Thanks guys,

I tested the Android app, it can monitor only the total hashrate, not particular  miners, but does the job as a start, I'll test Minergain also later.

Unfortunately it seems that site was abandoned, sign up is impossible, old users are also reporting it stopped working months ago.

I was using MRR so far for the rig offline notification, but it was banned from Kano Sad. Having no such notifications is kind of a problem, my miners are 1 year old already, in a distant DC and I need to know when some hashboard is stuck and reboot is needed Sad ...

I cannot register in the site, is there a problem currently, or just some really crazy password requirements? If so they should be mentioned in the error message, instead I'm getting:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function mysql_connect() in /homepages/8/d177552237/htdocs/zachmonroe/ckpoolmonitor/register.php:26 Stack trace: #0 {main} thrown in /homepages/8/d177552237/htdocs/zachmonroe/ckpoolmonitor/register.php on line 26

Hi guys,

I'm trying to find an option in the pool to receive email alerts once my miner gets offline or the hashrate drops below normal (one of the hashboards gets stuck and reboot is needed). Is there such an option and where can I find it?

Thank you in advance!
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Mining OS] SimpleMining.net - Easy to use GPU MINING Operating System on: February 25, 2018, 09:47:05 AM
Hello Guys,

I'm still no0b in the GPU mining, so I'm not sure if my problem is SMOS or mining software related.
My rig consists of 1050TIs. When idle the core is at the default 1290Mhz. Once the mining (Ethereum - Ethminer or Claymore) starts, it jumps to 1733Mhz.

Even if I try to downclock it, the lowest I get is between 1506 and 1594 (every single card shows different value Cheesy ), and I don't really need this for Eth, I would like to lower it down (even test below 1290) so I could raise more the memory. I've put the power limit (watt) to 50, when loading it shows there are two options - 52 and 75 and it takes the 52 ... but I see from my power meter that it's still draining around 75.

So, any ideas how to lower the Core so I could raise even more the memory (due to the high core I'm at the limit of my PSU, and I could be gaining more with lower core/higher Memory, while spending less on electricity).

Do you think it's mining soft related (I see some strange message while loading - Persistence mode activated), something in the 1050ti driver used by SMOS or else?

PS1: just saw in my screenshots from the Afterburner/Nicehash test I made before going deep in with Linux where my knowledge is 0 Cheesy , that even with default values on some algorithms the core is 1290, and on another -1733 (unfortunately the screenshot is cut and I can't see the algos). So ... is there any way (I guess parameter in the mining script) to underclock more via Ethminer or Claymore ( I prefer the first cause no dev fee).

PS1a: mentioning no dev fee, did anyone had success adding it in SMOS?

PS2: However I definitely found a bug in SMOS, but once again, probably it's just for these cards. In order to under/overclock I need to type in the desired value multiplied by two. To raise the memory with 500 I'm putting in 1000. I'm really afraid if during some auto-update this gets solved, my miner can catch fire Cheesy !

edit: ok, just started getting a little deeper, seems that's not handled by the miner but by nvidia-smi, so guess we will need more ways to play with it via the dashboard ...

Miners, I do not understand, how you can continue to work with this scammer? He already stealed a lot of bitcoins on ver 1.Try to turn on your brain, what happen next. You are lucky that it is not enough miners on the pool now. bitfawkes @bitfawkes-you are THIEF!

ЗЫ. Надеюсь тебя bitfawkes в этом году трахнут в твой итальянский гудок и будешь зарабатывать жопой до конца своих дней - пидар ты!

I Hope all BTC payouts have been cleared... next step will be to pay the other currencies but please next time verify that wallet isn't empty before to choose the altcoin as payout. I want to remember again the 0.35 BTC won by 85noisy, put up for grabs just to highlight the idiocy of a man. we are waiting for all yours promises staiki.

Received ... better late than never Cheesy !
How/where can we verify that wallet is not empty and such payouts are possible? I'm interested in LTC/DASH mostly.

Hi Guys ...

Just a quick noob question ... I saw in my Nicehash Claymore that multi GPU systems require 16Gb of Virtual Memory (Page File). I see here that the minimum required is 7Gb... so is it safe to go with a 8Gb USB, or shall I take a 32GB better?

Please to get paid reach the minimum amount again and the miss payout will be cleared. This advice is valid for all miners with one or more payout without TX.
If someone won't or can't please contact me.

Hi bitfawkes ,

I've sent you a message 2 days ago (on 2nd of January), have you seen it? I still have no reply or income in my address, thank you in advance!

Hi,

i would like to mine the coin with my S9 Antminer an i test this config.

stratum+tcp://sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333
my BTC wallet adress
c=UNB

is this wrong ? because the S9 say

stratum+tcp://sha256.mine.zpool.ca:3333   my BTC wallet adress  Dead .

can anybody help me plase.

