1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reason for selling NEO on: August 11, 2018, 05:02:41 AM
I kept NEO for more than 6 months, today I sell them too much I think they will soon collapse in price. I am sure that by investing in another altcoin I will get more money and experience.
Neo is good for long term investment but when we are talking to value, it is very cheap compared to other coins. This kind of coin has disadvantage like any other coins but Neo's weakness is in terms of the currency or value. But Neo has good potential when we are talking about long term investments.
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoin are you going to invest in now? on: August 11, 2018, 04:56:50 AM
Elastic is very low, good coin for short time double.

NEO is at a cheap price, good coin for long term hold.

Viacoin "WAS" low, just spiked 30%, wait for it to go under 1dollar aigan and invest, good coin for short time gain.

I also invest NEO because this kind of coin is very good when we are talking to a long term run. However, the value of Neo is very cheap compared to other altcoins, it will be worth investing for because it good for holding in a long term. And also, I have faith that Neo has good potential as time goes by.

b.) Bounties
c.) Giveaways
d.) All of the above
All of the above because all of those can benefits you a lot. why not choosing all the possible things that will help you instead of choosing one. All of those can benefit you but in every different aspects. Grab all opportunity that you think that will help you in the near future. However, those things consumed your time it is really worth it.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to identify Good and legit bounties on: August 10, 2018, 06:59:14 AM
Please i will like to ask the community what and what must I consider before joining a bounty campaign am still not clear on that.. And I got to know not all Bounties are good to join.. From experience all my effort on metal Factory was a waste as the thread was removed and my 3 weeks posting and sharing was all for nothing.
Better try to know the bounty manager. Search information about him and about the project their trying to implement. If you see the goal or objective of the project is good, maybe it is legit. Being knowledgeable about the project is the best way to know whether the bounty is trustworthy.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it true that every end of the year so many Crypto-holders are rich? on: August 10, 2018, 06:50:43 AM
In my experience end of the year (approx mid December) is typical to have a significant dump of coins due to traders locking in profits before the end of the year, people going on holiday and needing money, etc.

Yes this is more likely happen during December, I`m a holder, but somewhat I failed to hold some tokens and it keeps dragging me down until now why I didn't sell in December. It's a big mistake for me, not to ask somebody, well anyway being a novice in trading and holding always experience something like this.
It happens but not in all situation. There cases that some holder became rich at the end of the year and there are also holder remains the same. It depends on the currency of the token they have. The higher the currency the higher the possibilities that the income will be higher.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about airdrop that required apps install? on: August 10, 2018, 06:39:13 AM
I found a project offering an airdrop but required participants to download and install their mobile app. The app is newly made with only few hundreds download and I don't think I'll ever use it.

Is it too risky?
It is too risky because it may get malware to your devices and it can also get personal information of yours. However, there are airdrop that you need to install app but they are reliable and trustworthy. Before joining airdrop, get a background information about the airdrop manager and the purpose of that coin and other information that will help you to determine whether the airdrop is not risky.
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Seeking for a long term coin on: August 07, 2018, 12:31:56 PM
ADA coins are good, but i think is better to buy bitcoin or other altcoin that have big volume
ADA is one the best coin that will last for a long term. However, there are coins that has higher volume in terms of prices like bitcoin, eth, etc. But you have assurance for ADA. you can invest your coin to it and leave for few years and then back. you can see the result.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hacked wallet on: August 07, 2018, 12:27:31 PM
Nowadays people complain about their account being hacked
We need experts here to give us some tips on how a wallet can be secured from being hacked
Your submissions will be welcome
Cheers!
I think there is no probability that your account will hacked if you only keep your private key to yourself. Be careful in entering sites that requires personal information of yours because this might become the reason to hack your account. Not all sites are trustworthy, be wise and literate about it. also, if you miss some details of your private key, you cannot ope your wallet. you can make a copy of your private key in a private document so that there is back up when you forgot it.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Invest in ethereum 2018? on: August 07, 2018, 12:14:44 PM
Is the time right to invest in ethereum or is it at a bad time? Huh
For me, there is no problem in investing right now in ethereum because the currency of that coin is very good. also, you can have good benefits for the future if you invest in ethereum. It is a coin that is worth investing for. It will be a good asset for you if you choose investing in ethereum.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best way to promote an ICO on: August 05, 2018, 01:07:52 AM
ANN threads are effective for sure. But i am not sure about bounty campaigns. There are so many bounty hunters they open useless social media accounts to get more free tokens. A more professional advertising strategies are a must for icos.
The best way to pomote Icos is using social media. People nowadays are into social media. You can advertise od promote such tokens in a creative manner. And the message can easily spread to billions of people because of internet. However, there are disadvantage like they cannot easily determine whether it is reliable and trustworthy or not. But you can caught the interest of a lot of people. You only need to be factual and purposive.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IOTA do better in future? on: August 05, 2018, 01:01:28 AM
IOta is quite new in the market and day by day the number of crypto currency is increasing. So, if it doesn't offer something attractive to people, they won't get inspiration to buy such coin. So, to survive, it has to improve its features.

