1  Economy / Exchanges / Re: bitcoin did not credited to account balance at bittrex on: January 18, 2018, 08:55:38 PM
They responded 1/17 to my support ticket opened 1/12.

I would like to inform you that we have detected and credited a BTC deposit that was previously marked as an orphan due to the amount of time this transaction remained unconfirmed on the bitcoin block chain.

Please make sure to use the proper fee when sending your transaction so that it will be confirmed in an adaquate amount of time on the block chain.

Your deposit history will now show this transaction as credited.

If you need any further assistance please reply to this message to keep your request open.

Best Regards,

So annoying to receive two emails from them after opening my support ticket, the first to say the request has been received, and the second to rattle off another long list of common issues/links to FAQs.

** PLEASE READ THE BELOW TIPS REGARDING DEPOSITS AND REPLY TO THIS EMAIL, OR VISIT (link), TO UPDATE YOUR TICKET IF YOU NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE.**

I can't even understand what they want me to do, I guess if I don't email them back (or update my ticket) they will consider my issue closed?
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: btc sent with low fee stuck for a week on: January 11, 2018, 10:33:41 PM
2/4 of the transactions went through today, I assume 'cause of bumping them at instantbtc.net.

Now I'm having this problem with Bittrex discussed here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2644729.new#new

 Cry

Thanks for the help though.

same problem here, two transactions, both have 120+ confirmations, they show in deposit history, not credited

Thanks for the links, I tried confirmtx.com about 24 hours ago, haven't seen any progress yet.

I'm a little bit wary about posting my TX ids atm bc last time I posted info about a transaction I saw an attempted login to my wallet that I definitely didn't attempt.
I guess I'll wait another couple days.
6  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / btc sent with low fee stuck for a week on: January 09, 2018, 09:25:01 AM
Sent some btc on 1/3/18 from blockchain.info using their "lowest recommended" fee, 116-137 sat/b, varied on each transaction.

Still 0 confirmations on each. Will it get sent back or go thru eventually?

I intentionally did the low fees because it's not a time sensitive send.

^this link contains explanation of some error messages, but not ones discussed in this thread.

Any efficient way of doing this or do you just have to wait for fees to go down?
E.g., I have ~1.4k in btc spread over 22 different addresses. None of the addresses holds more than $200. So I'm looking at like $100 in fees.

If time sensitivity is not an issue, and you send btc with a tiny fee, like way below the recommended, is it just going to get stuck and returned, or will it go through eventually?

Thanks for the help guys  Grin, found the btg at the change address.  Kiss

This forum is killing me btw. Having to wait 6 minutes to post after logging in, wtf. And the fee to join. There are always good people on these forums but man do they suck to use.

+1 same issue for me trying to generate a btg address, and an xmr address. I can generate btc, bcc, waves addresses just fine.
My account is NOT verified but that obviously has nothing to do with this issue. Why would your account have to be verified anyway to deposit coins??
11  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: redeeming btg from btc held on blockchain.info on: December 29, 2017, 08:04:04 AM
I also noticed that Blockchain.info started to offer support for Bitcoin Cash, but there are no option to import or sweep Bitcoin Cash from paper wallets. I would have thought that they would include that feature for the people who use their service.

I think they only included the wallet for BCash, to enable people to sell BTC for BCash and visa versa. <cashing in on the trade fees?>

Their support for bch definitely seemed like a cash grab. IIRC They were charging like 20-25% in unexplained fees to convert bch to btc. There didn't seem to be a note about what the fee was for or anything, like it was just their administrative fee. (?) I think they were just trying to take advantage of people who only use one wallet and didn't want to open a new one. Personally I just sent my bch to bittrex to exchange it there.
12  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: redeeming btg from btc held on blockchain.info on: December 29, 2017, 07:53:57 AM
Thanks for the info guys, I didn't know about btg explorers.

Ok so here's the original transaction in blockchain where I received 1.85 btc to the address 1EtuLFnTQt9sEWpQYnPUFVJrocEEbSbVWb. This is the "used address" that I mentioned in OP that I tried to enter the private key for in Coinomi and was told it's empty:

When I input the transaction ID into btgexp.com it shows the transaction...

...and clicking to the next step it appears to show I've sent out the entire amount...

...continuing...

It shows that I sent the btc out in two transactions. The 1.75 btc send is accounted for in my blockchain.info history, the other send for just over .1 btcs, is not. Furthermore this .1btc is accounted for, it's currently sitting in the blockchain.info address that I'm trying to get the btg for. This is the "current address" I mentioned in OP. I received 1.85 btcs, sent out 1.75, and should have .1 left over at that address. This certainly appears to be the case according to blockchain.info. However the btgexplorer seems to be suggesting I sent the .1 btcs out to a different address.
Now I'm even more confused haha  Huh
13  Economy / Web Wallets / redeeming btg from btc held on blockchain.info on: December 29, 2017, 12:42:57 AM
Hi,

I am new to this forum so apologies if I have posted in the wrong forum. I wasn't sure if this was solely a blockchain.info problem so I have posted here instead of in the Web Wallets section.

Using Coinomi, I am trying to redeem btg from btc that I held on blockchain.info at the time of the btg fork on 10/24/17. I am referencing the following article from Coinomi support on how to get private keys from blockchain.info in order to redeem the btg. https://coinomi.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/29000013719-how-to-get-bitcoin-cash-from-many-wallet-software-services-with-coinomi

I have run the standalone tool attached to the article, entered my seed, and it spits out a list of my blockchain.info addresses and their private keys. I cross-check these and they match up to what is listed within my blockchain.info account. So far so good.

The problem is that when I enter the applicable private key for the blockchain.info btc address that I believe held btc on 10/24, Coinomi says "there are no funds in this wallet." Of course I have double checked that there indeed were/should have been btc in the wallet on 10/24. I received btc to the address in question in August and I don't see any transactions out of this address at any point after that. (I only do a few transactions per month, I'm not wading through hundreds of transactions, so there's little likelihood that I'm somehow missing something.)

In blockchain.info, when you go to settings>addresses, and then click on "manage", there is a section at the bottom for "used addresses." I've looked at the used address for the wallet I'm trying to redeem btg from and it says its balance is 0 btcs. I've entered the private key for this address into Coinomi all the same to check that the btg isn't tied to it.
So I have one "current address" for this wallet, and one "used address" for this wallet, and neither of them have the btg, and I've checked that the btc were in that wallet on the applicable date. What am I missing here?
Thanks.
