfactory. My theory is if the nethash is RIGHT, the diff is WRONG. And according to what I see, the last minutes, blocks are coming more frequently than every 30s, so I think the nethash is WRONG |

Bon bin la je vois pas en quoi ça protège du spam, bien au contraire, suffit de modifier l'algo du bot/spam pour générer plusieurs petites transactions plutôt qu'une grosse, ça fera encore plus de boulot pour les mineurs  PS: Je viens de créer une transaction de 1.143Ko, sans frais, à destination de 29 adresses, à nouveau c'est passé tout droit, et c'est même confirmé ... http://blockexplorer.com/testnet/tx/698a2110188d84674e848ccd8f6d4f12b3fa1ee944398564d04832b5032a4c5c(peut être pas assez grosse pour exiger les frais ?) 1Ko c'est petit. Mais tu as aussi l'age du block qui compte, si ton block est vieux, c'est "gratuit" ou peu cher. |

Perl résume très bien.
Monter un pool est assez simple, mais il faut avoir l'habitude.
Perso, je monte généralement des pools pour "agréger" mes mineurs simplement pour miner solo. Dans ce cas je n'ai pas besoin de MPOS.
Outre la sécu qui est assez galère, c'est surtout le stratum pool en lui même qui demande pas mal de gestion.
Après tu as la partie "pub" à faire, perso, c'est pour ça que je fais surtout des pools "pour moi", mais si les gens veulent venir, tant mieux. Et généralement je ramène des potes.
Avec MPOS c'est "simple", mais sinon, si tu n'es pas en vardiff, c'est "nombre de share / durée / nombre_de_coin"...
Bref, ça demande pas mal de tests sur des coins à faible diff pour voir si ça fonctionne, mais après ça peut tourner.

To create a DNS based seed (I'm not sure about the words) you need to have a domain name, and after create a subdomain. This subdomain will have some A record pointing to IPs address running HBN daemon. For example seed.domain IN A IP.HBN.1 seed.domain IN A IP.HBN.2 etc... you can add some AAAA fields if the daemon have IP connectivity. It's not complicated. For me, I'm running 3 HBN daemon, on 3 differents servers. host -t A seed.scrypt.io
seed.scrypt.io has address 5.39.90.17
seed.scrypt.io has address 91.121.177.181
seed.scrypt.io has address 176.31.250.94 and : seed.scrypt.io has IPv6 address 2001:41d0:8:b5e::1
seed.scrypt.io has IPv6 address 2001:41d0:8:9c11::1
seed.scrypt.io has IPv6 address 2001:41d0:1:f2b5::1 If you are running on static IP the daemon, you can give me the IP and I can add it to my "seednode", but if you're running multiple daemon on multiple dedicated servers, you can create your own seednode. |

irc.rizon.net has now banned 'bitcoin' clients. I will be removing the irc code in version 1.4. It will be replaced by seed nodes.
In the mean time you can stop using irc by starting with switch -irc=0. If you need a node to connect to please PM or ask.
If you have the know how and desire to run a seed node, please let me know. I will pay a nice bounty for it, but you have to get it up.

I contacted you, not sure about the seednode, how it works, and how I can allow it, but if it's the same as the "addnode" strategy, this should work. Also, changing the IRCd server can be nice. I'm running arround 20 differents coins, and I'm always blacklisted by this irc.rizon.net because of too many connexion by one IP address. |

Pour ma part, temp target à 80. Overclock un peu, j'arrive à 750 sur ma DC2, 760 sur ma DC2T Voilà les paramètres que j'utilise : --worksize 256 --shaders 1048 \

--expiry 1 --scan-time 1 --queue 0 --intensity 13 --lookup-gap 2 tu as essayer de l'underclokc ? tu gagnes 5 C° c'est pas negligeable et tu tournes a 740 HR et conso baissé de 15% Justement, c'est l'hiver, donc ça me dérange pas que ça chauffe -5 à -10 en hongrie, et toujours pas allumé mon chauffage |
