1  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: [Closed]Avalon Chips - 0.081 BTC (Global+Escrow)-BATCH2 SECURED on: August 30, 2013, 01:37:25 PM
I am with marto on this one:
I want my chips sent to my assembler.
I do not want a refund.

can you explain why?

do you have a method and you will see ROI ?

do you know something that we do not know?

- or is more like curiosity... to see the PCB populated and up and running knowing that you will NEVER get your invested money back... and talking about profit is useless

Like scrub a lot, I want the miners I paid for.  I don't give a shit about so called "ROI"

If I can wait 13 months for butterfly labs, I can wait 3 months for this project.

If I had been worried about ROI I wouldn't have made $20k when the BTC price jumped up.

And yeah, some of us hardened miners do know something you don't ...

O.o

interesting... so it is something more like a hobby now:))

Ok

I don't think that we have to justify why we are doing this. If you decide to keep your placed orders it's up to you. Nobody should point fingers based on our reasons.

3  Local / Discutii Servicii / Re: BitcoinRomania.info vinde si cumpara Bitcoin in Romania on: July 24, 2013, 07:01:26 PM

Bafta

BkkCoins, What are you using under linux to compile the source for the pic? And can you try to make the hex under win also to see if there are diff?
Just curious if there will be significant differences between.

Best regards

I love self proclaimed EE's.  Where's my facepalm picture...

Enigma...
Please keep it real, My certification in EE and IT that i have can back up most of what i say.
If you can keep this discussion on topic it it will be beneficial for all of us. Just because you love yourself we do not need to know....

Anyway as BKK say-ed the board will have the clock "covered" and will be in the admissible range for EMI (in my opinion). And if indeed we will see that it does interfere with other equipments (ie not FCC compliant) one can always create a casing from aluminum with proper ventilation holes and just use GND on the Board and the case.
The case can also be very good in such a way that we can make the airflow go trough the fins of the radiator as we want and not let it take the easy way out.

Um.. What?  Given a 2 layers board and a 32Mhz oscillator that is routed all over the place, I think the FCC would not be so sure..

Enigma

For example take a ATX or mATX mainboard. It has multilayer circuit (not 2 layers), the oscilator is greater and there are more circuits than on the K16. The power feeded into the board is huge compared to K16. Not to mention the power filters and transformers.
So I assume that the circuit traces of the K16 are not enough to emit EM interference so that the values are greater than FCC aproves.
And let's keep in mind that those values are given at 1 meter from the device Smiley You will not sleep with the k16 boards.
In my opinion this is somewhat not important to discuss since there is more EMI using a cell phone. And if you decide to have a "farm" of k16 they will probably be placed in a location far or away from people (due tot the heat and also to prevent accidental intervention).

And anyway we are discussing about an experimental device. There are lots of things to improve and this is only one thing of them Smiley

Thought FCC guidelines were to resolve interference issue with other electronic components not mitigate against potential heath risks. FCC and FDA are different

Contrary to all my competitors I do take EMC seriously and designed these boards to be compliant. (which did increase price)
Emission testing is scheduled for next week, but the Lab hasn't yet confirmed my appointment.
The boards will be tested against EN55022.

There are no components on the board that their function will generate interference greater then the maximum admissible value of FCC.
This is just marketing IMHO.

Can this code be generated from a timeout read or based on the count of a x number of nonce....

Just a idea (don't throw any stones yet Smiley )

Da, corect, nu am BTC sau ฿.

Salut,
Daca nu am BC si vreau sa fac o comanda cum se poate rezolva ?
