1  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling Bitmain Coupons - 100 - 200 - 220 - 350 - 420 on: April 19, 2018, 02:15:24 PM
Sold all of the $420's to Dance191 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=204006

Also; Sold all of the $200s and $220s.

Only the $100s are left. Willing to let these go for relatively cheap because I'm not buying any more miners until after the 4th of July season.

3  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Bitmain.com - Antminer S9 - April Batch - Group Buy on: February 06, 2018, 10:43:45 PM
I have spots left if anyone is interested. I am in belief that the price per miner will be less once the contract comes to me. All leftover funds will be used towards extra miners (if you choose) or will be given a refund after payment is sent to China. Both of these options are chosen when I send the contract to you.
4  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Maximum order quantity of Antminer S9 on: January 29, 2018, 02:59:27 PM
Ya I tried the cart option once. I had a technical issue and they sold out before I could check the maximum amount that I can check out with. And this is a large undertaking for me, so I definitely want some certainty towards miner availability--for the initial purchase and reinvestment purposes.

About Canaan - I've determined that they are overpriced. If it was a case of ~5%, then I would not mind too much. But, it is 15% more expensive. Since these translate directly to revenue, I am very price conscious. Also, Bitmain has a lead time of 2 months, which is less than others, with 3 or more months.

If you want to hop on a phone call with me sometime this week/end, I'm throwing together a group buy and have been confirmed for the April Shipment. I don't know exactly how many they're going to give me in terms of allocation though. So far I asked for 200-300 units and through the group buy sign up I have sent out about ~170 Antminers worth of invoices in the last 3 days.

Here is my number 608-629-5398 Extension 101; email: matt@midwestminers.com; I'll give you my cell phone number too, just don't feel like posting that into an open forum yet.
Sounds great, but you don't have very many posts and if you're not a scam, then how much are you charging for the miners?

It's in this calculator, also if you'd notice my low post history; you could have easily navigated to the thread for the Group Buy I'm organizing. Either way, I have about ~170-185 units reserved of the 200 for the order. Depending on if people are following through or not I may up that to 300 since I have a business looking to purchase 125 themselves.
5  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Maximum order quantity of Antminer S9 on: January 26, 2018, 05:19:06 PM
Ive put in multiple orders for over 3000 miners so 300 is a drop in the bucket. That being said for bulk purchases its not always best to go through the website.
So how did you order 3000+ miners at once if not through website? How can I contact them so that I will not get a generic email answer?

Have an in with a salesperson or have very helpful associates from China who want another one of your business ventures to succeed.

There is a link to the Current stock of Mining Cards.

Most of these are listed on my website, eBay, and through various other sales channels.

Willing to use escrow, however, would prefer to run things through the website.

For large sums, we would prefer Cryptocurrency or Bank Wires.

You will be given an invoice from Midwest Miners, LLC unless paying online. Should receive a receipt from Shopify.

Further pictures of some stuff.

I've had multiple people sign-up from other countries.

Please be aware that shipping prices will increase to other countries as this was intended for USA customers only (as Bitmain has a repair center in California).

Shipping estimates I just received from USPS to Greece ($125-150), I can't include signature delivery requirement so the responsibility would be on the buyer after the item leaves our warehouse. I am willing to put any person ordering from another country into a hotel for up to 2 days to arrange to ship out of our warehouse if trust is an issue. I will allow you to use our shipping rates from either, USPS, UPS, or FedEx or arrange your own.

Shipping estimates from UPS to Greece was $350 per item, obviously much more expensive.

If anyone else is interested please let me know via email or filling out the form on google. I am responding as quickly as possible to the sign ups.
9  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitmain's Released Antminer S9, World's First 16nm Miner Ready to Order on: January 23, 2018, 10:02:43 PM

Last time I ordered I received my shipment a week early, but the power supplies came a few days late, rendering the miners useless for all of that extra time I had. That was disappointing, lol.

