1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does Signature campaign increase ICO credibility? I see few good ICOs recently on: December 01, 2021, 11:53:21 PM
I guess it helps on promoting ICOs or IDOs. Because campaign manager won’t use signature campaign if it doesn’t help the project to increase or attract more investors. Though, social media platforms where the most common tools in promoting a project because it connects to people easily. Since social media were already part of people’s daily lives.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The altcoin market has become scammer's playground on: December 01, 2021, 11:42:06 PM
It will always be a scammer’s playground as the crypto community hasn’t yet regulated. So management can easily go away with investors’ money if they wanted to. What we can do about this to mitigate the risk of getting scammed is to know the project deeply before investing. If you plan on investing for a long term, make sure the team is solid and transparent on their identity.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think it is safe to buy coins that are only listed on one small exchange? on: December 01, 2021, 11:28:48 PM
I want to start investing in early projects, and I want to ask if you buy coins on small exchanges? Is it safe? And to what extent are such exchanges protected from hacker attacks?

I am interested in such coins as nwc, cdt and mana, what do you think of these projects? Should you buy these coins?

I also invest in small exchanges but in a minimal amount as I think it is prone to hack since it is still on its early stage. Though there is a risk associated in big exchanges as well. But for those early projects, I think they were first listed on decentralized exchange, where the risk of hack is less compared to centralized exchanges.

There is always risk of being hacked. What I can suggest is, always put extra careful on websites you are visiting. Because unsecured links mostly contains viruses and other internet attacks to hack your assets.
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reason why businesses should accept Bitcoin payment on: December 01, 2021, 11:00:19 PM
Haven't spent some hours thinking about the advantage that is associated with Bitcoin in company ecosystems, new start-ups that are located in crypto-friendly countries are now diving into Bitcoin as payment against the regular faint traditional currencies, after administering questionnaires to some of the business CEOs stated the reason to be the anonymous nature and its intrinsic value. That is to say, Bitcoin is a business within a business because of its decentralized nature and volatile market.
So the company gain in two ways for accepting bitcoin for payments and if the price of bitcoin goes upward interest are generated also.

It gets your business noticeable to the people if you publicly announced that your business is accepting Bitcoin as payment. Because accepting Bitcoin today is not yet normalized so it makes your business unique as some point.

On the other side, it is advantageous with Bitcoin as it introduces to some people who doesn’t know. When people noticed and people keeps buying, it maintains the Bitcoin price.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: December 01, 2021, 10:47:30 PM
So I keep hearing HODL, HODL, keep holding and all that. My simple question to everyone is "when is actually the right time to sell Bitcoin or we don't ever sell it"?

How then do we say we have made money from it if we don't sell?

It really depends on you when you are going to sell your Bitcoin. If you have bought during 2018, I can tell you that you really made a profit because Bitcoin back then was below 10,000 USD.

In any way, gain is gain. Whether big or small. But I suggest to hold still as Bitcoin will still beat its All-time-high 69,000 USD by the end of this bull run.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where do you trade your crypto on: November 30, 2021, 11:24:46 PM
I trade mostly on centralized exchange, like Binance and Kucoin. Because these were my most favorite coins were listed. And these two are one of the trusted exchanges. But I do also trade in DEX (decentralized exchange), it is safer that CEX. Though it is more convenient to use CEX because you can buy directly on other users using P2P transaction, then you can sell it directly as well.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 30, 2021, 06:14:50 AM
I totally agree. We have to be careful with all the intensive promotion as sometimes it may be too good to be true and we end up on the losing side. There are really projects that have potential in the future yet, in the end, it is just a big joke. Especially now, huge money is flowing in the crypto world and scammers are everywhere. So we have to be careful about where we are going to put our hard-earned money. Though, we can just go with the flow and make money on the hype. Anyhow, the very important is we make a profit whether that project is just a meme or with a use case in the future.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should we buy tokens for young projects? on: November 30, 2021, 02:47:06 AM
I believe there are advantages and disadvantages to investing in a project at an early stage. One of the advantages would be, you can buy the coin at a cheap price if you believe that this project will prosper and grow over the years. Buying at an early stage and cheap price is really a smart decision. On the other hand, buying at an early stage might be a disadvantage too as this will give you a higher risk since the management might run away after getting the early investors' funds.

So it all depends on how your research went through and of course, it depends also on your instinct as well.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of SHIBA Inu, is this the end of the Road? on: November 25, 2021, 03:08:31 AM
It is normal that the price goes down. Just like Bitcoin. No coin that goes up always. Prices go up and down. We cannot compare Technical Analysis to Fundamental Analysis. I think Shib is undergoing a correction and we know when the price reached the bottom, the price will only go in one direction, which is up. I believe if Shib will have no use case in the future, I think this coin will just remain for a pump and dump scenario, not for a long-term hold.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you invest in new projects? on: November 23, 2021, 11:53:21 PM
Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I want to invest in a promising project called CheckDot. Their token sale starts this weekend and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.

Share your thoughts on such an investment. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.

