I had to make an account because there is no where else to talk about "buzz". I logged on to the buzz discord to ask how the project was going because there is literally no info for 2 years (the swap was announced 2 years ago), I was berated by Max and then banned (even went so far as to say "Im just asking questions please dont ban" because I know Max has a temper and if anyone asks about the project he has a meltdown)
Why would the team treat anyone like this, or worse someone who holds a large percent of the coins?
How are they going to attract anyone new to the project?
Why is the team still around if it is a scam?
Seems like buzz is actually trying to build something, but have the worst PR, which will ruin the project even if the bee hive miners actually work. For now I consider Buzz a total loss and scam. If it does somehow recover I looking forward to dumping my large percent of the coins as soon as buzz seems like it will recover.
This project has been something very near to a scam. Not at the begining, but after the altcoin market crashed. I am not saying they did it on purpouse, just that it happend this way. Right now it is very speculative to buy buzzcoin. I sold mines almost 2 years ago. If I were you I just would hold my coins and if I would sell them if the project recovers from its death (which I doubt). |

Well i understand that it's allways easier to go to the community chat (discord/telegram etc.) and just ask a question, especially if somebody is a newcomer, or just "trader" who want to trade news/events such as swap, rebranding etc. focused on short term trade. But BUZZcoin is a longterm hodl, and there are lots of community members who are patient and they understand that BUZZ team consists of few people, who are paying for project development from their own money. So we respect their work and try not to ask stupid questions or talk BS. Number of discord members was growing last weeks, now it's stable at 1.4k, but when news come i'm sure that more people will be interested in this project. Very cool thing is that at this early stage of project, there are a lot of beekeepers (from US and europe) interested in this project.

Are there a lot of beekeepers interested in the project? I am a beekeeper/crop farmer in the US and Into crypto, part of a Venn diagram that doesn't overlap too much at this point, and you would think they would want to network or at least be cordial, I offered to use a few of my apiaries as a test place, for no cost, and offered to help the project in anyway. They simply don't care. "early stage of the project" - lol basically pre-anything, nothing has happened with the project, not one, single tangible thing. WAIT, Im wrong, they had ONE thing, they changed the wallet to 3.1.1 to give Max a percent of all stakes, basically one update, to take your coins, haha what a scam Absolutely right. Star faaaaar away from this scam. |

I dont know the future, but this RVN is different from others and can make a difference. Thats why I believe it is a good idea to hodl it. Maybe I will lose money, but at the moment it doesnt seem a silly idea.

How long does it take for the coin to reach full supply?
I believe it allready reachead maximun supply: if you see the price of buzzcoin in CMC you will see that the circulating supply is 19,993,321,816 BUZZ while max supply is 20,000,000,000 BUZZ, so allmost 100%. The possibility of getting some BUZZ out of PoS is zero. I guess thats one of the reasons for the swap. |

Wallet is not syncing. This has been going on for a while, on and off. Can someone upload a bootstrap? Perhaps, Cryptocity can host it like they did with Bottlecaps.
I was also having so much trouble with this wallet with it going out of sync and then not syncing or taking a long time just for the wallet to sync. So I had to make the tough decision and sell all my Buzz coins as it was frustrating for me and I was even earning any stakes due to the wallet always going out of sync. I know its not my internet connection as I don't have any trouble with any of my other staking wallets. Anyway I hope you can get your wallet sorted, good luck. I still believe this is a good investment, can't say i am 100% sure, and i'm not looking for a lambo or penthouse  why not? think big  Somehow this depends on how much money you invest. If for example RVN ges 100x (which I believe is possible) AND you invest 10.000 dollars (which is not that much) you will make 1M. And with 1M you can buy a lambo. |

This year will be a wild ride for Ravencoin. With big things coming to T0 exchange in March and dividend and messaging features added to RVN code this year, Ravencoin has a bright future ahead!
Burstcoin can do all this already and has been around way longer, but it's not going to the moon. Jason Crowe destroyed all hope of that. I used to be a big fan of Burst. I'm still mining Burst and I trade them on the exchanges. They went to PoC2 and there's new wallets. You can CPU mine still and use your GPU for other mining at the same time. I use the few coins to help with electric cost on my RVN GPU mining. Burst has all these same features, messaging, asset exchange, dividend payouts, low fee's. Exactly what RVN dev's are trying to achieve. Jason Crowe and Mr. Burst thing is in the past, but your right that did hurt the coins rep. I agree with this guy. I am also mining Burst since Feb/2018 and as far as I see it, Burst works just fine. Had no problems whatsoever since then. Whatever that Jason Crowe guy did in the past, will stay in the past. However... Whether if its on Raven or Burst, I actually don't care much about assets. Tbh, I don't understand how they work and how's that useful at all. I did some research about that Jason guy on google and I found out that he was also fucking with "assets" and that's how he fucked burst up which leads me to my final conclusion about the subject: Assets suck. I don't know how RVN is going to handle this. I hope it does because I am also investing in it from time to time. Maybe if you did 10 minutes of research on the shitcoins you invest in you'd have a better underatanding on what their use case is. If you don't understand why real assets on a blockchain are useful, you haven't done enough (or any) research. ETH creating tokens out of thin air that mean nothing, those have value, but stocks represented on a blockchain? Worthless. /s Yeah don't you get how cutting fees & middlemen out of traditional finance ventures is going to revolutionize the way people in sandals and polo shirts do business? Well I think there is something that ETH and the like can reaaly do to help people in sandals, and it is permit them to invest in bussinesses (out of their countries) they couldnt invest if there was no ETH. |

How can you have PPS of over 100%? Do you essentially mean you're providing an incentive (in the short term) out of your own pocket to get miners to come over to your pool? How is this incentive being paid? There are plenty of ways for pools to do so. Private futures contracts, luck factoring on a grander scale than what most miners think on etc. As long as it's from a reputable solid provider it doesn't matter and is none of our business. Well there is no harm in asking. I've never heard of 'elitehash' before, so asking how they operate is pretty reasonable. If they don't want to answer, that's fine, but it is reasonable to ask how they can payout more than what is coming in through mining. I suspect that there is people mining RVN on loss. Paying more that mining would be a possibility to do this. |