Yes. A lot of people are not familiar to that kind of coin. They don't even know the purpose of that coin. I don't think it will rise and survive for a long period of time. There are also numbers of coins that emerge in the market, therefore that kind of has the probability to die in the near future. If that wil promote or advertise by other, everyone can be knowledgeable about that coin. Therefore, many people will put their interest to that kind of coin.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Manager Level = Campaign Successfully? on: August 04, 2018, 08:15:32 AM
I agree with you. I often choose famous managers to participate in their campaigns. Although not all of their campaigns are successful, the scam rate will be much lower.
The higher the rank the most reliable and trustworthy the manager is. I usually join bounty campaign with a manager that is higher rank. There possibilities that the project will success because they manage it carefully and you have an assurance to them.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How bounty helped your project? on: August 04, 2018, 08:03:09 AM
Hey

I was wondering, how bounty campaign can help your project to get bigger.

Do you have such experience?

For example, for the company I work in - a lot. It attracted more than 5000 to our telegram community. What about you?
The why bounty help your project is it can promote your project in different aspects. Through they can advertise your project in a way that everybody can be informed. They can easily know the objective of your projects and the platforms you want to convey to other people.
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NEO v/s ETH on: August 04, 2018, 07:53:05 AM
Absolutely, they have similar characteristics but the answer to this question base on what we are seeing presently is Obviously is EThereum
Correctly, Both have their own the same advantage and disadvantage. But when you are looking into one side. Ethereum is the most favorable for me because it has good potential for decentralization. also, Ethereum has higher currency compared to Neo. However, both altcoins is very good but Ethereum is greater than Neo.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you sold your Bitcoin Cash (BCH) on: August 01, 2018, 11:18:05 AM
Not yet mate, I'm still holding it and I never claimed my BCH with electron cash. I have check different exchanges and their rates aren't too far from each other and they are almost identical. But I think it's better to sell it off on bittrex.
I also still hold my bitcoin because I can see that the price of bitcoin will rise in the near future. I am still hoping that it will do. There are a little bit changes that happened in the currency because it continuously rising up compare to precious days or even week.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the reasons behind banning cryptos? on: August 01, 2018, 11:07:58 AM
Some countries have already banned cryptos. But i am not sure behind the reasons. Could you please share your thoughts on the reasons of banning cryptos?
Regards
There are two main reason, one reasons is officially stated by almost every aforementioned country: cryptocurrencies are banned because of security issues. The second reasons are usually not stated officially but is largely implied. It is directly associated with cryptocurrencies being decentralized: cryptocurrencies allow people to trade directly with each other (peer to peer), cutting out the need for a middleman, which traditionally is a bank.
17  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet vs Software wallet on: August 01, 2018, 11:03:45 AM
Surfing on the bitcointalk forum, I sometimes see some threads discussing about hacking of wallets and the discussion is geared towards the best wallets to secure individuals from hackers. Hardware wallets are normally mentioned. I decided to find out about hardware wallets and my searches made me know that, wallets which are normally hacked are of software base. I found out that some viruses which attack computers are able to steal private keys from the software wallets that we normally use. The issue of virus attacking a computer makes the use of hardware wallet very advantageous over software wallet since the hardware wallet are immune against viruses, hence viruses cannot steal from such wallets. My question is what are some of the hardware wallets and how can one get a hardware wallet?
Hardware wallet can Offers much better security than an online wallet and a bit better security than a software wallet. Allows funds to be sent to and from the device. Doing this often will reduce its security though. While Software wallet Usually user-friendly designs. Software wallets have been made to give users the easiest way to use the Ethereum blockchain. Sending, receiving, and importing private keys should all be very simple when using any well-known software wallet.Easy to access Ether and other digital currencies. If you make a lot of purchases from online sellers using your Ether, payments can be sent quickly and simply from a software wallet. However, both wallet have their own disadvantage. You need to choose the best wallet that fits to you.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Wallets for altcoins on: August 01, 2018, 10:58:02 AM
Jaxx or Coinomi for mobile are probably the two most commonly used.
I prefer ether wallet because it is very accessible. There are lots of different types of Ethereum wallets. Each one offers different advantages and disadvantages to the user. Some are easier to use but less secure. Meanwhile, others are great for storing money that you don’t want to use for a long time, but aren’t very good for daily use. In this guide, we’ll look at the different types of ETH wallets available: paper wallets, online wallets, software wallets, hardware wallets, and mobile wallets.
Paper wallets : Great for large amounts of Ether. Since it’s so secure, you can feel happy storing large sums on a paper wallet. Test the wallet first by sending a few dollars’ worth of Ether to it. When it’s confirmed, you can send the rest over.
Completely free. An Ethereum paper wallet that is just as secure as any other wallet and can be made at no cost whatsoever
Online wallet: Great for traders. If the online wallet is based at an exchange, all the coins you can buy at the exchange will have their own wallets within one account.
Can sell a position very quickly. This is a good thing if you are wanting to time the market. However, it could also lead to bad decisions and cost you money in badly timed trades
Software wallet: Usually user-friendly designs. Software wallets have been made to give users the easiest way to use the Ethereum blockchain. Sending, receiving, and importing private keys should all be very simple when using any well-known software wallet.
Easy to access Ether and other digital currencies. If you make a lot of purchases from online sellers using your Ether, payments can be sent quickly and simply from a software wallet
Mobile Wallets: Some cryptocurrency users like to keep their Ether on a mobile wallet. This offers an easy way to store it because they can use their Ether when they’re away from their computer. However, mobile wallets have the same risks as software wallets. They are only as secure as the mobile phone itself
Hardware wallet:Offers much better security than an online wallet and a bit better security than a software wallet.Allows funds to be sent to and from the device. Doing this often will reduce its security though.

