Currently we are awaiting the funds to be released from our merchant account and to be deposited into our bank account. Once the hold our bank account it lifted we will convert all USD assets to BTC and distribute according to our Bitfunder list.

Here is a link to our Merchant Account Statement - April 2014.

thx,

nice to hear something from you Smiley

Ascension should let us know and agree to update us every two weeks or a month  for 6months - 12 months untill our funds are returned

otherwise we don't know ehtehr he's running off, and whether this is a scam,

i get the impression ascension is smarter than to run off

Let's hope he just lost the motivation to join the thread againg and simply pays the remaining funds directly to our addresses in 12 months.

Since we should be able to trade shares again in a few days/ weeks:

Do we get an bigger update with all relevant informations also about reinvestment plans and the possible future of this "project"?

Why is there being no action taken to recover the alleged $250,000 + lost to MT GOX?

This is the class action lawsuit filed.
Here is the suit contact the court.
http://www.scribd.com/doc/209823896/Greene-v-MtGox (http://www.scribd.com/doc/209823896/Greene-v-MtGox)

Unless the Gox $250k was another lie?

and asking for it in court would be a felony?

If you knew anything about law, in particular class action suites you would know that if the suit is won then the court would direct MtGox to send all the class members the information needed to recover their funds.

This: perfect answer; nothing more to say.

Ken needs to have the Bitfunder Tender list.  Which shows the people (like me and many others) that moved our shares to AMC-TENDER.  With repeated questioning, Ken has not answered whether he has this list.  He has asked that people login to Bitfunder and take screenshots of their trade to AMC-Tender to help prove that they did.  Which kind of tells me that he doesn't have the tender list, because he wouldn't need to do that otherwise.  (Which others have also pointed out.)

I look forward to the day I have my shares so I can immediately sell them and take whatever satoshi I can get for them.

This shouldn't be a problem. You can still login to bitfunder and have a look at all transactions.

The only possible problem could be, that there is no list of people who did not transfer theire shares to AMC Tender till the bitfunder shutdown

Alright, over a month now; does anyone still believe that the lawyer, who allegedly works on a new contract really exists?

I expect any documents, that confirm that your lawyer is really working on something till friday( shouldn't be that hard), otherwise i will contact the SEC. I really have enough of this bullshit...
(I will post the reply as soon as i receive an answer)

If anyone has reasonable arguments against or maybe a better idea, just tell me.
11  Economy / Securities / Re: [BitFunder] btcQuick - Bitcoin Sales Service on: April 07, 2014, 07:26:51 PM
just a little question:

Is nobody left who could worry about Ascension absence or does simply nobody worry even Ascension is inactive since almost a month?
12  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] Official Shareholder Discussion Thread [Moderated] on: April 06, 2014, 12:07:37 PM
This hinges on Ken making the right decision everytime and things always working out. We still don't know how much we lost on the eAsic deal or the 55nm deal. This is also money ActiveMining will never get again. What's the point of throwing money at stuff that won't stick, it would be better served paying Divs

You make a good point. I would like Ken to be transparent now about how much he lost to Peoples ASIC and eASIC.

Regarding dividends, If Ken spent 1000 bitcoin on all this hardware, and we expect a lifetime 30% profit, 1300 / 10,000,000 = 0.00013 per share.

That means for every IPO (0.0025) bitcoin we get 0.05 back in return.

Many of us need Ken to keep reinvestment high to have a chance of a reasonable return.

If we now pay out 50% to shareholders as a dividend I fear Ken will never ROI on this hardware and we will be lucky to last until 2015.

I also assume that a high reinvestment rate is probably the best. At least for the next one to three years( but who knows where bitcoin is then?)
13  Economy / Securities / Re: Lab Rat Data Processing, LLC (LabRatMining) Official Announcement on: April 04, 2014, 08:41:48 AM
This is getting ridiculous...almost a month and still no solution from LabRat; no even a clear communication.
I will contact the SEC end of next week, if there is still no meaningful reply from LabRat.
Lets see what they say...
A better course of action would be to consult a lawyer to discuss your (our) options.  I suspect the first step will be a threatening letter.  LR isn't going anywhere, so no need to involve the SEC just yet -- doing so would almost certainly shut down the operation with little or no chance of recovery.

Re consulting a lawyer, I suggest at least two people based in the US work together to take the lead on this.  There's little doubt you will get the full support of the other shareholders.

Lab Rat -- it has been an awfully long time since you promised a proposal from you and your lawyer.  You need to provide the proposal or at least update us on timing (setting a firm deadline -- lawyers deal with deadlines all the time, yours should too).  Right now we all think you are hashing with new hardware and not sharing proceeds.

I know, but the SEC is the cheapest solution and as long no one is willing to engage a lawyer or LabRat finally offers a answer, the SEC is the only solution.

btw BtcQuick has been dissolved and ascension, the former "CEO" of Btcquick has neither delivered any information about the remaining assets as he promised nor he was active in the last 3 weeks; so i guess żou can cross that of the list
There has been long time between Ascentions updates before and yes because of the dissolvements and because of the times they have to wait for CC card companys claim windows and such it's expected to take 6-12 months before the remaining BTC gets paid out to the  shareholders in btcQuick.

Let's hope so

okay; a short question:

Since we are not really selling any boards; caused by the low btc price or the bad PR( doesn't matter why), what are we doing with all the boards which will be produced next month?

Mining would be the best solution, bu as i remember the data center rented by activemining only supports up to 800/900 Th/s? And with all these boards produced we would have a lot more than 900 Th/s, or did is miss something?

Ken has responded to this question before:

So our max hashing is only 800TH?

I was hoping for 1-2 PH out of this datacenter

It is just a power and air conditioning limit.

Edit:  When we get close to that limit, we could bring in more power and air conditioning.

Ah thanks; looks like i missed that Smiley
