1  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin for “Fake Rich”? on: December 21, 2020, 05:50:01 AM
While I do know many “Bitcoin evangelists” will probably hate me for the words above, but don’t you think that Bitcoin intentionally or unintentionally became the new asset for the “fake rich”?
I don't know if I can fully agree with your point, but I do agree with the statement that Bitcoin is for "fake rich".
As far as I know most of bitcoin is being held by whales and makes sense - fees are not as valuable for them, you make enormous amount of money and its probably only 1-10% of your portfolio in bitcoin while the other parts are in way lower risk area.
People who invest >50% of their holdings into bitcoin are trying to gamble and get money fast which isn't necessarily will lead to wealth, because at the end of the day its still gambling
2  Economy / Economics / Re: Are the Central Banks starting to worry about the public's perception? on: November 05, 2020, 03:21:50 AM
I believe deep inside them, those people behind the Central Banks, they know that "the cat is out of the bag". Billions and billions of the paper money they print will shift into sound money, Bitcoin.

Pretty sure you're right. They have to get worried about people's opinion more, otherwise they'll lose audience.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: btc vs ethereum on: October 14, 2020, 01:26:40 PM
BTC vs ETH = decentralized vs centralized
Satoshi has disappeared, while Vitalik is still behind ETH. And I'm confused Huh why smartcontract-based DeFi tokens dare to call themself decentralized while tokens can be locked at any time and even renewed by the developer as in the case of the kucoin hack.
Strongly disagree with this statement. Bitcoin is much more centralized because of China taking over most of bitcoin mining farms.
Moreover, there are no updates for bitcoin which can't be said about eth - and this is crucial in long term.
4  Economy / Economics / Re: get ready guys for this soon on: September 17, 2020, 08:52:24 AM
there will be big british pound falling.
Next currenies wich will be gone for ever:
AUD,CAD,RUSSIAN RUBLES,UKRAINE CURRENY , NORWAY ,SWEDEN,
There will be few players left only CHINA AND EUR AND USD.
...and what is your point based on exactly?
Even if you have any "inside" information - you didn't mention any.
Neither I can see any official/non-official rumors or articles you linked.
No explanation - no point in discussion, its pure speculation
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH Gas transactions price is about to hit 300 on: September 01, 2020, 06:16:34 AM
I personally would move my funds to dogecoin or any other project Inorder to save costs especially when transferring from an exchange. The transaction fee for ethereum is way too high and I would rather wait for the transaction fee to drop than send on 300gwei. That's over $10, and it's not convenient for me. I wish this issue with ethereum could be resolved sooner.
So you did move your funds to dogecoin or didn't you have eth in the first place?
I don't see how this issue could be solved at the moment at all, we managed to struggle through btc's high fees and long ass transactions for years.
Now we witness this eth boom for several months and whining already - that is not fair. Moreover, eth is going to update itself to eth2.0 one day, but there won't be btc2.0 ever again for comparison.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is very excited at the moment. on: August 22, 2020, 05:46:21 AM
After much speculation the value of bitcoin has been $12,000. Bitcoin is currently priced at $12,000. Bitcoin has actually been able to show that bitcoin is the king of the crypto world. As the price of bitcoin has risen, so have the prices of other cryptocurrencies. Ethereum, Litecoin etc coin prices have risen. What is going to happen in the market. What do you think about all this cryptocurrency? Let's discuss in detail.
Why is there a bitcoin discussion in altcoin discussion board in the first place?
Anyway, I don't think that current (or rather previous) bull run was not driven by bitcoin, but was by eth/defi.
Its quite hard to tell, because we can't keep real track of who drives who even with all news sources and charts in the world.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some people stop their crypto project? on: August 10, 2020, 03:23:27 PM
In a short while that I have been in cryptocurrency I have seen so many crypto project and fantastic budget and planned you see that some of them still left the project unfinished some even do stop the crypto project without any pre_information about the sudden change of plans concerning the particular project so what do you think about the crypto project that have been suspended half way , what do you think that should be done for this kind of the attitude of crypto developer's concerning crypto project abandoned project.
First of all, the most obvious one - you make up a magical project, get the investors in it, you run away and take all the profit short term sort of.
Second option ,not so obvious - you make up a magical project, get the investors in it, developing and marketing is not so magical in reality tho, investors quit and so does the project leader.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Day Trading or Long-term Hodl? on: July 21, 2020, 11:21:46 PM
I think it depends upon your decisions. You can day trade and earn, also you can keep a potential coin and hodl it for future use. Both methods has made several investors and traders earn so much. However, long term trading is risky and you have to be very patient. Because the duration might be too long for you to earn.
Funny enough, crypto market is really risky for long term investments and more safe for day trading.
On the other hand stock market is the complete opposite
9  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: OWNR wallet. Buy, exchange and store crypto. Licensed service. on: July 18, 2020, 03:27:47 PM

10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN to the MOON on: July 08, 2020, 03:23:21 PM
Most coins are green already. I don't know if this is a bullrun sign but its definitely something that you can't rely on. If my crystal ball sees it correctly, the signs could burn us if you buy the fav altcoin you have. I prefer to just buy the ADA but not anything else. I can smell the money with ADA so its one that I vet on but not any altcoins right now.
I hope your crystal ball isn't lying dude
However, I do think that investing in just one coin isn't good strategy in long term
11  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US economy suddenly recovering? on: June 30, 2020, 12:37:02 PM
It was obvious that in the long run we would have seen the US economy recover, but honestly I wasn’t expecting US economy to recover so fast, or is this just another false positive for us?. I’m referring to the article posted by CNBC where they have shown stats which proves that the US economy has started recovering despite many states yet being in lockdown. What are your thoughts on this, will the US economy recover faster than what we had anticipated?.
