Well, Satoshi meant for it to be used a currency just that it's finite supply also makes it suitable as a store of value. Until crypto enthusiasts learn how to hodl and really trust in bitcoin it's feature of being a store of value will never be felt because anytime there is any concern in the market people are going to dump it. Take a look at what's happening right now with the spread of Coronavirus
Hodl and ponzl was the cancer = segwit This is a good reading hxxps://coingeek.com/why-there-is-no-store-of-value-or-digital-gold-in-btc/ FYI, nothing from Coingeek is "good reading" remember, Coingeek is Calvin Ayre, known fraud who's side by side with the CSW fraud. hv, wtf are you a noob?

The info is nowdays saved in "electrum_data" folder, anyone know other defaults it may have been from 2013 - 2015'ish?
Yes if you find the wallet file, you should be able to recover the wallet
would you (or anyone) know what the default wallet files get named?
I have the same exact problem.HAVE: the wallet name, and Electrum password, and even have the same installation exe file. DO NOT HAVE: the seed Any other ways? The data created from that Electrum should have been saved somewhere right? would there be a "wallet.dat" type file somewhere?

Ewww, thanks for the info but I wont be touching Fuzex with a 10 foot pole. Why in the world would you partner with definition of excon/fraud/scam persons? Announcing this is not a good thing imo

Bitcoin is best, it has the best chance of going up significantly, and being around in the long long term. The others could have falling outs like mainnet launch problems (lately we've seen this happening) or with ICO's not completing projects.
+1 vote for BTC

i have my XMR in Hitbtc... do i need to do the NMENONIC thingy?
If your XMR at Hitbtc then you don't need to do anything. They'll credit your account with XMV sometime after fork block has passed. The did this successfully earlier this month with XMO, and it was very smooth and quick

Hello is there any news with binance or kraken?
No, highly doubt those 2 will support this fork.
Seems like HitBTC doesn't allow any more deposits for XMR for the moment, so we can't claim the fork there. I am going for OkEx now, or would anyone suggest another exchange? At the moment I have my coins on mymonero
Hey man, i just checked if i can deposit Monero on HitBTC and it seems absolutely normal and able to deposit for me, right now.
