Be careful. The team of Benebit is fake. Their profile pictures can be found at http://www.thsboys.org.uk/school-information/staff/ under different names.

UTRUST is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Aptoide, [...]

"Partnership" can mean anything these days and since there is no mention of it on AppCoins' social media platforms or their site, I call this bullshit until proven otherwise.

Hey! Whats the news here? How many tokens were raised during ICO? was the soft cap reached?
Allegedly they reached the cap, but the fact is that minutes before the ICO ending they were still missing over 25 million tokens.

Take a look at the ICO progress bars on utrust.io, they are not filled completely.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: December 09, 2017, 11:43:33 PM
After ICO is finished, communication is at very low level at many projects.
I wouldn't mind much as long as they deliver their promises. Seeing them fail to succeed at this stage already and not communicating it is much worse.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: December 09, 2017, 07:40:38 PM
Considering the bot-like posts on social media like Twitter and Facebook with highly outdated information, previous whitepaper versions etc, the delays and missing deadlines, I get the impression that this indeed a scam.
Even UTRUST team members themselves are/were quoting false information from their own whitepaper making it look like they don't know their own project.

The official and currently outdated status apparently is (https://t.me/utrustfaq):
"We experienced a delay with our KYC provider and the tokens will be released later than expected. At this point in time, aim for December 2017 and cannot provide you with a detailed date.  We will keep you posted if anything changes."

As I wrote earlier, don't expect your tokens in 2017, if at all.

There is only one company doing KYC for ICOs in Switzerland as it seems, which is IDnow. [...]
This is not the case as UTRUST - according to their newsletter you should have received - switched from IDnow to Jumio in a matter of days.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: December 05, 2017, 02:29:05 PM
Some quotes from the Telegram channel:

Robin Ebers (UTRUST team):
"IDNow is completely overwhelmed with all the ICOs they’re supporting right now and they contradict themselves on a constant basis. We’re working on a solution outside of IDNow and will update our community as soon as we know more."

Robert Sattler:
"Hm to get that info one two days earlier will help of people
ID now say to me they don't know Utrust they ask what is that :flushed:"

Robin Ebers (UTRUST team):
"Again, they’re super unprofessional and I’m certain will face legal consequences. For now we cannot comment further on the situation, but we’re working on it."

EDIT:

Meanwhile UTRUST keeps twittering about an outdated whitepaper version.

Got it, thank you.

What about the other questions?
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: December 02, 2017, 12:44:17 PM
You can verify the BaFin compliant countries and their accepted IDs on your own here: [...]
Thank you but I don't see any mention of a proof of residence or a signature there.

Previous versions of your linked document do not contain any changes in the regulatory process regarding driver's licenses. Even v1 from 2016 does not allow a driver's license as a proof.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] 🔵 UTRUST 🔵 The future of online payments is here. on: December 02, 2017, 12:25:07 PM
There are different levels of KYC and we have to comply with the highest which include Nationality. [...] IDNow [...] now only relies on ID cards and passports. [...] we will do everything necessary to comply with active regulation [...].
Can you please elaborate on this and more importantly provide a valid source for your statement?

Who created these regulations? Who enforces you to comply with the "highest" level of regulations?

According to IDnow, "All you need is your ID card, an internet connection, and a webcam or a smartphone." [1], which contradicts the requirement for an ID, a proof of residence and a signature.

Why did IDnow decide to discard driver's licenses as a proof of identification? They are not listed as valid proof on their web site in the first place and why did it not happen before you started the KYC?

This would surely help to resolve questions many users are asking themselves right now.

Just found out there is a Telegram channel for announcements at https://t.me/utrustannouncements and as of 2017-11-29 they are searching for partners:
"Do you have an online shop and want to help UTRUST revolutionize online payments? Join our survey here and we will reach out to you very soon: [...]"

I'm far from being a marketing expert, but why do they keep silent about the KYC process and instead are posting something like this in a channel no one has even heard of? Linkedin, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit would have been better alternatives, no one has to actively join a channel there.

Seriously, what the hell?

@topswattashawn: Since you probably will comment on this... I tried really hard to find some positive development on this. But I just can't and it gets worse almost daily.

Here is a list with all whitepaper versions I could find, as it might be useful for people to refer to earlier versions.
2017-08-08, v1.0, https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/utrust/UTRUST-whitepaper-v1.0.pdf
2017-10-15, v1.0.1, https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/utrust/UTRUST-whitepaper-v1.0.1.pdf
2017-11-01, v1.0.2, https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/utrust/whitepaper/en/UTRUST-whitepaper-en-2017-11-01.pdf
2017-11-02, v1.0.2 (edited), https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/utrust/whitepaper/en/UTRUST-whitepaper-en-2017-11-02.pdf

2. On faq page there is specified "UTRUST will appear on several exchanges within two weeks after the end of crowd sale." . There is less than a week remaining and not everybody received their tokens yet.

They are officially going by the statement in their whitepaper, which states that tokens will be able to be withdrawn within THREE (3) weeks after the ICO ends.
What whitepaper are you referring to? Version 1.0.2 says: "the UTK are planned to be issued to all contributors no longer than 2 weeks after the ICO closes".

I am still wondering why that guy is involved in so many companies and why he is the only one registrated as part of the management team of Utrust... and not mentioned on the website as part of the team... Why is Utrust nog transparant about this? If there is nothing to hide, why hide it?
Try to ask this in the telegram : https://t.me/utrustofficial
I did. My questions were basically ignored and I was told to stop asking and to contact Marc personally for further information. Make what you want of this kind of reply.

@topswattashawn:
I left the Telegram channel several weeks ago after asking questions which were intentionally avoided leaving me unsatisfied. Although team members do reply there, these are in no way official statements to be relied upon as you can see in my previous posts. Besides, finding useful posts in this thread took too much of my time already.

Since the end of the ICO no newsletter has been dispatched and I had to crawl their different social media accounts to gather different bits of information on updates, just to find mostly generic posts advertising some videos from past months and this forum. In the end I found the Twitter post, shared it here and did some basic math.

Good to know they are making progress. Clearly the token release delay goes beyond the time frame announced in the whitepaper, contrary to the message you quoted. Why not send a newsletter as promised or announce it on the main social media platforms? Not long ago we received emails almost daily telling us about the ICO progress. This is what leaves a bad impression on me.

On the positive side, I'm glad to see that the spam has stopped and a normal discussion is possible here.

I would like to know how are the situation of those who bought in the pre-sale in August and still did not exist rules on KYC, I have driver's license, identity and proof of residence but I dont have a passport, and in my country it can take a few weeks or months, especially at the end of the year when the public service goes on vacation, not to mention all the bureaucracy, I would like to get my coins and I dont want a refund.
Although this is the official thread, you won't get any answer here. Try their telegram channel or other social networks.

https://twitter.com/UTRUST_Official/status/935302009237860352:
"We started to roll out KYC to the participants at a rate of a few hundred a day. Please note that the system will send you an email once you were selected and that it selects investors automatically. Keep in mind that we had 14.000 plus participants. Thank you for your patience!"

Assuming a total of 14.000 participants and that they verify 500 people each day which is probably way more than "a few hundred", it will take another month to complete the KYC process for everyone, meaning you won't see any tokens until the end of December or probably even January because of holidays. Way to go UTRUST.

Yeah. And did you post the updated version of this post? Of course not - cause that's no way to spread FUD. Slimy indeed.

There is no updated version of that post and if so, feel free to post it together with the source.

How much does UTRUST pay you to discredit people?  Grin
