I am so confused right now. Where can I go for a "one stop shop" to see all the info on whatever the hell is happening with this coin and what I need to do to update my wallet and masternode?

I know it says right on the first page that the team doesn't commit to answering every question in here, but perhaps they should reconsider their activity in this thread. Because as a prospective investor/SmartNode operator, the first two places I went was the website and then here.
After reading the last few pages of this thread, my confidence in the coin has eroded and I've decided against purchasing a SmartNode. I would love to see some activity in here to change my mind though.

What's the story with the fork? I need to update my wallet or what?
Are the stakers getting screwed over since the team decided to cow-tow to masternodes?

Is there a Discord or Slack for this coin? My wallet crashed and I need assistance.

"Cuda error in func 'cuda_check_cpu_setTarget' at line 41 : unspecified launch failure."
HLP PLS?
GTX 1060's. Not mining with CPU. I've tried lowering my plimit but that didn't help.
Any ideas? Thanks

Is this coin still PoW? Any active pools?

I can't seem to find the answer by googling, but can you *currently* stake this coin without a masternode?
Staking and Masternode have nothing to do with each other No? Hold coins. Secure network. Earn coins. They're not exactly antonymous. But feel free to expound on the intricacies.

So 2 weeks after release, instead of further developing the project, dev's creating a hardfork. Nice GPU miner release Hope the project would still run positively up! I'll be watching it closely and be ready to jump in ASAP when the hardfork kicks in. Arionum has been continuously developed in the last weeks. It's still early beta so it's normal for a hard fork to happen. I appreciate that you're dealing with the GPU problem because if it isn't CPU only I won't be mining it. But what's to come of the current coins? The ones I've worked so hard for are now diluted by all the GPU mined coins.

Bytecent is a pretty great CPU only coin.

Forgive the redundancy, but I'd rather not read 250 pages to find these answers. If anyone would care to spoon feed me, it'd be much appreciated.
- Can I mine directly from the wallet? (a la' CryptoNote) - Is it feasible to solo mine or is it a waste of time?

To anyone having issues downloading the chain on the core wallet:
If doing a fresh install on Windows 7 computer; I assume it would be similar for a few older and a few newer versions:
Step 1 - Make hempcoin.conf. Open a notepad and save it with the name hempcoin.conf Make sure it is NOTEPAD!! Go to the first page of this thread and get the nodes, paste those nodes in this file and save it.
Step 2 - If from a failed attempt to install, make sure you deleted the whole hempcoin folder in username/appdata/roaming To finish with the .conf file, you need to allow your computer to let you change file extensions. Also, allow you computer you let you see hidden files and folders in folder options; grade school computer skills. Hit the windows key and type in "file x" as well as "hidden" for a quick access to do those changes. Don't forget to undo the previous steps once done, to return to your regular, safer settings.
Step 3 - When you saved the file in step 1, you essentially made hempcoin.conf.txt Once you've allowed to change the extensions, do a slow two click on the file to rename it; remove the .txt and you got a perfectly working .conf file! Alternatively, if you don't know how to two-click, right click the file chose rename. Alternatively, open the file's properties and change it there.
Step 4 - Cut the file and paste it in the roaming folder. If you have set your computer to let you see hidden files and folders, simply click on the windows icon, click on your username, then you will see a faded appdata folder, then click on roaming. You should see your hempcoin folder in there. Click on the hempcoin folder and do a ctrl-v or right click - then paste.
Step 5 - Install as an admin and allow for public networks once prompted. You may get an error when installing which will cause a CTD but try it again as an admin. It should work for some reason, happened to me a few times; if anything will break, leave it to me to break it without even trying. Trust me, it wasn't working otherwise on another computer without allowing public networks. If you trust your own computer's security, this shouldn't be an issue. I use a standalone computer for staking coins; only connects to stake and transact.
This should work with any coin's core wallet to which you are having difficulty establishing a connection to; though each have their own nodes and .conf files. I do not use nor do I endorse web wallet for anything..... ever. This fix worked on 2 separate computers running a fully updated Windows 7 SP1.
Downloading a full core wallet is like climbing to the top of a mountain, it sucks to do but once you done it, you feel like you accomplished something worthwhile.
All the best, hope this works, even if for just one person, it's worth it.
What the crap is all that? Just fix the damn wallet. How hard is that? Why can't I click on the "download' button and install the thing?

Fatal error trying to install the wallet.
Not exactly confidence inspiring.

Man... I just want to mine BTG.
If the world is better off if I point my measly little rig somewhere other than Suprnova, then so be it. Just tell me where to point it.

I think I need a break from this forum, its getting so hum drum. Buy the news sell the rumour, add some FUD and dabble in FOMO.... The good news for seasoned investors is, at times like this, just wait for the weak hands to panic sell and buy up all you can on the dip.
How many threads are there.... price up, "its heading to $5000", price down...... "why the dump?".
If the market corrects another 10%.... good times for the buyers.
Welcome to the internet.
