The best advice I can give you is to always read the whole of the OP of a thread before posting. You'll find out there are two reasons why you are asking in the wrong place. If you have a look around you'll find others that are helping people in your situation.

thanks sir Smiley for you advice I noted that Smiley and i'll do that Smiley

if you have 80 sMerit to give wahaha I need 8 sMerit I keep on posting stuffs with value but none in the forum is looking at it they more lok on the questions about "if you have 1 btc what will you do?"
If no one noticing your posts, how you got those 2 merit points ? https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=merit;u=1263843

You cannot stop people from showing interests in topics they like. If you want to increase your chances of getting merits, you should actually post on those topics to get "noticed".

I rather post important and helpful things than keep posting and spamming the system with repeated post it's the best thing about merit system you need to work for rank but the disadvantage is most valuable post was unheard Smiley just thinking positive Smiley

9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Monero is More anonymous than Bitcoin on: February 02, 2018, 11:09:10 AM
Monero is more Private and Safe than Bitcoin

as what you can see and hear that bitcoin transactions are trace and tracked online using web trackers and leak in the web. If you wanna read about why bitcoin is pseudonymous just folow this thread: Bitcoin Transaction is PSEUDONYMOUS.

and right now we will talk about what other alternative to bitcoin that is more private and really anonymous and can provide the high need of privacy and security.

Introducing MONERO

Before we start why monero is more secure than bitcoin let;s understand:

What is Monero?

Unlike other cryptocurrencies including bitcoin and ethereum that has transparent blockchain meaning that transactions are traceable and can be track the origin of the transaction. But monero uses cryptography to shield and receiving addresses as well as transacted amount.

The Kovri Project, currently in development, will route and encrypt transactions via I2P Invisible Internet Project nodes. This will obfuscate a transactor's IP address and provide further protection against network monitoring.

Monero also provides what they called Ring signatures this make sure that all done transaction that are made cannot be tied back to a specific user or person.Effectively making it impossible for anyone to conclusively prove that the transaction came from you.

So what makes monero more secure??

Monero uses different techniques and methods in achieving privacy and security these are ring signatures, Ring Confidential transactions, and stealth addresses.

Ring signatures hides all informations about the sender, using a method where a group of users sign the transaction. This obscures who the actual sender was.

RingCT which stands for Ring Confidential Transactions, user1 can send user2 some Monero, and the only people that will ever know the amount sent will be user1 and user2. Although the transaction is visible on the blockchain, there is no way to determine the money transacted.

Stealth Addresses which adds privacy and security to the receiver of a transaction. Stealth addresses use ‘spend keys’ to obscure the receiver’s address. A sender is required to generate a spend key address for the receiver and send the Monero through this address. A ‘view key’ is then used by the receiver to display incoming transactions. This method means that while a transaction is recorded on the blockchain, only the sender and the receiver can determine where the payment was actually sent.

This are some features of Monero(XMR) I know that can provide more privacy and security than bitcoin if you wanna achieve more security and anonymity you can look for this coin and try it out so please leave a comment if you have known crypto that can provide such privacy and security.

How much can you pay to 1 MERIT?

I agree with the MERIT system.

But I do not want to spend time for posting quality.
Because I am busy .
How much can you pay for 1 MERIT who are busy and want to  rank up?

My suggestion is to create MERITcoin with MERIT market.
MERITcoin collects money with ICO.
That money can be used to fund the BITCOIN FORUM.
People who need MERIT at BITCOIN FORUM should buy MERITcoin.
This will solve the MERIT problem.

I think that buying merit points in too much injustice for low ranks that don't have money to buy for t if the merit score will be pay then a newbie can reach the highest rank that he/she wants in just a day without a need of posting quality stuffs I think you should not encourage people to do this buying merit points to get high rank. All people that are buying merit points should be banned from the forum forever. You don't deserve the rank you get if you just buy your merit score. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Bitcoin Transaction are not Private as What you Think

First of all I would like to say that some of you might already know about it.If you already knew about this please share your thoughts and idea about this I just like help new members and new to crypto world regarding with this topic. Thanks have a good time reading about this.