19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Increasing dominance of Bitcoin on: July 27, 2018, 11:55:21 AM
The only reason is that Bitcoin is the longest exist coin in the crypto market. And secondly, the market trend has made Bitcoin a coin to dominate the altcoin

Because the Bitcoin has been the most in demand  coin in the crypto world as of now, it is the very first coin that is still alive and developing and i think it will lead to success in the near future. There are other alt coin  that has been entered in the crypto  and yet the price of bitcoin is still huge compared to that altcoin. This might be because of the age of bitcoin or due to the fact that new investors are still rely on the capabilities of bitcoin and does not trust other altcoins.
20  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should i quit on joining bounty campaign? on: July 27, 2018, 11:44:32 AM
It was an unfortunate event that i was able to join an ICO campaign that was really not good in terms of their management. They are requiring to do the bounty hunters a KYC process as to help them identify the real bounty hunters. Well that is good though and i am confident that i am able to comply in the KYC process. However, a couple of months pass the team requires the bounty hunters to contribute with 0.1 eth and that time I was about to think why when in fact they will do KYC? So i think there is something fishy out there in their ICO and i quit joining bounty campaigns. I posted more than 200 post for them but sad to say my efforts had gone to nothing. I am afraid now to join ICO bounty campaign. Should i quit? Well anyway i found SONDER and this time i am sure that i have joined a good ICO having a live sales which sold million of tokens in their private sales. No question with the success we are almost reaching the soft cap and i am planning also to invest with them as the team told us that our contribution as eth increases so does our tokens. WOw i am really impressed with these ICO. The team are working hard and i am happy and great to be with these team. I finally found the one.
This is common thing for a bounty hunters. You should not stop joining bounty campaign because there are still bounties that are worth joining for. However, there a lot of bounties that are scams but be wise in joining bounties. You can make a background research about the project and the objective of it.
