They don't appear to be replying to emails either...
Sent one last month got a reply within 2 days. This month its been 2 weeks and nothing.
Not looking good.

Received a mail Tuesday stating delivery estimated in 3 weeks... That makes the date 22nd April for a week 5 2014 unit.

Hold on... Tuesday was April 1st... Damn. I really hope this isn't some sick Swiss joke!

I honestly don't think these guys have gone into the Crypto exchange/mining game to rip us off, given the features their site offers (apart from the security). It looks like a labour of love...

The one thing they may put them off, is all the trolling and 'death' threats... And to be honest I wouldn't blame them.
Money has a nasty habit of bring out the worst in humans.

They most definitely have been naive, but I would say that also goes for a lot of people in this forum.
Rule No.1 in risky ventures don't bet the farm, you only have your own greed to blame.

BTW an engineering colleague of mine resigned yesterday...
He decided to leave his job on account of the fact he had made enough BTC... I only wish I'd listen to him in 2010...

We are in the very early days of something wonderful... So chill, and give these guys some more time.

Funny guy... Pre-order... Which year are you expecting it to be delivered in...

I shall not be doing a 3rd pre-order...

Hello Some days ago i asked about when i'll be supposed to get my desk and my rig and i get an answer 5 days after.

On my order status it's written february week 5 and they say i'll get them at the end of april (week 18 of 2014)

So i'll wait for that.

If have shipping on march week 1, they told me delivery will be end of april too (week 18 of 2014).

My order is January week 5.... 2014 last time I looked. 12 weeks late so far...
This is the life of crypto miner.

I give up trying to buy the larger hashing rigs. They look a better RoI, but become door stops after an 8 month delivery timeline.
Clearly these guy are not looking to make a long term business out of this venture.

8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC real-time price tags on: December 01, 2013, 10:16:35 AM
Bought a miner on Friday, the company gave me a URL to the exchange ticker they use for pricing, it allowed me to decide when to buy... It was varying +- $60 at the time... Never had to buy anything that way before! That's really going to be a problem for most people.
9  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: Linux mining distro for the Raspberry PI - MinePeon on: October 19, 2013, 12:25:46 PM
I have this hub on order from ebay.co.uk seller orico_pc:
ORICO 10-Port Aluminium USB3.0 Powered Hub

Ordered on 2013-07-16, before I'd done more research to know that USB3 may have problems with cgminer / Rasp Pi.  I'll let you know if it works with MinePeon.
PI and USB3 hubs don't work... Its USB 2 only with the Pi and you need to buy a decent one... None of those 10 port $6 on eBay jobs.
10  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Large USB Hub with Raspberry Pi and USB Block Erupters? on: October 19, 2013, 12:19:00 PM
I haven't used a R-pi - but my home setup has 2 "normal" powered hubs (2.0 Amp) with 4 block eruptors on each.  Hum-ing away fro over 36 hours now.  No problem.

Cool, thanks for sharing.

In case anyone else is interested, the hubs I'm using where I can get 5 or 6 usb block eruptors running with raspberry pi are these ones (d-link 7 port DUB-H7): http://amzn.com/B00008VFAF

It'll do 6 without a fan, or 5 with a fan. Specifically, I'm using this fan: http://amzn.com/B003XN24GY
I'm running 12 on a Pi with 2 D-Link 7port powered hub I use the 7th port for a fan, seeing 4Gh/s with no issues.
I have tried adding 13th... It appeared in the cgminer list, but was erroring. Not sure if its power or the PI's USB bandwidth. Anyone know how much bandwidth each of these erupters takes?
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to use my CPU and my GPU together with CGMINER on: May 27, 2013, 08:48:36 PM
Hi there... Just setup a Raspberry Pi using Minepeon to act as a hub for an ASIC (which I'm waiting for)

I heard that the CPU can be setup with CGminer as a test connect.

Have trouble working out how to configure it, as its not obvious from the CGminer usage manual.

Any help gratefully appreciated.
Thanks