Source:
https://www.cnbc.com/2020/06/28/here-are-five-charts-illustrating-the-us-economic-recovery-amid-the-coronavirus-pandemic.html
It didn't recover really, we still will experience aftermath of corona and quarantine effects on our economy.
However, temporarily we got rid of some of main problems, I wonder if it will worth it after all
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XRP Price to $14 - Any thoughts? on: June 25, 2020, 07:03:27 PM
wait until the altcoin season occurs, and we see Big Projects like Ripple going where the price will be,
don't set target at $ 14 first, but $ 5 is the real target
gentlemen are we talking about same xrp ripple coin?
Its all-time XRP-USD chart shows nothing but bear run. Continuously for 2 years.
Literally it peaks once in X months and each peak is lower than the last one.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I wrong or right? on: June 08, 2020, 12:27:17 PM
If altcoins aren't dependants on Bitcoin price or value one altcoin would have over throne Bitcoin, if it was a different story that altcoins don't rely on Bitcoin bullrun I believe Bitcoin won't be the 1st today, am I wrong or right?
At some point, you will always wonder about that. Very possible in the long run, but definitely not today, specially that bitcoin is still on top for years to come!
Exactly, people against altcoins do always forget how much time it took for bitcoin to climb that price.
Meanwhile most of alts are showing better results already and growing tempo, but most of us are staying ignorant to this
14  Economy / Economics / Re: If Recession Kicks In, How Will Bitcoin Perform? on: June 03, 2020, 04:29:38 PM
At the time of its appearance btc was something new and unprecedented but now the maximum that can we hope for is growth due to a lot of new users who will want to buy a ticket to the moon in the middle of all this depressive crisis.
If this does not happen, then Yes, BTC will go down as well as the rest of the market because people will not have money and absolutely will not want to try to make them on risky investments (and for most people, cryptocurrencies are just risky investments)
I don't think bitcoin will fall immediately and/or significantly, because it is the safe haven for a lot of people from developing countries.
So at the point when economy of developed country will be in danger - btc will be supported with money from poorer people out there.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: May 31, 2020, 09:29:31 AM
Bitcoin dominance is above 65% which is something unusual since Altcoins started getting more interest from investors. It also seems that this percentage is increasing steadily for quite some time now. This is not surprising since Bitcoin was the most profitable coin in 2019 and people don't take the risk investing in altcoins anymore, they realized that Bitcoin is less risky as the price almost always eventually recover afterwards when it comes to BTC.
So what  to do you think? Are altcoin getting boycotted, giving Bitcoin an increasing dominance from now on?
Imo you miss one important thing - even tho bitcoin dominance is growing, it doesn't mean altcoins are not growing in general.
It is a fair race and alts are trying to keep up at this point, but I swear its only a matter of time when they will overtake the bitcoin
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Information about mobile wallet pls on: May 30, 2020, 11:30:18 PM
Some please recommend a reliable crypto mobile wallet that's very easy to operate for newbie like me, I only tried copay and mycelium wallet, thanks
coinomi for multiple crypto currency you want to stored.
Electrum also have mobile version that you can download in play store.
Are you only looking for bitcoin wallet because there are other wallet that can also be use for other coins such as ethereum and ethereum contract tokens.
I'd add enjin, exodus and maybe ownr wallet.
I like them and the electrum one simply because all of them have a pc version and its pretty easy to use as well as the mobile app
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockburn, A big Failure on: May 15, 2020, 04:30:05 PM
Well, for the time being, this project does look like a failure, because the price keeps on falling. however, I think the developers are still trying to keep developing this project, so whether or not it depends on each other's opinions. I myself am one of the participants who support the bounty of this project and expects greater development from this.
Even though I am not one of the bounty participants or investors in this project, I also hope that if this project can develop further because if Blockburn shows its seriousness in the development of MVP/its products, I am sure the price will rise even slowly. So bounty hunters can enjoy the fruits of their hard work promoting blockburn and investors can take profits.
yeah and this whole scheme is all about profiting for bounty hunters, investors and devs.
We need more projects for users and wide crypto adoption
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: May 06, 2020, 05:39:19 PM
its impossible to see crypto to go zero as you can see so many adoption already happening and only fake crypto will go to zero but BTC and other top crypto will stay forever and lead the blockchain technology
I can't believe it will actually go forever, but it will last for next 5 years at least.
Moreover I think cryptocurrencies are the future of global currencies and they will remain in the market, but we can't know which one will be The one
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto on older systems (DOS, BASIC, etc...) on: April 29, 2020, 08:04:33 PM
The newer technologies imo is even easier to access and more convenient to use, even for people living in third world countries than this older models. I believe it's fallacious to think that outdated systems would be more convenient for people. For example it costs nothing to be connected on the bitcoin blockchain network, you only need a smartphone, data and a bitcoin wallet.
I would add that older technologies are way less effective in general. So even a person from third world country with poor pc setup better be mining newer coins instead of older systems in order to get more profit
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which projects do you hold? Which ones do you believe in? on: April 20, 2020, 12:11:24 PM
BTC ETH EOS
TEZOS BAT   Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes ::)and many others
The crisis will pass and we will return to the moon Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin
Agreed - now is the dip time for 90% of both crypto and stocks.
so it depends on your choice whether you're going to gain 10% of profit or 100% profit in couple years
