1  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: An Introduction/Guide to the popular Etherium DApps: FOMO3D and PoWH3D on: July 24, 2018, 11:43:55 PM
If you just want to play a game that is based on being the last player before the countdown, KickTheCoin.com has been around for a while now. Only the first two players get dividends so games actually end with winners.

The problem with clone sites like these is they have no volume. The biggest pot on kickthecoin is less then .02 eth which is pretty much nothing.

I wouldn't exactly call KickTheCoin.com a clone site since its been around quite a bit longer than FOMO3D, i think (correct me if i am wrong) it was the first countdown site on an EVM. That being said it does take some momentum to make the site work.

Seems like a fancy version of https://kickthecoin.com/?network=eth which has been out for a while now on a few networks.

First decentralized game on the ELLA network was just launched.

I have launched a beta version of a decentralized game on the ELLA network.

We have played one game an @Zveno on discord won 10+ ELLA playing.

You can reach me as @LetEpsilonBe on the Ellaism discord https://discord.gg/tuVwmQ

The game site is https://handsonahardcoin.com/?network=ella (note there is not always an active game, make sure to look for the "Click to Join" link).

This project, which seemed a little bit like a pet project, now seems to actually have some legs. Getting some hashpower behind it. Congrats!

10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / CBOE Futures Frozen for 2minutes on 10% drop. Is wall street ready for bitcoin? on: December 13, 2017, 10:55:37 PM
According to CNBC, CBOE bitcoin futures were frozen on a 10% change. 10% change in bitcoin is not at all new or interesting.

https://www.c[Suspicious link removed]m/2017/12/13/bitcoin-futures-briefly-halted-after-plunging-10-percent.html

Is wallstreet ready for bitcoin if this is how they react to a 10% change in price?

11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: a wallet for tokens? on: December 12, 2017, 11:42:41 PM
MEW with a ledger nano S, i think it is a really clean and secure combination.  Ledger nano s can sign transactions securely and MEW has the most tutorials and community support so if you run into anything you don't understand you can research how to  the sign transaction types you are looking (of course do the research BEFORE you sign the transactions).
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: which really cheap alts to invest and where? on: December 12, 2017, 11:37:57 PM
Hello people.
I'm looking for alts worth 0,001 usd to invest. whcih sites offer trading with pennystock?

I think most of the cheapest altcoins are available on Etherdelta so probably check their website for the price. I don't have an account there since I don't do trading so based on some people's feedback, Etherdelta's interface isn't that user friendly so I guess you need to check out videos for tutorial if you don't have an idea.
Etherdelta these days are too long deposits and withdrawal. Needs to increase the gas for you to trade an altcoins. But I suggest to invest in ethereum price is okay to trade and for sure you can earn of your funds.

Its good to look at https://ethgasstation.info/ if you are going to trade on etherdelta, to make sure the gas prices are reasonable for the volume you are trading in.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Litecoin to be over $5000 in 2018? on: December 12, 2017, 11:35:48 PM
I feel that litecoin might be fixing yesterday's problems come late 2018. If the other projects work to solve those same problems, it might limit Litecoin's utility, so $5k would be optimistic. That being said maybe LTC will have some more improvements that make it is utility and valuation really jump. Its of course up to the community.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: put 1k into waves on: December 12, 2017, 11:32:20 PM
What made you go ahead in invest the 1k? What do you think are the top 3 best features of the project?
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: exchange cryptocurrencies on: December 04, 2017, 11:35:36 PM
You should find where the coin you are interested are trading. Do some research on the exchange. And if you feel comfortable trade there.

Shapeshift is great for what it is, but there are too many coins now for it to take care of everything.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] «Envion» Most Profitable Self-Expanding Crypto Infrastructure on: November 05, 2017, 02:30:17 PM
I dont understand the mining payout will be in BTC or on their own token?

This does seem to be the real question? If it is paid in BTC/ETH then are these tokens a fancy open ended mining contract?
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5000 USD on: November 03, 2017, 10:10:45 PM
Popcorn, have you ever looked into the markup on popcorn. Go to the movies, popcorn is crazy expensive, but its so cheap to make. I vote for popcorn!

Also i am pretty hungry so that might have something to do with it.
18  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin to $14 million on: November 01, 2017, 10:34:03 PM
It would be interesting it we did the math again, but excluding the top 50 nations in terms of GDP. So basically assume that the top 50 nations have there basket of currencies, then the rest of the world has its currency. The reason this would be interesting is that the big nations don't have to contend with the same level of currency instabilities.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gold is next to Bitcoin on: October 24, 2017, 09:38:18 PM
I was excited when i first heard about using a GPU friendly algo, but with the scam sites https://imgur.com/a/h3ht4 , no talk of how to mine, nobody really putting a face on it. I feel its a speedbump and bad for blockchain.
20  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BitcoinGold is a Scam!?! Carefull with Your Bitcoin Private Keys!!! on: October 24, 2017, 11:47:45 AM
Also can confirm that "secure DOT claimbitcoin DOT gold"  is a scame site that asks for BTC  PRIVATE key, which you should never ever give out for any reason ever.

It is linked to via this twitter account @btcgpu

Here is a screenshot of them asking for PRIVATE key.
