Well, i agree in terms of spreading malware on websites and attempts to compromising Linux Servers in the wild, but the fact that the majority of malware is written for Windoof, tends me to use the safer system without the need of antivirus software on my Linux Desktop. The Statement from Wikipedia -> "There has not yet been a single widespread Linux virus or malware infection of the type that is common on Microsoft Windows; this is attributable generally to the malware's lack of root access and fast updates to most Linux vulnerabilities." I never said Linux is safe, but it's way saver then Windoof  Well said. |
