1  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: November 14, 2014, 03:23:30 PM
LOL. Nearly a year after  I paid, I got X-3 delivered today.

Despite writing to BA in June asking to change the delivery address, those plonkers still delivered it to my old work address.

I don't even fucking live in UK anymore! It seems they can't do anything right!

Selling both units on ebay if someone is interested.

Edwards Place is a small block of overpriced flats, so that's only a partial address. Wonder if running a business is prohibited in the tenancy agreement.

What is their HongKong address? as they only have Shenzhen, Guangdong, on the website.

So did I. I then requested a refund in April, which they approved, but asked me to wait until shipping started.

In August, after shipping had started, they said there would be no refunds.

Yet somehow we customers are to blame for keeping them busy with our complaints and making their sensitive engineers cry with our criticism.

Please, please report your case to the Hong Kong police, using the above link. Then the police will have one more complaint on top of the pile of others. And they will act on them.

Do it soon, before BA deletes another 50 pages of posts from this thread again.

I did complain to HK cyber crime as well. Just tired of their continuous lies.

I know there is no point, and frankly, I have already said good bye to the money for my X3. But at least, they will have one more refund request amongst pile of others.

Just for the record, I placed my order in November 2013.

Hi Guys,

I am sure that this has been answered before, but can anyone direct me to the correct way of requesting refund.

Is the email a preferred way of communication?

Thanks

Do you get a running desktop manager at all? Or do you have just pure X?

I guess one of the things you can do is to install GNOME or KDE and try using them as your desktop manager. See if it works for you.
Then you can decide on the further course of action, and what to do in order to restore functionality of Unity desktop interface

I've been mining LTC for the last couple of month since I joined the mining crowd.

are you logged on to X? I came across similar error when I was starting the cgminer over ssh, without a user logged in to KDE.
