Why not use jquery instead of a meta refresh?

Why not use jquery instead of a meta refresh?

I went with a meta refresh because I felt that that would make the site more accessible. Do you think some would have problems with it?

Strange, but I'm not getting the same issue as you. The AlternaPost price refreshes only ever 30 seconds, so that may be the problem for you.
