Good to see more of you have woken up and realized the shit we are in. But then I have been bitchin and moaning and PM'ing bizwoo, and have been ignored, for 3 weeks already. I also recall people in this thread saying that I'm hilarious and to chill the fuck out. Hope it all works out, but I think it's too late now. You snooze, you loose.

Good NewsBG1 refund was finally received. I am sending the list for GB1 refunds to John K now for him to start asap refunding the buyers. As I mentioned before we will not be held responsible for wrong btc addresses in the list, etc.

I do NOT let myself get fucked by ANYONE and NO-ONE. You on the other hand seem to take it without Vaseline from BFL, Avalon etc, and are very CHILLED OUT about it. Not my style. In my country we call people like that "Corno Manso". I'll PM you a translation if you like as this is already OT. Cheers.

Cheers. ok let me 1st apologize for escalating the tone of this. there really is no reason for us to be directing anger/frustration toward each other, including toward bizwoo or johnk. my thought about all this is that it is an investment. i equate investments with gambling. some opportunities seemingly have better odds than others. but they all have the chance to fail. no one wants to be the one that is in the percentage that fails or loses money. but by putting your money into this or any opportunity you are thereby agreeing that should this opportunity fail you are "ok" with that. that could mean less return that what you put in or a total loss of your investment.

Hi, mys answer within lines in blue. Cheers. I want to buy 64 chips, and have them assembled, but first I have a couple of questions:
1. If Avalon goes all Butterfly Labs on us, is there a way to get a refund from them? A. No as far as I know.
May I remind everyone that we all went into this knowing that if Yifu fucked us over, there was no known way to get a refund? All the stress and worries of the last couple of weeks could have been avoided if everyone was just grateful that there was a way to get a refund. I think I'll take my family out for dinner with the money. Some nice sushi, or maybe a juicy medium-rare steak...

I confirm that the address below belongs to me, and I'll process the refund ASAP when I have 1-2 hours in hand. (probably tonight) I submitted the refund request about 3-4 times, and finally changed the refund address when Avalon wasn't doing anything after 1 week. Hopefully we can get this settled soon... Phew..!! I think we just made it. According to this post, the refund request was made on the 17th but received chips today. Good call on changing the wallet address by John K. Seems the other one was being auto rejected for some reason Now the big job of refunding all the ~108 GB buyers 1 by 1 If anyone deserves the fees here it's John K.

Well, I think it is done using a simple script - just matter of checking if all data is correct Script like: bitcoind walletpassphrase ... bitcoind sendtoaddress <address1> 5.45 bitcoind sendtoaddress <address2> 7.45 bitcoind sendtoaddress <address3> 8.45 etc... You can use excel to generate this script from the list of buyers in 5 minutes However, JohnK does deserve the fee, for his integrity - he keeps 100k$ in his wallet and he sends it back to us Cheers, Tom

Garr255 recieved a refund from Avalon on 9/11/13, which was two days before it was supposedly requested. I have inquired in that group buy thread what that refund was for with no answer. Garr has logged on multiple times in the past couple days with no posts. I hope I'm wrong, but starting to look fishy. https://blockchain.info/tx/61da257b9ee2547c953ed2c7a4fa38186791bc8d633b4636c20647c0fa0ed4baHe transferred it to another address where it's sitting now.

I use the sendmany command. This puts the entire refund in 1 transaction. I don't know how to make Excel emit a ready to go command, I still do a bit of hand editing.
