Latest quote from Mt.Gox.

?

Strange, but I'm not getting the same issue as you. The AlternaPost price refreshes only ever 30 seconds, so that may be the problem for you.

Why not use jquery instead of a meta refresh?

I went with a meta refresh because I felt that that would make the site more accessible. Do you think some would have problems with it?

Try it out and bookmark it! Smiley

It's also optimized for mobile devices.
4  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-06-11 BitBitCoins - Why Bitcoin exchange rate dropped slightly on: June 11, 2013, 08:42:36 PM
This article states that enthusiasm for bitcoins dropped with the introduction of other currencies like e-gold. e-gold, which started in 1996. And was shut down in 2009. Yup.

Fascinating exchange. Thanks for the translation!

I am a good person and i live my life to help people. I have even chosen a job based on my wishes to help people, over selfish monetry concerns.

We are both the same. You do not belive in millions of Gods and deities such as Aphrodite, Osiris and Thor. I have simply gone one god further than you.

Calling me "Wicked" demonstrates how your religeon can make a good person do bad things. It is also not very Christian of you.

Doctor the problem is you think that you are not wicked, you think that doing good things is good enough. When I was an athiest I thought the same things. The truth is I am wicked also, every single person is wicked, the only difference is I have Jesus that forgives and covers my wickedness, which through him I have eternal life and am made righteous before the creator of the universe.

You too can make that choice.

But wait, your quote said "none of the wicked shall understand". How can you possibly understand then?

Does anyone have a specific source for this claim?

I tried it once. I didn't find anything about the world trade center towers, but I did find the word gullible in there a few thousand times.
9  Economy / Service Announcements / Introducing AlternaPost.com: Bitcoin news, prices, and charts all on one page! on: June 11, 2013, 12:47:26 AM
Hi everyone!

I'd like to introduce a new bitcoin news and information website: AlternaPost.com. It's a website that provides you with daily bitcoin news from around the web, as well as information such as exchange rates for various currencies! There's also other information such as charts and virtual currencies on Twitter, and I'm hoping to add lots of more features to the front page, such as more exchange rates and market capitalizations for virtual currencies.

Basically, I'm hoping to make AlternaPost your go-to website for daily virtual currency information and updates.

What do you guys think? AlternaPost is definitely still in beta, so I'll be glad to hear any suggestions you have!

you almost have enough posts for me to scam you.  Wink

With this guy's trust count, this is probably the most honest thing he's ever said.
11  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: It's stupid that newbies must make 5 posts and browse for 4 hours. Here's why on: June 05, 2013, 06:13:48 PM
I have to assume that they're doing this because they're trying to cut down on spam, but you can still have a bot write 5 generic posts and refresh the page regularly for 4 hours.
12  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling a small amount of BTC 5 coin total to sell on: June 05, 2013, 06:11:57 PM
Wow, that's so cool how you decide to build up your reputation by demanding that other people give you hundreds and hundreds of dollars before you do anything. I can totally see how you're going to follow through and send the bitcoins, given that you must care a lot about increasing the trustworthiness of your 1 post account. I'm sure you're not going to just run with the money, then create another 1 post account here to scam people again.

I also have no suspicion whatsoever as to why you can't just sell your bitcoins at $122 each at Mt.Gox, then withdraw your money through one of many methods, giving yourself at least an extra one thousand dollars.
13  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Future value of bitcoin on: June 05, 2013, 06:02:05 PM
I think that the current coins won't be around for very long as better coins emerge, but I'm certain there is a very positive future for virtual currencies in general.
