1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin-QT sent transaction not working or just delay on: November 19, 2013, 12:22:43 PM
Ok, thank you for the clear explenation.

I was thinking it would appear unconfirmed int the blockchain immediatly and then it would wait to get processed
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Bitcoin-QT sent transaction not working or just delay on: November 19, 2013, 11:58:08 AM
Hi, Just a little technical question about Bitcoin-QT,

I noticed when I send some coins to gox or bitstamp, that the transaction is only locally in my bitcoin-qt.
There is no transaction showing up in the blockchain. (even not after a night.)

I checked in qt and my fee is zero for this moment (did not know this option)

My question is, is there something broke at my side, and should a transaction that sent some coins appear a immediatly or a few minutes later unconfirmed  in the blockchain? And maybe gets confirmed a few hours later

Or does my bitcoin-qt have to wait on the transaction delay and can only send the transaction to the blockchain after a few hours / days and appears only after a few hours / days in the blockchain?

How exactly can a miner decide to process a transacion or not? is it a setting or is this setting managed by the mining pools and not by the individual miners?

5  Economy / Speculation / Bitcoin calculator with historical data on: November 03, 2013, 10:31:49 AM
Hi,
is there somewhere a calculator or spreadsheet available so you can calculate the profit you made with the miner(s) you already have?

for example, in juni I purchased 20 USB erupters @ 0.5btc each, or at 75 euro each,
they have mined since then, what is my profit made with them.? (calculation with the known difficulties)

Is there a calculator that calculates historical profit and not only expected profit?

I'll try tomorrow further with another PSU,

switch clock gives: Chip: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Or do I need to set 1.2V on al channels first?

when the blades sitch over to other proxy (same moment they both switch) I see this:
2013-09-05 01:38:50,571 INFO proxy client_service.handle_event # New job 27094 for prevhash bc0f8289, clean_jobs=False

Not hashing @ full speed

today I received 2 blades,
But whatever I try, they re not hashing @ full speed and average around 6000 Mhash

I Measured voltage on PSU: 11.5 - 11.7V,
tested with one blade: same result
PSU = OCZ 700W
the voltage measured on the 2r2 resistor  = +/- 1.06 - 1.065V
I have 2 stratum proxys on 2 PC's and the blades change server every x seconds it seems. If I refresh I see that they are using the other proxy a lot of the time. this is not normal I assume? Is it possible a problem with internal networking?

when the blades swith over to the other proxy I see this: 013-09-05 01:32:50,571 INFO proxy client_service.handle_event # New job 27024 fr prevhash bc0f8289, clean_jobs=False

I can't find the code of the expedition , I find it on the page orders?

not done yet with all

Hi yxt, would it be a good idea to have some general daily status update on the site or in this thread?
like:

processing order number #xxx
processed and sent out to DHL until order #zzz
completed tracking nrs until order #yyy
workload que to do = ~#orders

I think it would save you a lot of mails & questions

Maybe its a good idea to get every vitcim identified before green files a complaint. They want names and ID's , not just forum nicknames.

I assume it will be possible with the Bitcoin message averybody should have sent? right?

15  Other / Meta / Re: Verify ID of marketplace sellers and groupbuy owners on: July 27, 2013, 12:06:01 PM
I agree ID and cellphone verification should be mandatory for groupbuy otherwise escrow.

indeed, but cellphone via subscription, no via prepay, because I could buy one and throw away...

In the end the group buys are announced thru the forum,
so forum owner is for a part responsable what happens there, if there is fraud going on, they have to do everything powwible to stop this.
16  Other / Meta / Verify ID of marketplace sellers and groupbuy owners on: July 27, 2013, 11:17:22 AM
I want to do a proposal , to help stop fraude & scamming with bitcoin via this forum.

I would like to propose that every forum user that wants to organise a group buy, or wants to sell in the marketplace, need to have his ID verified by the forum owner before he can start a group buy or offer something in the market.

With a verified ID i mean drivers license, ID card, 3 named invoices, Bank accounts,...
pretty like Gox asks to verify and ID.

Personally I find the forum owner shares responsability in scam or fraud cases that go via the forum.

Is it possible to have something like this implemented on very short notice?

I have the feeling that a lot of group buy's of mining machines shares maybe also scam, and also some companies that offer mining machines but don't even succeed in having a valid address or VAT number on their website.

If they have ads here, or announcments, please verify them!

Is this something where the forum owner want to work on? Offcourse this needs some resources, but it would be good for the whole BTC community

it seems that vdragon owns or owned an avalon,
maybe we can trace back via this way?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=154009.msg1635436#msg1635436

I assume the avalon owners are pretty limited and the company maybe can help tracing

Or via Pool owners, they maybe record ip addresses

But before he start, he should at least payed and contacted yxt?
is in't possible idd to drive that distance in one day...
He can take laptop with him or smartphone and make payment on the site. In fact, I would do that. Payment confirmation would be the shortest element of the whole trip.

thats correct, but if you want to drive 2k km for an appointment, wouldnt you at least contact the one u are visiting?

in fact the drive would be possible with 2 drivers, its 1000km one way (germany to Szeged), with one driver you can't

anyway, hope to hear from him soon and if all ok, there will be no further delays as the price per piece is dropping...
