1  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [OPEN] Group Buy #15 Blade Miners 3.50 BTC or less! Shipping to USA addresses on: September 25, 2013, 12:54:09 AM
SSB,
Thank you for fast order and shipment processing.

Btw, can you keep us informed about the backplane situation please?

I have received a limited amount of backplanes tonight. Any new orders of 10 blades in one order will receive a free backplane. I don't have extras to sell as I only received a limited amount of them.
So no luck for yesterdays order of 10blades?

anyone in batch 1 & 2 still considering refunds?  I got 64 chips in batch 1 and 64 in batch 2 both with full assembly.  Considering a refund, not sure if we can ROI, anyone got some good estimates?

I've lost my trust in avalon/k16/whatever related project.
Asked for refund for 320 chips in batch 2 (no assembly though).

Quick and dirty fix? Works for me.
Add .decode() to the following line (authproxy.py):
Code:
self.__auth_header = "Basic %s" % base64.b64encode(authpair).decode()

11  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [RELEASE] Avalon Reference on: May 27, 2013, 02:32:39 PM

Is the verilog/VHDL code for the FPGA also open source? Very
curious how they did the communication with the ASICs.

intron

Only binary version at this moment. Open source version of VHDL should be released later.
Also, check the git repository. Avalon datasheet is available there. Maybe you'll find what are you looking for in it.

From the readme file (https://github.com/BitSyncom/avalon-ref/blob/master/README.md):
disclaimer:
==========
current version of FPGA bitstream contains licensed parts we can not open source
 at the moment,
a licensed free version is being worked on that will be released in the future.