The main reason I think why people are using bitcoin in the most of their transaction was to provide safety and efficiency with their transactions,Many company and online stores are now accepting bitcoin as payment with their product. But people think that using bitcoins as their preferred payment option online gives them extra layer of security, privacy and anonymity. But it's actually not to understand why bitcoin transaction was not really anonymous as what we think let's first understand how bitcoin transaction work.

How Bitcoin transaction work?
Most importantly, the Bitcoin protocol effectively consist of a series of transactions. These transactions are basically a package of different kinds of data, among which are transaction inputs and then the transaction outputs

transaction inputs - bitcoin address where bitcoin transaction from and can be use using a private key associated with that address. In short the sender.
transaction outputs -  bitcoin address where bitcoin transaction send to in other words the receiver.

What makes bitcoin anonymous?

the reason why bitcoin is anonymous unlike banks and many payment providers, Bitcoin are not tied to the identity of users on a protocol level. Anyone can create a new and completely random Bitcoin address at any time, without the need of the users personal information such as name and addresses.

Bitcoin transaction data is transmitted and forwarded by nodes to a random set of nodes on the peer-to-peer network.

WHY Bitcoin Transaction is not Anonymous??

Security tend to call bitcoin transaction as pseudonymous privacy.

Steven Goldfeder of Princeton University and other people says that information can be leak during normal purchase online and make a link individuals with the bitcoin transactions they make even the users use additional privacy protections.

Web trackers and cookies a small pieces of code embedded into the website back-end server that send the information to the 3rd parties about the action and way of people using the website. Most common web trackers send information to Google,Facebook and others to track the site usage, the purchase value, browsing habits and other means. But unfortunately some of these trackers can send personally identifiable and traceable information including your name, addresses and personal emails. by this way information and personal data about the particular transactions was leak onto the web. Where law enforcement agencies and malicious users can easily and readily to collect and analyze it.

They also study how web trackers expose and leak information from each of these sites during purchases. "We find that at least 53/130 of merchants leak payment information to a total of least 40 third parties, most frequently from shipping cart pages," say Goldfeder and co.

The information leakage is intentional for the use of advertising and analytics, but researchers says " we find that merchant have far more serious information leaks that directly reveal the exact transaction on the blockchain to dozens of trackers" they say.

that is the bad news for the users that are hoping to keep their transaction anonymous. But even when the exact transact is hidden it's still possible to make a leak when the leak includes the amount and time of the purchases.

All this will come as depressing news to people hoping to preserve their privacy online.
But it will also be music to the ears of law enforcement agencies hoping to track nefarious activities. “Like virtually all deanonymization attacks on cryptocurrencies, our techniques could be used to build forensic tools for law enforcement use,” admit Goldfeder and co.

And like all deanonymization techniques, that will have advantages and disadvantages.

it doesn't sound right.
You can't compare LN with XRP and ETH transaction speed.
But the links together with the construct of the OP are very useful to others who want to learn more about the Lightning Network.

You earn a merit.

I don't compare LN with XRP and ETH I just put a perspective and a comparison with the transaction speed of BITCOIN with other crypto
13  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why all coins are going down..? on: February 02, 2018, 02:42:10 AM
I think the reason why some or most of altcoins price are going down because the price of bitcoin is also going down I think they have this connection in the market because we often exchange alts over bitcoin so if bitcoin price goes down this can affect the price of particular altcoin.

15  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can we all please accept.. on: February 01, 2018, 01:40:25 PM
Accept the fact that most of governments will oppose crypto currency. Obviously there are some countries who have decided to embrace the future, but let's face it, most of governments will stand against. Who likes their currency to be weaken? Every time a stupid country opposes bitcoin, there is so much fud and a great price drop.

China bans mining

South Korea will not ban crypto but obviously does not welcome it

India banning crypto

I fully expected this resistance from governments.

Don't be surprised if more countries come out against bitcoin

If we just accept the rules of the government in opposing the use of cryptocurrency then we can't have the freedom to use it because only the people can change the government because at the end we are the government. We have the power to change the look of government about bitcoin because bitcoin offers different ways to have financial freedom. we just need to resist about the look of government about cryptos.

for those wanting to learn beyong the promotional "cheap, instant, unlimited" buzzwords and find out about the critical parts that dont meet the promotional promises..

another thread (link below) highlights some limitations/issues.
ofcourse some people in the thread try defending/deflecting the issues to keep the hype of empty promises alive, but its worth knowing the limitations aswell
