1  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Mt. Gox Bankruptcy Solution: Redistribute stock: 1 coin = 1 share. on: February 28, 2014, 01:01:33 PM
The theft component should change that.  Half a billion dollars worth of ignorance is kind of a hard sell.  Ill gotten gains aren't protected.  If he's lucky, he'll be watching from behind bars.
2  Economy / Service Discussion / Mt. Gox Bankruptcy Solution: Redistribute stock: 1 coin = 1 share. on: February 28, 2014, 12:46:30 PM
No other plan can fairly make us whole.  We are the entirety of what is left and stock is the only thing that Gox has to offer.  We simply need to keep legal fees from eating up what little we have left and operate a proper lean and mean exchange with what assets we have.  Voting and dividends are properly weighted.

polite requests are ignored

phonecalls go unanswered

emails are answered by an automated response that promises a human response that NEVER arrives

forum posts are ignored or smeared with dung by the lucky/paid/bored/ignorant

unreasonable demands are made of CUSTOMERS who are illegally referred to as BUSINESSES

it is a big scam, and we are the investdurrs.

that SOME of us made +ROI (in USD) is immaterial for those of us that did not.

boasting of your 'success' or your 'method' is irritating to say the least when genuine concerns are deemed as TROLLING.

wipe the drool from your mouth and open your eyes!

modules ordered & paid for AFTER november orders will be shipped this week? next week? so when will the november orders get shipped?

30th november just to stay 'honest'

1st of dec due to EXTRA modules needing to be shipped a week or so late?

do we have ANY say in what is expected?

i hate the fact that we have to backflip through hoops & moonwalk on eggshells to get what we paid for (a fully functional rig)

while the million dollar success story is plastered all over the world ignoring the multitude of LEGITIMATE concerns are overlooked or passed of as false

(ignore button is a pathetic threat made by pathetic individuals)

'do what i say or i'll press a button to ignore you without actually ignoring you' - awesome!

Pipe down and don't be last in line next time.

Just about everyone except you took it in the shorts, timewise.

Whatcha got, three hundred coins now?  And everyone else needs to shut up?

Noggunna, noggunna, noggunna, noggunna happen.

Does anybody know why ?

Apparently there's no valid case where .97 works better than .96 or .98.  It had a bug that was corrected in .98.
In my case, .96 has higher peaks, lower valleys, and less power.  .98 has fewer low spots, quicker flushwork,  but uses more power.  I'm on .98 and liking it.

applied .98 to my jupiter, now hashing at 150GH/s instead of 500.

 Huh Huh Huh
It took my Jupiter 12 hours to 'get in the groove' after updating to .98.  Almost rolled back, but now it's a steady 15GH/s improvement.

The mods have gone full circle. Now it's back to factory build with just a bit of cardboard on top of the heatsinks. =:)
Back to bone stock on .96 here.

For those bound on risk I wonder if the removed USB port is possible to be soldered back to copy over these files. Probably the biggest risk would be warranty wise?

Should be a lot safer just to buy another BBB & copy the image over.

do you need to run enablecores.bin on .97, not sure? Anyone?

If it doesn't work out, here's how to roll back per KNC:

For those that experience degradation with 0.97 we recommend the following steps until improved firmware is available:

Revert to firmware 0.95,
Make a hard reset (see manual)
Ensure poolsettings are correct.
Apply patch “enableallcores” found on the support page.
Restart CGMiner

Please also check the following:
Pool address and ports correct in mining settings
Miners have a high quality internet connection that does not cut off.

Test the miner

Maybe you mean you saw a power supply spin it's OWN fan and shut down?  That would be different, and certainly possible - but that is not the scenario the poster described.
Not to belabor the issue but that is the scenario described.

my vote is that the paper clip's in the wrong spot.  Wrong cable maybe?  How about a pic?

He said the fans spin up, then go back off.

If the paper clip was in the wrong place, the fans would not spin at all, as the power supply would be off.
I've seen power supplies that behave exactly as he describes when powered up while attached to nothing.

Wow, my first found block.  On Slush.  A few days ago, I just noticed.  Can't think of any other reason this one Found Block is listed on my profile page.  The block number 265105.
You da man.

You'd think they'd have tried a rubber band by now.
Or tape
or a zip tie

Here's the way it works.  You order something. You get what you paid for. You're happy.
KNC's customers can be divided into two groups.

A. Those who got what they paid for.
B. Those who did not.

I, for one, would prefer to be in Group A.

By the way, those of us in Group B are aware that those of you in Group A are happy.

Any guesses on when Sam comes out of hiding with his "I'm not dead" speech?

It was intended to be humorous.  A joke, just like this entire experience.
