You should learn to seperate your money in investing do not go to a single investment, its a very good move if you invrst in the top coins for now and invest in a potential altcoins at the same time this will lessen your fear if some of this will fall and also prevent you in losing your money in one time. |

This time last year, bitcoin was still around $1000+ and nobody could think or imagined bitcoin is going to rise from 1000$+ to like $18000+. There was a huge market rise of it when closing July, August up till December
I do not know what you are trying to say, but if you are comparing this last year and this year value and how the value change quarterly you are right many article are saying the the last quarter this year maybe bitcoin will reached it new high. |

However, after developing the interest in bitcoin, they quickly revert their interest in bitcoin the moment they hear of the volatile nature of bitcoin, thereby, deciding not to invest into it anymore. Guys, what are some other factors that scare people from investing into bitcoin?
There are so many factors that scare investors some are: regulation, speculation and risk are some of the reasons that scare bitcoin investors, regulation the posibility to banned bitcoin. Speculation spreading bad news and fake information about bitcoin. Risk investing in cryptocurrency is a pure risk you do not have insurance here. |

I've just watched the John Oliver show about cryptocurrencies and something struck me about what he said:
" like most currencies, the fundamental reason that bitcoin has value is that people agree that it has value"
I just want to know your thoughts on this. I only have a little understanding about the idea of currency and its value although i've already been at it all my life. Im new into this kind currency and right now its plumetting.
Bitcoin has value because it used in many flatform, yes his right that users is the one who sets and give value to bitcoin. The investors, trading flatform market place and other apps and website who used bitcoin as the main medium to their daily transactions. |

When the time you posted this thread the fees will kill you because it so high. But today the fees is so low but the confirmation will take up to 6 and the waiting time will go up 40 min to an hour this is the problem of bitcoin right now the speed of transactions. |