I have this exact same problem  (I use c=BTC)
I tried to remove stratum+tcp:// too same thing

Yes, c= means in what currency you want to get paid ... I also came here to ask is there a password parameter that can lock you to a single coint to mine (but get paid in another).

So, devs, or anyone else? Is there such option here? In Prohashing c= shows the coin you want to mine specifically, here we saw already it's not the case ...

Guys, please, can someone give me an advice? Do you know another trusted collocation place in Washington state where I could send my miner for a month or two while GW's pods kick in?
Thanks in advance!

Hello Guys,

Can anyone recommend me a good place for temporary hosting, close to Gigawatt (so that the shipping is lightening fast in both directions)? Thanks in advance!

Where have you sent your miners?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: November 17, 2017, 11:37:15 AM
Anyone ever tried http://italyiimp.com ? I see they are giving good stats for the last few days, but I also see comments from users that they're not paying ...

Read a little bit more, they say they were hacked then ...

And today Nicehash is again the most profitable.
I feel like I'm missing something ... turns out that either the people buying hashpower there are at loss, or they know some really profitable trick (that I don't) and can get more money despite the high price they're paying. That's driving me crazy ...

Guys, how about that:

Quote
Recommended to use a fixed diff to get more stable hash set on password d=16 if you mine x11 or d=65536 if you mine scrypt
You can set on D3s example is c=BTC,d=16 or for L3+ use d=65536 or higher than that

Never tried it, does it make a difference? I was thinking that setting a fixed difficulty will prevent it from mining different coins, thus making the multipool useless, but I guess I deserve my nickname Cheesy.

16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Launching the Antminer L3+, World's Most Powerful and Efficient Litecoin Miner on: November 09, 2017, 05:23:58 PM
Hi guys,

Any suggestions for most profitable Scrypt multipool at the moment, anything giving better profits than Nicehash?

Prohashing when it works..is like your hot mess supermodel girlfriend...when it works its great..when it does not you are beyond despondent Sad

I keep hanging in there...because mining x11 and scrypt all to LTC...I figure by the time I figure fees to mine BTC and convert and etc

I'd pretty much be in the same boat ..multipool wise

IT however was crap yesterday..sometimes they refund some hash back....we will see

LMAO!!! Well said!! HAHAHAHA!

My miners are showing it Dead now.  Mining away on the backup pool
Yup, I call it " Procrashing ". Went from my primary to my tertiary pool. They don't have enough capacity and doesn't seem like the brothers are in a hurry to expand. When it goes over their capacity they kick some miners off. Seemingly randomly.

Hm ... strange ... I was trying to use http://poolpicker.eu/table?algo=scrypt

and it gives there better results for Zpool for the last 3 days

(I've tried Zpool for 1 week earlier, but stopped because I heard some bad reviews for them stealing, didn't occur to me but I decided not to risk it)

As for Prohashing, never tried it as First pool (due to their enormous BTC withdraw threshold), but according to their own graph their profitability is less (or do they have problems with their own stats also Cheesy ? ) :

8th - 0.00000480 BTC
7th - 517
6th - 488
5th - 538
4th - 487
3rd - 518
2nd - 529

According to this they were the best pool only on 2nd Nov, when we don't have the stats from Nicehash ...

So ... I don't know should I believe such stats or not... All I know is that every time I switch to another pool cause it's more profitable according to the poolpicker, the one I left takes the lead ... I'm feeling like a black sheep already Cheesy !

About the renting - I had a few tokens that were rented on the highest, and changed afterwards to lowest so that everything goes to 100%.
After that I saw a button - update fee, that you can use even without stopping temporary the renting. Does it mean it will seek for someone with few miners and change from low to high rent when it finds him?
Also we have no stats on which prise our tokens are distributed when it's more than one.

We should probably all start spamming Bitmain with tickets for new firmware supporting the other X algos and hope this can be achieved with the current hardware ...

I've just received my D3 and after 2 days of working it produced only 0.02 DASH, that's terrible, ROI impossible.

I'm getting a lot of discarded jobs as you can see here :

https://imgur.com/a/4zt8H

Is it normal?.

Hey man,

I don't want to scare you, but you should take some fast actions cooling down the room, otherwise you'll be facing serious issues really soon. 6000+ RPMs is the 100% capacity of the fans, and even with that you are above 80 degrees. L3+ shuts down itself automatically at 80 to prevent heat damage, no idea why they removed it from D3. My machine is running with:

Fan#   Fan1   Fan2
Speed (r/min)   4,470   4,410

and the temp of the 3 chips is: 70, 72, 78
