1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ALTCOIN you believe in 100% on: August 08, 2018, 02:21:45 PM
ADA

Not sure I'll never sell it but will definitely keep it as a long term investment. Especially once PoS launches and I'm able to stake my coins and gain interest from that...

But I do believe in it 100%, Cardano (ADA) is my favorite project.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most interesting Altcoin so far on: August 08, 2018, 02:11:05 PM
Last year? It was ADA (and still continues to be my all time favorite project).
This year? I'd say Gochain and INS have caught my full attention.
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sold all my ETH and bought ADA on: August 08, 2018, 02:07:13 PM
ADA is worth 1/10th of ETH in terms of market cap, but has so much more potential. Completely lost my confidence in ETH as new ICO's on decline, unknown inflation etc etc.

Welcome on board. I can't say it's the best decision you made even though I'm a strong believer of Cardano (ADA).

It's my all time favorite project though. GL to us all!
4  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin fall down to 5K this month? on: August 08, 2018, 02:03:11 PM
I've been seeing people mention that the bull market is very near or that BTC is going to reach ATHs this year etc and yet here we are, slowly dipping once again. At this point, all I know is that we know absolutely nothing about this market. It's very unpredictable and anything is possible at this current stage. Will it fall below 5k? I hope not but if it does, then I'll continue accumulating all the tokens that I firmly believe are good long term investments.

"Without the possibility of risk, there's no reward".

Here's to hoping for a brighter future.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying AltCoins At Dip...Are You Doing It Now? on: June 14, 2018, 12:49:47 PM
I'm constantly buying every month potential altcoins during dips... It's just a personal goal I decided to roll with.

Is it the best decision? Maybe.
Will they continue to drop? Maybe.

But it's a risk I'm willing to make.

I'm a long term investor so unless the whole market dies off, I got nothing to lose aside from the money that I'm willing to risk losing.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell happened on yobit last night this morning?? on: June 14, 2018, 12:46:34 PM

WTF?? Have you heard all of the coins that SEVERELY CRASHED this morning on YOBIT??? WTF A friend lost 0.72 btc and there are massive complaints of major losses with LIZA, LAMBO, LIMBO AND LIZUN. Major complaints about LIZA. Devastating losses for some. I have a friend that was left completely devastated.

Does anyone have the inside scoop as to what could have happened???

Why would anyone even put money into those coins? If you want to do any trading at all (and wake up not being totally broke), at least put your money in legit projects.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do now??? on: June 12, 2018, 01:00:50 PM
I can't honestly tell you what to do but as for me, I've been buying constantly during the dips (even though 90% of my current investments are down).

Since I have long term goals, I have just been accumulating (during dips) coins/tokens from projects I believe will be successful in the long term HODL.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cost of my portfolio has decreased 20 times in the last six months!I'm 1?) on: June 11, 2018, 04:45:37 PM
The cost of my portfolio for the last six months has decreased by 20 times, I'm the only one?) How are you doing, you sell below or wait, my expectations lead to the fact that the bottom is getting even lower!

You're not the only one. Out of 15 coins in my portfolio, only two of them are at profit. Most are down 60-85%+. I'm so down right now that my only option is to HODL. I will not get rid of anything since the money I invested, I'm willing to lose it ALL in case this ship sinks.

I believe all my HODL'ings are good investment and solid projects so..

For me this stage, its all or nothing.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what is the name of the airdrop token that is not a scam, please let me know on: June 11, 2018, 03:57:10 PM
now a lot of airdrop that comes up, there are lots of airdrop scam, I myself have been much deceived by airdrop, for that please tell me, what is the name of airdrop tokens that are not scam

I'm not quite sure about the so called "airdrop tokens" that you're referring too but the best token I've invested currently in that gives out airdrops is Pundi X.

I invested two months ago and received 2 airdrops already since they are paid out on a monthly basis.

All I've had to do is HODL them in my personal wallet.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDEX Account hacked somehow? on: June 11, 2018, 02:28:02 PM
But that private key requires a password or keyphrase to use it and I'm having trouble understanding how this could have been compromised?

