Hello miners, come enjoy great payout rates @ http://rvn.elitehash.net, 100.7% PPS and still going slowly up.

How can you have PPS of over 100%? Do you essentially mean you're providing an incentive (in the short term) out of your own pocket to get miners to come over to your pool?

How is this incentive being paid?

There are plenty of ways for pools to do so. Private futures contracts, luck factoring on a grander scale than what most miners think on etc. As long as it's from a reputable solid provider it doesn't matter and is none of our business.

Well there is no harm in asking. I've never heard of 'elitehash' before, so asking how they operate is pretty reasonable.

If they don't want to answer, that's fine, but it is reasonable to ask how they can payout more than what is coming in through mining.

I suspect that there is people mining RVN on loss. Paying more that mining would be a possibility to do this.

funny thing guys ...well random is random
...i guess possibility of finding block with small rigs or amounts of GPU's is quite low but i have checked my mini rig today and guess what?

My mini rig 3x1070 had found 2 blocks within last 2 weeks of mining RVN



if it was a certain thing (1 block/1 week) it would be even cool profitability nowadays as per 3 GPU rig only but ... my other larger rigs didn't find any block since 1-2 months

that doesn't mean anything nowadays and personally I think it doesn't mean at all just look how many bad coins are in top 100 and how many good outside?

Those are top coins by circulating supply and ...I wouldn't exchange 1$worth RVN even for 10$ worth of any of these coin in terms of holding them and possibilities of future development, growth, capabilities etc (just look at 24h volume...)

To be honest coinmarketcap ranking doesn't mean a lot just because its only about one thing ---> Market Cap excluding all the rest

Not the first time we are seeing this kind of fud and this will not be the last one either, just do not take it seriously. Even Bitcoin itself has a lot of haters, RVN should have some of them right? just keep holding it until it launches or until the trend changes. I believe the price will be bounced off from this point onward

That is part of the game haters will keep doing their job who realize the potential of this coin. Strong believers never take this serious they keep buying on every chance when they will get. RVN is here to stay and I believe in long term this coin will be more promising.

As it was stated in the update new ideas and thoughts are being used and considered to make things lot more interesting and excited. Ravencoin should show significant progress this year in its price and development at the same time.

True... the volume is also important because a coin could stay very high if it has not been traded (in theory) since January's peak. So I made a test with interesting results!

I took for example a random coin named "Waltonchain", an unknown coin with rank 76 by market cap which caught my eye because of the very high volume ($2,321,001).
I checked the coin's markets (https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/waltonchain/#markets) and I noticed that most of the volume comes from an unknown exchange named "Allbit".
So I visited the exchange's page (https://allbit.com/exchange/WTC) and as it was obvious the coin is traded very thinly and most likely by bots; within 24hours, 8000 coins are repeatingly changing hands at the same price.
Even that fake trading is producing a volume of 8,324$, not 1,000,000$ as reported my CMC!

So yea... just ignore market cap.
Personally I use https://coinlib.io and I have "starred" the coins which I care about and I know that are doing real progress. Then there's an option to see the order by market cap of the starred coins as well as their newsfeed from various media sources.

But can't compare Raven with other coins it is all about community what they decide. Raven has good reputation and big companies are involve in it so that in future this will outperform all other potential competitors.
