1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who wants to be a Bitcoin Millionaire?! on: November 06, 2017, 12:02:37 AM
Why are you just posting a link with so little info about it?  I'm scared to click it.
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why should people use Bitcoin? on: November 05, 2017, 11:53:41 PM
Bitcoin is the future of money, or so they say.

I would like to hear your opinions on Why should people use Bitcoin?

Not as many risks as traditional payment systems like paypal and very fast.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this SUDDEN price rise good for BTC? on: November 03, 2017, 08:16:28 PM
Yes.  It's very good for bitcoin.  Bitcoin will eventually crash most likely though.
4  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: So how much privacy do we really need? on: November 03, 2017, 08:05:29 PM
We need less anonymity to stop the bad guys imo.
5  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin have a good future. Why? on: November 03, 2017, 03:03:28 PM
Do you believe that Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Litecoin have a good future. Why?
Yes for bitcoin,  no for the others.  Bitcoin is used widely and will be used by even more soon!
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining with mobile device on: November 03, 2017, 02:54:16 PM
No never because it can't be profitable at all.
It is totally depend upon the hardware of the particular device. mobile devices are made up for only simple use for mining we need Hardware that is made specifically for mining.
I completely agree,  the only profitable miners are like computers.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: November 03, 2017, 01:37:47 PM

I guess the best answer to that question is of course a BIG NO! Granted, China is a big contributor for the rise and adoption of Bitcoin and they are primarily the country involved with Bitcoin mining due to very cheap electricity cost.

Now, the Chinese government has its own agenda and I think in the long run Bitcoin can be running against those agenda so they are now thinking of slowly disengaging and disconnecting their citizens away from the cryptocurrency platform.

I know that whatever China will decide on the impact can be heavy on the market and this is shown with the recent decision banning the ICO projects and the unconfirmed total ban of Bitcoin exchanges though it is still a rumor and nobody would want to confirm.

Can cryptocurrency still go on and have a very optimistic future even without China as part of the equation?
Yes,  and abandonment in China could actually help the rest of the world start to use it.
8  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mining with mobile device on: November 03, 2017, 01:08:31 PM
Is mining with mobile device a profitable venture today? I read a bit about this and learned that Monero maybe worth mining. then there's Electroneum as well. I wanted to know from other's experience.

One might ask why spend on buying phones. Instead get a PC. Thing is I have few old phones that I can't sell, I want to see possibility of getting some cost back before giving/throwing them away
Not profitable,   even if you think you're making a profit,  the battery will quickly deteriorate.
9  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bribing via bitcoin a good idea? on: November 03, 2017, 12:47:21 PM
With 1000 dollars each, it seems that bribing with bitcoin would be a good idea.  One USB stick will do the job with no third party required.
Simply put,  no.  While you can do it anonymously though mixers,  it's still not legal and a bad idea.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung galaxy s5 mining bitcoin? on: November 03, 2017, 12:30:31 AM
I just saw this on a blog. Indian based blog. How possible really is mining bitcoin through your mobile phone(samsung galaxy s5 to be specific).

From what i saw. It seems that the samsung company set the phones like those hardware miners. Theyve also stated that a 7 samsung galaxy s5 can mine faster than the i7 core gpu. If this is really a success it could really be a big help for us. We can easily buy some of this 2ndhand samsung phones and can easily be in the business
I doubt that this will actually work,  but thanks for the news!
11  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL QUESTION // US Congressional Candidate: Seeking Your Advice on: November 02, 2017, 07:48:41 PM
I am a Congressional Candidate who is supportive of Bitcoin (wow - $7,000!) and very supportive of blockchain technology (unlike other candidates who I am running against). I haven't announced that my campaign will accept donations through BitPay (although currently operational) because I want to make sure I hear from the Bitcoin community first. This being one of the most active communities that I have found so far, any help would be much appreciated.

I am Michael, btw. Hello and nice to e-meet you all.
Good luck with your journey and good idea to take bitcoin.
