Is there some place to ask EOS development related questions? Trying to work a bit with the RPC endpoints but some of the documentation is lacking. This thread has some links on the first page but no Discord or such. Telegram is full of noise..

the withdrawal of MC became available from Coinmarkets, but my coins on orders, how to cancel orders for withdrawal?
go to balances -> active trades -> from here you should be able to cancel all trades.. the "current active trade" selection is just a small text on top under balances, so easy to miss. i canceled mine long ago but it was this way i think, quite unintuitive.. |

why sell colx on cryptopia and make a trace?
they can easy transfer bitcoin to monero anonymously, for laundering and run with a lot of money..
and now they sell colx? 30 march for 40k dollar?
they have milion of dollar in btc...
they can easy make possibile withdraw of all coin they trade and in this time laundering btc easy and with calm, and the last week of realese (the btc,ltc week) they can close the site with one hand and with the other drink a cocktail on a paradise island.
You have good points. However, nothing CM does makes any sense, so sensible speculation is kind of pointless in this case. Why not bother communicating at all? Nothing we can do but wait and see in any case. Which is a shame, as I could use those coins I had there.. Perhaps they also realized people are kind of powerless, and started to turn in some profit with the exit scam. That would make some sense. |

Yeah, they're pretty much alll shitcoins with negligible trading volumes. As I see it, there 2 possibilities:
1) Coinsmarkets is scamming everyone (most likely)
2) Coinsmarkets was hacked and they're trying to replace some of the shitcoins themselves to delay the witchhunt (less likely)
3) they really messed up their transactions database and started fixing from the lowest volume coins with least transactions to fix. since everything else was traded against BTC,LTC,DOGE this process would lead to those three being released last as fixing them would require fixing all other coins first. 4) they lost their mind like most who work too long in IT, and decided to start an epic trolling campaign. doing very good at it, too. |

I am quite impressed with the trolling by coinsmarkets, whether intentional or not. This latest way of releasing some 10 shitcoins, followed by another 10 shitcoins a week later gave some hope. That they would start releasing all coins, and the speed of release goes faster as they get more experience in it, and have less transaction pairs left. Obviously it was just some more false hope. The best so far is of course the "trade will be enabled in few hours" from few months back.
Now just to wait what is next on the agenda of messing with everyone.

When btc & ltc??!
They still haven't fixed the DB balance for LTC and BTC yet as I've checked the block explorer and my balance isn't there yet. can you now safely log in to the website at least? You can log in, change passwords, cancel trades, and such. They never reset the pins even if saying they were going to do so, so might be good to change password anyway. Maybe good to keep the old one around in case they mess up the DB again, of course.. |

I'm not sure about this coin. There is a clear mistake every day. People can't even laugh at the block chain.
With all of their developers, you think they have some simple and basic things to keep the blockchain up to 100%.
What mistakes and what keeps you from laughing at the blockchain?  I have had no issues with the blockchain, but the Discord is very active if you have issues. |

So what do you all do with your EMB? C-patex has no buy orders and some 8.5B EMB on sale at 1 litoshi? Wondering if I should even bother setting up a wallet for it or not.. Suppose I will look into it. Has there been anything on how they will handle the staking during this time? |

buckpool.site is still down (except website) and seems to be having issues lately. network hash is 200ksol+ again. maybe this helps spread the hash a bit when buckpool.site comes back up.. |

If they had some actual DB corruption due to too many transactions or whatever, I guess ECA might have had the biggest activity (most transactions to go through) at the time. After fixing that, it should be more familiar for them what to do, and other coins would have less transactions to go through and fix. So enabling more coin(s) could certainly be possible sooner than 2 months for the first one.
Or it could just be they are trolling as usual (trading will be enabled in few hours..), while actually smoking weed and visiting ladies at the red lights..

