Have you made any edits to 1bash file? Seems it's not happy with the format of it. I would be better if you paste your 1bash here. It seems your 0miner, 1bash and 3main are somehow corrupted. Try to reimage. P.S. Please enclose long post within CODE formatting. Click on the # icon to post long code. Thanx for your answers damNmad and leenox. After 3 downloads of the image and 3 reimages, mining 1 coin working nicely now  I need to experiment multiple coins mining during this week-end. Regards. Hi guys, even after the new latest bios flash of my mobo, my situation remains the same ... trying nvOC 19-14 and 19-2 and I'm not able to boot my rig (black screen) ... If I look at my usb key after the facts, there are no more 1bash's file, no more 8coins file and no more Trash directory ...
Uefi bios enable >4G done
Disable onboard gpu done
Legacy usb support enabled done
Wonder what's wrong ? any ideas ? ...

Black screen tells me you are probably running LOCAL. Have you tried to ssh (putty) into it from a windows machine? When I have seen that black screen on my rigs, I have found that GPU0 has changed and the display is showing on another GPU that I am not connected to. If possible (open air rig), you could try connecting your monitor to the other GPUs until you find it. Or, if you are on 19-2.0, you can use the nvOC utility's gpumap function to find it: Hope this helps. Indeed, I was on LOCAL mode. I've just used ssh with 19-14. I can connect to my rig but I have always the same message asking me to restart my computer ... any other idea ? Regards. |

I think nvoc system is not uefi compatible. I would try to disable uefi bios. I'm already using no uefi (legacy enabled and secure boot disabled), this is not the problem. Strange thing is that all working nicely with 19-13 and lan's leds showing activities but with 19-14 still have black screen and no lan's leds activities at all ... any other idea ? Regards. |

Speaking of OC's , I only have 1 rig, which has only 1060's. I can suggest the best for it but not much about 1080 TBH. nvOC doesn't use % I would suggest to try 80% of your power limit, my 1060 power limit is 120 and 80% of it is 96. Core clock, fullzero suggested me in the beginning to increase 10 at a time until it crashes. Once you find the stable CC - core clock then increase the MC - memory clock 50 at a time until you see the number of sols stable This is just my illustration from my experience of 1060. If I were you, I would Google first and try what people suggesting, there are lots of topics about this Tip: Every algorithm and every coin is different, so you need to change it depending on algorithm/coin you mine. PS: Welcome to the Jungle  Thanks for your reply damNmad. As you mentioned and as suggested by fullzero, I'm gonna try to oc core clock 10 by 10 until crashes. just type following : => + return it's to see the actual running jobs if you are mining, normaly, you should see 3 jobs : 1) the miner 2) temp (assuming temp supervision is on yes in your bash file) 3) watchdog (assuming wdog supervision is on yes in your bash file) to see each job type the following : => + return it's to see your mining jobs => to exit the miner windows same for the other jobs => + return => + return then type : => + return it's to close your ssh session but the jobs still running if you want to change your bash file, just type : => + return nano it's a text editor - you can change what you want then ctrl + o to write out / then return / then ctrl + x to close nano if you change your bash file, you need to kill the miner so for that, just type : => + return after some seconds, your mining process restart by itself to see if all working ok, just type : Regards. |

No more warns now but still no mining process ... computer still in reboot's loop after some minutes (no process to run). your zen settings are wrong
for suprnova you need to create a username and then also manually addworker and match your username / worker name to that in your 1bash on nvoc
it's easier to get started on zenminepro /miningspeed /minez zone/ or luckpool if you're having trouble with that
also is there a good guide on how to SSH into your rigs from windows? I'm usign Putty on my win10 pc to control my rig and I've also tried the local mode with the first gpu near the processor but no mining process at all even after my sudo apt-get install libutempter0 + reboot. In order to be sure, when you say that with suprnova I need to use username/workername in 1bash, maybe it's a part of my problem. I have an account with suprnova (zen) and also have a worker so - for example - if my suprnova username is gaol and my worker name is the same, how must I write correctly this in my 1bash's zenworker ? must I use : gaol.gaol ? or must I use a slash or something else ? Same question with my worker password, where to put it in 1bash setup ? If you have ideas to solve this problem, there are welcome. _S_C_ |

I'm trying to use nvOC_v0019 with my new rig (MSI Z270-A PRO + Intel G4400 + 8 Go RAM + 5 MSI GTX1080TI Gaming OC + usb 3.0 sandisk extreme 32 Go) but without succes ...
I've spend hours to read your amazing work but both LOCAL or REMOTE don't work ... I have some warns and the mining process doesn't start.
After some minutes, my pc enters in a reboot's loop because of no working process.
I use the native mobo's driver same for my gpus drivers (so no uefi or gpu's flash at all for now).