I always try to order last batches Power Supplies Smiley

Well I sent my US wire transfer last week, and yet today my order says "expired and unpaid" ...  Anyone else in the same boat?  I uploaded my proof of transfer last week as well.  I opened a ticket late last week and still no response from Bitmain. Sigh....

JP
My last couple of wires went through and were confirmed within 1-2 days. However, they are on a company Holiday (per sales rep) until January 30th.

They are out of the office until the 26th....

On a side note, anyone getting their s9s in yet? If so from which batch are your purchases that are arriving now? I have 19 coming in in March and plan on renting a new space to accommodate growth. Don’t want to pay for February rent if I don’t have to worry about them coming early.

I received my latest shipment ~3-4 weeks early.

Saved for edits. I can also attempt to put together a group buy for the Avalon's, however, I've been in discussions with them since October and don't seem to be making any progress.

Edit 1: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/rt26bj91brx3y2c/AAC5UtsiJmLuQDO3_rbe5reCa?dl=0

Here is a link to the sample Contract and Invoice that will be sent out. We will be sending a different invoice once everything is confirmed and paid (We will register into our ERP program, etc.)

PLEASE NOTE: I'm not going to take credit card/website orders for anything over 2 units. For one, I highly doubt my credit card company will allow a $150k transaction. Secondly, I don't believe any of you have a $150,000 limit on a credit card.

Please fill out this google form;

I've been confirmed for a bulk order for the April Batch, I am basing the pricing off their retail values and a potential discount of $5-25/unit. If there is any money leftover after customs/duty, shipping to USA, or a price differential you will be given a refund that is relative to your total order.

Pricing Structure:
$250 - Per Unit under 5 units
$200 - Per Unit 5 or more units

These are your mandatory fees for joining the group buy. However, there are ADDITIONAL OPTIONS within the google form which I believe add value to the order.

This fee covers my companies resources in making sure everything goes smoothly, we won't be doing this for free and hope you understand things like this take time, energy, etc. This puts each miner at roughly ~2700-2800 from China to our warehouse in Wisconsin to your doorstep. This puts our fee at roughly 8-12% for doing all of the logistical work.

We are working with our bank to set up an escrow account, however, please be advised that escrow contracts are EXTREMELY detailed based on each transaction. If you'd like to have your money placed inside of a true escrow account, outside of our contractual agreement then I have no problem if you provide the funds for a lawyer to draw up an escrow contract.

After signing up you will be asked to confirm your order with an invoice and payment terms relative to what you filled out on the form, for bank wires you will be given a Reference number so we can match it with your order. Each invoice will have a detailed line explaining what each charge is for.

The bank we are going to use is either State Bank Financial based out of La Crosse, WI or Associated Bank out of Viroqua, WI.

A little about our company; We have been in business since the 1980s, import 18-20+ containers of fireworks per year (gotfireworks.com), run 20-30 different tent sites throughout the 4th of July season, we are working on an online smoke shop (tokehouse.com), and have recently re-entered the Cryptocurrency space from 2011-2012.

Midwest Miners, LLC is our company that is the Cryptocurrency division and we are attempting to provide people access to mining hardware that is high quality and also accessible. You can check out our website at www.midwestminers.com

I'd be more than happy to meet with anyone interested in purchasing units with us as long as my schedule permits, mostly on weekends I'd be available to meet in Madison, WI or Minneapolis, MN.

If you'd like to speak with me our office number is 608-629-5398 and I am at extension 101. Please leave a message if I'm not there and I'll get back to you when I can, otherwise you can email me at matt@midwestminers.com
14  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: Just got off the phone with Bitmain re next batch of S9 on: January 13, 2018, 04:58:23 PM
Unless you asked for 50, then you can go home.

Not necessarily. We still don't know how many will drop from the list and how many Bitmain will actually give us. I assume that some of the larger orders will not go through since when we get the details and send all the information and payment details, they may not be able to or not want to act fast enough, and we won't wait too long since i don't want to lose the entire deal.

Just emailed and tried to call.
