I'd like to know more about marketplaces' processes. How goes the payment? Is there a possibility to track the package?
There are several payment options, but I chose the most suitable one for myself. The main point is that you don’t transfer the currency immediately to the seller, but create a smart contract. You throw a crypt on a smart contract, it is stored there until the moment you receive the goods, as soon as you confirm receipt - the crypt will be sent to the seller. If we talk about tracking, both sides are watching the movement of goods and the release of funds to the seller. This payment system reminds me of escrow-deals. Three parties take part in such a transaction: the seller, the escrow service and the buyer. But the essence is the same, the money is finally transferred to the seller’s account only upon confirmation of receipt of the goods. As for me, it makes no sense to bother with the bank, MT and so easy payment. You have to pay fees for the escrow, that's not always an option. Smart contracts are friendlier in this point. |

Главное это не сумма, а ваша осведомленность о проекте. А вообще да, сумму лучше брать небольшую Инвестить что не жалко, в принципе рынок пказывает сыгналы выздоровления, может быть что проинвестированный сегодняшний долар через год будет 3 стоить.
Согласен, всегда нужно инвестировать то, что не жалко и не будет сильно опустошать кошелке Никогда не нужно инвестировать больше, чем можешь себе позволить, потому что такие действия могут сыграть злую шутку Ясно подойти к своим возможностям, действительно, не переоценить себя. А то потом обернется не очень. |

Заказала себе недавно леджер, но только старую версию, пока они есть в продаже надо брать, так как скоро могут исчезнуть и останется только новая более дорогая модель, которая как я считаю более уязмива для взлома.
Так, а что за старая версия леджера? Какого года и по какой цене вы покупали? Можете скинуть фотку сюда в ветку? А дорогую модель я ещё даже не встречал. Думаю вот сейчас себе купить ещё один, так сказать запасной леджер приобрести. Вдруг первый украдут или потеряю. Будет ведь совсем печаль беда. А так, можно будет восстановить в любой момент и распоряжаться своими активами как хочешь. А у вас какой леджер? В целом довольны работой? |

I am well acquainted with the OpenBazaar marketplace ,and I think that it’s good because it’s a network for selling goods and services directly from one person to another, which works with Bitcoin and does NOT have any centralization controlling the platform’s functionality, so you take responsibility for your own activities within the network.

I think there is a need in having some sort of marketplace of any kind that will have no owners basically..
Picture a marketplace that is like eBay/Amazon but has no physical owners instead is built by people for people through crowdfunding. Is that achievable?
I guess it could, right?
I think it is not a good idea. We need somebody who will control platform: make updates, register new accounts, block cheaters ect. How will you give back money if you will have bad deliver? it could be self-moderated, for example. everything depends on users' activity that way, and they'd be able to regulate the platform by votings or smth like this. |

Well, how much you lost on the "Bitcoin's Black Friday"?
I decided to hodl since the middle of the year, was pretty tired of following this rigmarole. Now I'm sad to see the current rates.
I heard there's kinda insurance schemes for saving your assets, does anyone know more? Like everyone else, I'm waiting for Christmas gifts, but I already wanna get some cushion from these adventures.

When the rate is continuously dropping down and investors all over the world keep selling their tokens in the hope of not finding them out of funds, it's getting harder and harder to believe crypto has bright future.
What are the possible outcomes regarding the crisis, esp cryptocurrencies-wise and why they were actually invented for, namely, free exchange of funds with no borders and taxes, shops where you can pay without commissions and other things? We all saw a surge in ICO projects, each of which promised a real use of the crypto. Where are they now?
What are your thoughts and opinions on the future of crypto? Looking forward to hearing from you guys.
The market can behave absolutely unpredictable now. People can buy cryptocurrency because it is cheaper. By that again provoking unhealthy demand. |