We will be launching more services through PolyShield once this portion of existing MasterNode host/share service completed.
We are ever-present and ever-busy working on more services for POLY. The base code for the project hasn't needed much in the way of updates and has been very solid thanks to our great team. However, there will be updates to the code in the future (obviously.) This was to comment on the newbie who loves us so much he made a new account just to come in and say negative things he obviously knows nothing about. Much thanks for your kind reply. I am now much more positive towards the project, and I see progress in decreasing concentration of capital (which can be easily spoofed though), however I am not a C++ developer which majority of people here aren't, and can only barely understand comments in the code. I think I will speak on behalf of the lay community with the following: 0) Show me where I can learn more about the things I don't know nothing about, duh! Your website has almost no useful information, which is a huge negative thing. 0.1) Who the hell are 25 guys controlling 50% of capital?? (Please label known pools/exchanges in explorer) 1) Show me the team! 2) Show me the idea (why the world needs your coin?). Whitepepper maybe?  3) Show me the plan for future development Right now it feels like it's just couple dudes just want to make a blockchain with not yet seen combo of six random hashing algos (and name it precious) without any idea why except put it on the exchanges and hope it will for some reason appreciate in value and make quick buck from selling it. Maybe you need help? I'd much rather say positive things, but can you defend your project against substantial negative things that I say? The best organic way to growth that you are looking for is to explain what your project is about, and how is it different, and what is its vision for the future. This will attract excited preachers. You have some very good questions there. Unfortunately, there is no answer and I guess there will not be. I asked similarly before what use case does POLY have (the idea). No answer either. Like you say, it looks like a combo of six random hashing algos with no other reason but to make yourself some quick bucks. The same goes for the PolyShield Masternode service (I asked about this before). They get people to donate their coins for masternodes, take the rewards for themselves and give out the useless POLY in return. This is what is seems like anyway, no reply as I asked before. The people running this are obviously smart, otherwise they would not be able to set all this up, and run the money machine successfully. So don't see any reason for lack of reasonable responses. And the plan seems to have been very successful. I am off to other things, seen too many things like this already in crypto, they never ended good. Too many flags. But thanks for all the efforts.. |

Is crypto-bridge the only place to trade ECA now? Trying to withdraw my ECA but keep getting Cloudflare error page. Once it seemed to go through but got complaint about too many withdrawals too fast on CM. And nothing moved.. Now crypto-bridge is showing the deposit address as "unknown"? Also ECA price there seems to be going down and volume up as everyone is dumping.. |

The fact that there are some servers behind cloudflare.. well.. they don't care about it. Why to even bother to shut them down?
In my opinion these servers are just rebooting themselves occasionally and some of them are dead.
Do you have any theory about domain registration?
Why owner details now changed from some fake Netherlands address to Japan, I guess?
Is current assigned to domain registration reminds you something? If not use google. Will help you identify previous cases with that suppose to be "domain owner".
For the domain registration, I think they transferred from Gandi because they got kicked for providing the fake contact information. The new one would then be an anonymous registrar service in Japan who uses this specific person as contact information for all their domains. That's what I gathered from earlier "news" on the site and discussion here anyway, and it seems to make sense. Haven't look into it in a lot of detail because this * is hardly coming back regardless. You are correct that the servers are just left on their own and maybe occasionally boot. They are the same as 2 months ago and nothing is changing. Waiting for anything to come up now is just stupid. So I agree it is a scam, or whatever extreme incompetence and perverted people behind it. |

I use poly.suprnova.cc for a pool. There is another pool listed on the first page of this thread, run by the coin dev. Suprnova is there also, just with much smaller font. There are some other pools listed through this thread but not sure if they are still active on POLY.
Don't know about good OC settings, suggest try a few..

I think they can't give coins back. They either lost/stole them, or their DB went fubar and they don't know how many coins each user really had. About two weeks ago last time I was able to login I had an order for negative amount of BTC (-0.0005 BTC or so) which wasn't coming up on active trades but was affecting the total BTC balance. Back in early january some people reported that they had more coins than they should. Maybe they are still fixing that.
I logged in today, and my balances are listed as they were before all this started. I know it is just a set of numbers in their DB and does not mean anything from the blockchain perspective. Still, for them to "fix" it, I would expect that this is the information they would need (my balance in their DB). It is possible that there is a set of users, such as yourself, whose balances are corrupted and they don't know how to fix those. For example, those with active trades after last backup, or who were active at the time when their DB broke. This could be all the "DB issues" they are referring to. I don't see them fixing those though, if they haven't managed with all this time. But no-one knows with this ridiculous communication. In any case, I do not have much hope any more. Just can't stop checking on this daily.. These developments are always "interesting", and you never know.. :/ |

I agree the coin could use some improved communications.
If someone has a concern about Github, maybe someone could give an answer to why is there nothing happening on Github? If your only answer is to flame the person asking, it only seems like dodging all questions and criticism. Raises more concern.
Also, I asked before and still have no answer, does POLY have some use case? I like the idea of the Polyshield service (shared masternodes). But if you ask people to contribute their MN coins for a shared MN, then give them back POLY instead of the MN coin as reward, why should they? Seems more like someone wants to pocket the MN rewards themselves.
What other services are planned besides Polyshield? Is there any "roadmap"?
Is there any service or otherwise planned that would give people a chance to use POLY for something? There are so many crypto out there that having just another with no clear purpose other than to buy and sell with some BTC seems pointless.
I have some POLY and keep mining it a little bit, but some more information would be nice.