Recently, I have been looking for new NFT games that will come in to the market. We all know the hype of the P2E games these days. So I believe, there is nothing wrong in investing to new projects. Of course, you have to be careful and should done a thorough research about the management and the project before putting your hard-earned money.
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They will try to stop Bitcoin on: November 23, 2021, 11:10:25 PM
I think this is just their way to manipulate the price. I think and I know that cryptocurrency will now be part of our life on way or another. I know the government knew that. Especially, Facebook will now change its name to Metaverse. Many companies will follow.
12  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many bitcoins are needed to buy a house in your country? on: November 23, 2021, 04:27:54 PM
I haven’t found yet here in our place that accepts Bitcoin as payment to buy a house. I am looking forward to that. I’ve been imagining having Bitcoin as one of the regular payment accepted here in our country. I think that will be a big leap as our country is not that leading when it comes to technology.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: November 23, 2021, 10:21:46 AM
If you are going to invest for long-term, either Bitcoin or Altcoins, you have to make sure that the project has a solid plan on their roadmap and have a good community. Having a good community gives you an idea that the project is a good one. Yes, it is reasonable to invest long term in Altcoins because it gives you a passive income that you can harvest in the future.

But, always do your own research as crypto world is very risky and we know there are a lot of projects out there that are just a rug and pull token.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Alt Coins to buy with 200$ on: November 22, 2021, 05:27:56 PM
Please guys help me suggest coins to buy. I’m a student and I don’t really know much about crypto but I need the money for financial freedom and help my dad cover some of my school costs. Please guys.

You should be the one to do your own research, people are going to shill their coins they are promoting and coins they are bag holders, do your own research it's not really complicated by doing your own research you'll learn what coins to look and how to look then for long term profit and what coins are created for pump and dum and will not last.

I think it is okay to look into those coins that were suggested by other people. But of course, do not just jump in and buy that coin. You have to study and research on them. Spend time on knowing the people behind that coin/token. You have to analyze their project and think if this will have a potential in the future. Look if their community is growing and not just compose of dummy accounts joining. Remember, that is your hard earned money you are investing. Do not just listen and follow, do your own research.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the best ways to invest money? on: November 22, 2021, 05:00:29 PM
I would say, my goal would be to earn $1,000,000 by the end of 2022. And to achieve that is not easy and would take a lot of energy, time and money. But it is achievable in the world of crypto. Power of investing where money works for you. Just take time to hunt hidden gems that low in value and have potential to grow in the future. And that's exactly should I am doing now as there are a lot of good project right now that were up in the market. We just have to be patient in looking for them and study them.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Making money while gaming on: November 22, 2021, 01:37:43 PM
It is nice that our addiction in games will give us earnings while playing. In the past, Big companies and developers are making tons of money because of us, gamers. Now, players and developers are both making money in games. P2E games are now becoming popular as this gives people a chance to earn while enjoying the game.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is good. It’s hard to persuade parents to invest in it. on: November 22, 2021, 07:51:52 AM
Crypto is not popular in my homeland. People in my homeland love to invest stocks and bonds. And real estate is the most popular investment. Only few people invest in crypto. My dad loves to invest in stocks but he seldom has a positive net income from the stock market. It’s the fact that crypto is a better tool to earn money, especially for the Altcoin. Then., I try to persuade my dad to invest in Eth and BNB. They’re worth to invest. Take myself as a good example, I spent the weekly pocket money on my first Eth two years ago and earn more than 10X of money. It seems that Eth is still going up in the future. It’s a good investment during this economic recession period. I tried my very best to persuade my dad to buy Altcoin like Eth and BNB but he thought that crypto was very risky and unreliable at all. Investing in crypto is the best way to earn money in this economic recession. It means that my family loses the chance to become rich since my dad does not invest in crypto.
It’s hard to persuade those middle-aged people to invest in crypto. Do you think so?

We are both in the same situation. Though here in our country, people now are recognizing cryptocurrency. Yet they are very eager and aggressive to learn and invest. Though my family are not yet convinced and they thought it was all scam because they think it is too good to be true. During desperate times, because of this pandemic, our family struggles in our everyday living. And the only thing that I think that will help us to earn big is to invest in crypto. But they are very hesitant. Anyway, it's their money, their life.

19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk and Jack Dorsey agree to talk about bitcoin at an event in July on: July 24, 2021, 04:11:45 PM
Many people do not care about Elon Musk already because how he impacted Bitcoin prices that affected and loses billions of dollars in trading. I understand the frustration. But then, I believe we can take an advantage on riding the prices whenever what Elon Musk is talking about in his twitter. Maybe we can just go with the flow and take profit.  Grin
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will everyone still believe in Elon Musk? on: July 22, 2021, 11:38:44 AM
Elon Musk has been very influential in the crypto world. That’s why many people are getting angry about how he affects the prices of Bitcoin and other cryptos when he tweets negatively. Well, we cannot blame him. He’s just a public figure person who just wants to express what he wants to say. It is all up to us how we are going to use his influence in the prices to our advantage.
