I'm glad SB posted an update, thanks for that. I was worried he had disappeared. Finally some clarity (I hope).

I heard some people were preparing a request for legal measures, or a lawsuit of some sort. What's the status of that? And who are in?

It's kind of vague to me how many people are still waiting for their refunds. Is there a list?

Thanks for that spreadsheet.  It looks like we have:

Orders shipped up to ~ 490k

Batch 1, chip position:  660k
Batch 2, chip position:  670k
Batch 3, chip position:  690k
Batch 4, chip position:  770k
Batch 5, chip position:  840k
Batch 6, chip position:  ?

Looks like Batch 1-3 should come together in the next couple of days? (hoping...)

I hate to burst your bubble, but orders are shipped up to about 260k, according to the spreadsheet.

Case work update:
- Power distribution and control PCB expected to be completed by early next week. Will support both Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone Black.
- Mechanical design is essentially complete, just need to complete part drawings and fire off to Steamboat

Still no price estimate, as this will depend on the quantity of parts ordered.

Changes since last design:
- 15 K16s per enclosure necessitated by a space added for an ATX PSU
- Ethernet connector added which will allow direct connection to the Raspberry Pi or Beaglebone Black for standalone operation
- Power distribution and control PCB will have both Molex and terminal strip connections for power

Case design could easily be adapted to support other PCBs (i.e. Bitburners)

Can you give us a rough price range so we'll know what we're looking at? Looks really good man!

Now for the million dollar question: Any updates from Avalon on your end Steamboat? Tracking number/shipment notifications for any of the batches?
Not as of yet. The moment we receive word from Avalon we will pass it on.
So delivery time has passed on batch #1 and you're going to wait until something happens? Please inquire why said delivery time isn't followed up on.

Batch #1 should be arriving soon now!

Excitement all over.

We're not ready to push the button yet, the h/w is still being finalised.

Let's just hope Avalon actually delivers.

Just mail steamboat if you have questions. He's probably too busy atm to read all the posts on here. Don't know if he posted his e-mail her before, so I won't post it here, but the people who already ordered chips do have it.

Maybe I'm too far ahead, but does anybody know how to get these units working once we get them? I mean, I have CGminer running and all, but I don't really know how to apply BKKCoins firmware for the Klondike project to CGminer under Ubuntu 12.04.2 LTS. Is there some how-to available somewhere?

Have u thought about having them hosted?

I have, but decided I want to host them myself.

I'm mining on my iMac while waiting for my ASIC miner. Get ~80Mh/s. Not worth it at all but still good fun.

BTC isn't stable enough to say. But from instinct I'd say yes.