Phishing scams? Keyloggers? Access to your info? I'm no security crypto genius sorry, I'm not sure exactly how but when it comes to cryptos, anything is possible.

Best thing is to never leave all your tokens/coins in exchanges. Try to diversify them with different storing options (best ones currently are hardware wallets - trezors, ledger nano s), etc.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IDEX Account hacked somehow? on: June 11, 2018, 02:21:07 PM
Hi Guys,

I don't know where to post this so hopefully this is the right spot. I need some help figuring out how this could have happened. 3 days ago it appears someone got into my IDEX account and sold my XYO coins then proceeded to transfer to the ETH to their own account. I am unclear how this could have taken place as I have been very careful with my IDEX account and my JSON file there. So is there anything (any clues) in this transaction that point to something beyond someone brute force hacking my IDEX account? Please help me understand how this could take place.

I get that my 1 ETH is gone ...yes it pisses me off to high heaven and people will be like too bad buddy I had xxx amount stolen. But what I'm trying to understand is HOW this happened so I can avoid it in the future. It makes no sense to me. My google accounts are secure e-mail etc... so I'm not sure what on earth happened.

Any help unraveling this mystery would be greatly appreciated.

Well, considering that when you open an IDEX account, a private key is generated for your wallet address, it's very much possible that you somehow ended up giving that info out...Unfortunately, there is not much anyone can do for you besides telling you to be more careful with your private keys during the next time you use them.

13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: June 08, 2018, 06:58:20 PM
Hi, good day guys! Newbie here so I'm asking you to help me with my long term investment. Aside from bitcoin, where should I invest my money and Why?

I personally invested my money into the following projects because I truely believe in them and personally find them to be great projects. But invest at your own risk. Remember, this is my personally preference for long term holding.

1. Cardano (ADA) - My favorite of them all.
2. Pundi X (NPXS) - Love the project and the monthly free airdrops (7.316% in 2018, 2.11637% in 2019 and 0.88187% in 2020) for those that HODL tokens in their respective wallets.
3. Sirin Labs (SRN) - Great potential to being the next Samsung/Apple in the crypto/blockchain space.
4. Ethereum (ETH) - One of the best and safest altcoins out there.
5. ICON (ICX) - Undervalued project with huge potential.

GL!

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the longer the cryptocurrency market falls on: May 23, 2018, 05:52:36 PM
If you have funds, buy more. Be greedy when people are fearful and be fearful when people are greedy

Very well said, couldn't agree more!
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the longer the cryptocurrency market falls on: May 23, 2018, 05:13:23 PM
what should we do, see the market is getting down every day, whether we still buy or we must hold, how do you think?

Don't worry about it, take it as an opportunity to add your investments. What goes down must come up. Sooner or later all the cryptos will be on uptrend we just have to be patient since we all know that crypto is very volatile. I'm not an expert but I'm positive that by the end of the year all cryptos will increase its value. We just have to wait what the future will bring and take advantage of this dips for more profit in the future.

If you believe in the technology of the coin that your holding then hodl. Don't let your emotions rule over you and regret in the future and always diversify your investments.

Actually I disagree on your quote: "What goes down must come up". Physics doesn't work that way and surely, irl that doesn't apply either but I give you points for your optimism. It's actually the other way around: What goes up, must come down hehe Tongue.

Just thought I'd point that out for shits and giggles.

But I do agree with everything else you mentioned!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AELF 10,000 ETH Giveaway Event - real deal or scam? on: May 07, 2018, 03:35:11 PM
Hey mates, had anyone of you came across this in AELF twitter with this tweet? Seems fishy to me

https://twitter.com/czhuIing/status/993376065040146432

Scam, don't fall for it.

Good luck!
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ADA Cardano on: April 16, 2018, 01:38:47 PM
According to me both ADA and CARDANO both are super coin for longterm. This 2 Altcoins has huge potential in cryptocurrency market. These 2 Altcoins are listed in top 10 currency in coin market cap.

Correction: There is no such thing as two altcoins. Cardano (ADA) is one altcoin, not two. Cardano is the "project" name as for ADA, being the cryptocurrency name given for the coin.

Best regards
