1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Strange wallet issue on: December 21, 2013, 11:58:05 PM
Yes Wink

Ok, thanks. I mean sure, every public address is enough to see bit coins but how come the drau address found its way to my wallet's receiving addresses? I imported a vanity private key to wallet. So, where is the private key? Other addresses, also some of them vanity,  there are ok

Baffling.... One good thing there is not too much money there couple dollars

So, the blockchain is refreshed now - no change in status Sad

I wonder what is the reason - could I accidentally deleted private key? I used pywallet... maybe then

Cheers,
Tom
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Strange wallet issue on: December 21, 2013, 04:32:38 PM
It really just needs the address.  But, just use your paper backup and a new instance of bitcoin-qt and sweep the funds to another address.

Hi, do you mean only a public address is enough to see btc's?

Thanks,
Tom
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Strange wallet issue on: December 21, 2013, 02:00:36 PM
Ok, so my blockchain loads from scratch

I tried to sign messages - all addresses are ok and sign, only drau address says Private key for entered address is not available Sad

The BTC is visible, but not confirmed

I will check again when blockchain loads

Thanks,
Tom

Hi

Thanks for replies

I restored wallet from three different backups but it is still the same Sad

How can bitcoin-qt see the money without private key?

Cheers,
Tom
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Strange wallet issue on: December 19, 2013, 09:46:36 PM
Hi!!

I have a bitcoin-qt 0.8.6 and some small amount of bitcoins in it

When I try to send them to other address I get a failed transaction

I verified my addresses with listunspent but there is nothing strange

So, I tried to see private keys and ups:

Private key for address 1drau5TSfhkJF4Lo8xdTidwVMFX8HdKp7 is not known (code -4)

I know that I have generated this vanity address and imported the private key to bitcoint-qt

I see the transactions and amount of bitcoins is correct

Can you help?

Cheers, Tom

Any news?

Nope, only btc 800$ soon and we got a pinup girl with wafers picture for our trouble

I wonder if we get any hardware at all Sad

Hi

I believe with recent increase close to 400$ we paid much less for the box and the ROI is over twice better.
Even if I feel bad I am against the refund and I'd like to get the machine.
Of course, if HashFast delivers in reasonable timeframe

Cheers,
Tom

When is this rig supposed to ship and has anyone kept up on if they are on schedule so far?

Hi tripppn

Sure NOT

See here: https://hashfast.com/updated-shipping-news/

They are on schedule with everything but the MOST important piece

And fuck the customer

You and I pay real money for bullshit news and hope and advertising

I know it well from communist time in Poland - yes we will deliver yes a lot and yes for everyone and yes you will be one happy Mac but only if you are dead or in the top party rank and fuck off or we will send police to take care of ye

Enjoy the feeling it is priceless

So, it is mid November and yes it will be anywhere in December 2020 when btc will be 1M$ per piece

Sorry for rambling but this is my third GB and every time the honest GB organizers are fucked big time by the smart ass producers

Cheers anyway,
Tom

R4 finally squared away. Thomas & -R- had to reduce shares & be refunded for 2 and 3 R4 shares, respectively.

Final users finalized in R3 and R4. Thank you for your patience. For future reference: PLEASE sign transactions or if this isn't possible send a PM with Transaction ID and details.

These two simple steps will save your Group Buy Coordinators hours of stress if there's any complications.

Hi

I reserve the remaining shares

Cheers,
Tom

Hi Tom,

You got it! I can't believe it: We're all filled up in about 12 hours. Thank you and welcome aboard Tom!

Zero shares remaining. Backup share slots available!

Please PM thomas_s. and myself for backup shares. There's a decent chance a few shares may spring free as I had pre-reserved a couple of shares from R2 gents I haven't heard back from yet.

Well, I think it is done using a simple script - just matter of checking if all data is correct

Script like:

bitcoind walletpassphrase ...
bitcoind sendtoaddress <address1> 5.45
bitcoind sendtoaddress <address2> 7.45
bitcoind sendtoaddress <address3> 8.45

etc...

You can use excel to generate this script from the list of buyers in 5 minutes

I use the sendmany command.  This puts the entire refund in 1 transaction.
I don't know how to make Excel emit a ready to go command, I still do a bit of hand editing.

Haha you are right, it might be easier way - thanks for sharing !!

Cheers.

I confirm that the address below belongs to me, and I'll process the refund ASAP when I have 1-2 hours in hand. (probably tonight)  I submitted the refund request about 3-4 times, and finally changed the refund address when Avalon wasn't doing anything after 1 week.

Hopefully we can get this settled soon...

Phew..!! I think we just made it. According to this post, the refund request was made on the 17th but received chips today.
Good call on changing the wallet address by John K. Seems the other one was being auto rejected for some reason  Huh

Now the big job of refunding all the ~108 GB buyers 1 by 1 Shocked If anyone deserves the fees here it's John K.

Well, I think it is done using a simple script - just matter of checking if all data is correct

However, JohnK does deserve the fee, for his integrity - he keeps 100k$ in his wallet and he sends it back to us Smiley

That angry German guy is hilarious  Grin
OT: I'm sure Yifu, John K. and Bizwoo will do whatever they can to get our BTC to us ASAP - take a chill pill and hang in there, you're not the only one waiting for closure!
seriously yall need to CHILL THE FUCK OUT.  you placed a pre-order for something which would potentially not ROI, so if ultimately you never get your product and get 0BTC then that was a gamble you chose to make.  chances are we will get our BTC and you can then go spend that on something else that you will get pissed about not getting ROI on.

Thanks finlof
That's exactly the point

Thanks for the update.

Compared to what other group buy organizers have done, this one has been very slow. Have a look at Bicknellski for example. Due to this he has received a June 24 order refund.
Have you filed a support ticket for a refund? Anything goes in this game. Yifiu only seems to respond when people start to pressure him.

WRT fees. AFAIK, only steamboat kept the fees.
Besides, you are going against your own Group Buy Conditions. You took the risk but didn't pull through. Are you a man of your word?

Quote
Quick summary of the main advantages and conditions of this Group Buy:

5. Low group buy fees of just bellow 3% to cover the responsibility of organising it. This fee will be released by JohnK once the group buy has completed i.e. all chips delivered to final destination. I will buy my chips from my own pocket.

Cheers.

WRT fees you are indeed bad informed.

And the all chips delivered to final destination statement was refereed to the scenery in which I effectively received the chips but then failed to ship/deliver then to the buyers. Of course it could be interpreter on any other way, unfortunately. Besides neither I kept 3% fees or received the chips.

Hi I sent a pm

Of course I would like to get my chips and I will pay for assembly

We had an agreement and I will honour it

nekonos - are You going to assemble K16? What will happen to Your business if all people will back off? I still want my miners :-) But I have only 10.

I have only 6 but I stick with nekonos too - no refund go ahead I as planned

Besides, I urge caution, BTC is 137 usd right now

I only wonder if Avalon is scam or just custom trouble ...

Hi

I'd like to get rigs (96 chips on nekonos boards)

Nekonos put a lot of work and money into it and I am going to stick to my agreement with him and bizwoo

I was sure there would be delay and in fact I gave 40-50% chance the chips would ever come

Also, I was sure the difficulty would be high at this time - I am a bit surprised it is quite low now

Cheers,
Tom
