They will probably go bankrupt soon and leave behind a big mess and lots of debts.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alpha Technology Litecoin (Scrypt) ASIC Miner Order Batch 1 Now! on: April 05, 2015, 07:03:46 AM
I am asking if anyone was refunded FINAL PAYMENT - should have been specific. I know that people are getting their pre-order payments back, I did too...even though I asked for a lot more than that. They just reversed the PayPal payments and considered the matter closed...keeping the remaining (and much larger) final payment amount.

So I'm wondering if people have managed to enforce judgment on the refund of their final payments, as well. I have seen stories of people getting judgments, but not much in the way of people saying they'd successfully enforced them, when it comes to final payments.

For my part, as slimy as these guys are, I'm skeptical that the money is even there anymore. They've had two family members leave the company since it started and it looks like it's down to one guy, now. They've outsourced pretty much everything. So even if a winding up petition were entered...I kinda doubt there are any real assets to liquidate. Alpha-T is pure fraud.

I wonder too. I have received back 50% over the total 100% full paid amount (4x Vipers). Now they seem not to be willing to pay the remaining 50% as they claim it was a final settlement.

I got a letter from Action Fraud on Friday it said they have found sufficient viable lines of enquiry and have passed a report on to Greater Manchester Police for investigation.

I would suggest any Alpha customers contact Action Fraud or GMP directly and file a case as its pretty clear now that Alpha have done a bunk with your money and miners. You can only hope the long arm of the law catches up with them and they face financial ruin, prison or both.

Great news, do you have a case number or reference number we can use when starting communicating with them? Also is there any e-mail address where these complaints can be send?

Check your PM. If anyone else would like the info PM me.

Thank you, submitting my orders/payment details towards them right now.

Looking at their website, I think they've packed and gone, they're not deleting posts anymore.

On their contact page there is no phone number anymore.

@gpufreak

Could you maybe add a web page to track bitmine's addresses?

I have seen some posts on that subject. It may come in handy to have a
place on the web where the data can be accessed.

Can you send me a PM with all addresses?
7  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Unofficial BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: June 06, 2014, 03:48:55 PM
Hi there

I am a Swiss citizen and live about 1h 50 m away from bitmine, and what a coincidence, also waiting for my money since about 40 days...

I am currently gathering info and put them together, so that also our foreign person can prosecute them, there are little cost for the moment and we do not need a lawyer for the first steps.

It will take some time to gather the infos and forms in italian and write instructions in english on how to fill them out, where to send, what to pay and so on.

So, please stay tuned.

There is a bank holiday on Monday in Switzerland.

Greetz

Let me know of specific questions. I will try to answer them, I am not a layer, but know several.

Cheers !

Make sure you also contact info@bitminerefund.com with your documents they are also preparing a special page on their website.

They should be quite far from bankruptcy, In february they increased their shares from 500'000$ to 1'000'000$ Adding Zefir to the team.

Speaking of Zefir, long time no see in this post...

noone from Bitmine has posted anything in a long time.

they probably can't come up with any new excuses or lies

http://bitminerefund.com/ so far already $ 318,245 in the verified refund section but also a big lists of customers who are waiting for their refund application confirmation on the bottom of the site which will make this amount even higher.

With the rising BTC price you would think this is in the advantage of Bitmine to start cashing some of their mined coins or saved up coins to actually start refunding...

15  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 20, 2014, 11:51:03 AM
bitching for money.

Christian explained:
we had a tremendous amount of problems, starting from the chip manufacturer till to fake chinese components,
problem during production, problem during SMD, problem during shipping, chip failure rate (40% in the last batch), mtgox failure with a lot of our bitcoins,

what you think ? we are happy to do business in this way ? this dream become a nightmare for everyone of us.
we started this adventure because we was sure to be better than BFL and all the other competitors, but the fact is that doing these miners is not easy.

and now we are flooded by refund request and we are selling all our assets for give back the money to our customers, seems be difficoult for the waiting customers to understand we had paid upfront our suppliers too.
we are working 14h day, 7 day at week for finish all the outstanding.

Start being a man not a chicken from today on.

With ~ 1850 BTC in their wallet ( https://blockchain.info/address/1Cz1pTK8GxsJqdHQrFLWh77WwYsyqyDX3k ) which is currently about ~ 842,900 USD it should not be too hard to start fulfilling refunds, is it?

Check www.bitminerefund.com and you will understand why people chase their money, every day more and more refunds are added on that website. In less then two weeks already more then $ 200,000 in refunds are added.

BITMINE Non payment of refund.

@giorgiomassa, If like you say on your website you are having problems paying all of the refunds in time and that you have created a refund queue, then great. How many are in that queue, how many refunds are you paying a day. When people request information about non-paid refunds tell them where they are in this refund queue.  Of course if the refund queue doesn't exist, then you won't be able to answer these questions, which is probably why BITMINE are not replying to my or other people emails.

To get a bit of an idea how many refunds are due and how their "queue" might look like: www.bitminerefund.com

Holy Cow,

a amount of already $ 228,405 in refunds not paid!

In less then two weeks the site has been online, I guess there is way more to come.

Can someone help me. I'm trying to call Bitmine and get answers of where my refund is (currently 49 days after I sent paperwork).

Calling from the US. Dialed 011 41 91 290 90 99

All I get is "the number you have dialed has not been recognized." Anyone know how to call them?

Their number was out of service today I guess, I had the same when dialing from Skype:

Code:
[19/05/14 15:27:07] xxx: Call started
[19/05/14 15:27:07] xxx: Call ended – phone network error

The only thing that will help here is:

* keep it strict business
* be polite, calling names/accusations on forum is no good for anything

but if everyone, who is waiting, will post a message here in this format:
ex. (color red):

Order nr: xxxxxx
Order date: 2014-01-01
Est delivery date: 2014-01-01
Amount paid: $xxxx

it will be more obvious for Bitmine AND others.
I know they will read this, but hammering on all bad things will not getting anyone doing something.

With this the forum will be more readable for everyone.

(just an idea)

Isn't that where www.bitminerefund.com is actually for?
20  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official BITMINE CoinCraft series 28nm ASIC miners thread on: May 11, 2014, 11:04:20 AM

I finally where able to get them on the phone yesterday and they said there are 3-4 people with USD refunds "before me in queue". My payment of the first order ~ $ 39.596,70 (incl. the 10%) will be paid Monday or Tuesday they said. Actually it should be on my account yesterday...

i got them on the phone today too and asked about the refund queue. and it didnt exists. he told me that i was on that list and i "will surely" recieve my money but he did not know when. so the refund que is only a trick to calm you down and makes you waiting longer.

and monday or tuesday is the same bullshit they told me last week.
then hurry, in 25 minutes they closing phonelines

Not able to get them on the phone, waiting tune over and over... Lets see if I have more luck on Monday.

why i am not surprised? :-|

Quote website ( source: http://bitmine.ch/delays-refunds-processing/ ):

Quote
Unfortunately, we have a fixed amount of international wire transfer orders that our bank allows to process daily so we’ve now created an internal refund queue that will be processed daily based on the date that your refund request has been approved. Rest assured that we are putting every possible effort to reduce the overall waiting time.

... So to me they say it is in place, to you they say it didnt exists, on their site they say it does exists. Now which one is it  Wink ...
