In the light of the recent news and incidents, I feel the need for an open exchange. Where our btc is safe and that we 100% sure they are safe. No problems with btc withdrawals whatsoever.
I want to develop such an exchange but do not know how to go about it. If those with ideas and input would show me the way I believe I have the necessary drive and connections to accomplish this.
The exchange must be transparent, meaning publicly auditable. Secure from hackers and bad intentions. A place where 2 parties can trade fiat and crypto or securities between each other securely.
How would one go about this? Especially the open part? How can an exchange be trustworthy?
Thanks for your comments , ideas , criticism
Sounds like good idea, but do you have knowledge needed to develop it, manage it, and secure it? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Or how much bitcoins do you have and how much you want to pay people to do this? ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Hello I am determined to provide bitcoin users with a open exchange. I am willing to invest capital into this and more importantly my business knowledge and contacts. Im just not sure on how to go about having an open system so people can feel safe about their btc being in cold storage safely. Obviously providing the safety will be upto the exchange. But what is the best way to store them? Securely and openly! This is the part that I need help with. Thanks

A vote is always a good way to determine the truth. It's how we discovered the world is flat.
This has nothing to the with the world being flat. This is a genuine question about a human being from a human being to human beings. So its relevant what peoples sixth sense says. I do believe he had something to do with it. And he is guilty until proven innocent.

1030XBT bought yesterday
SecondMarket is becoming notorious now for completely missing lows and then buying during some extremely overbought condition afterwards. Maybe they are permabulls..

Hi all Just wanted to warn you about a particular website dealing in bitcoins. Also maybe one of the geniuses out there can shed some light on the issue since the website in question has totally ignored me and refused to give any kind of sane explanation. I copied and pasted the address in the deposit section of www.anonibet.com in my wallet and sent away 0.05 BTC never to see them ever again. I complained to the site and they said that the address didnt belong to them. I took a screenshot of the exact address I copied and pasted in my wallet from their website ( also gave the blockchain link ) but they ignored me . I smell a scam. If there is any other logical explanation to this, I want to know. If the website is a scam I want everyone to know. Thanks for reading.

DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT buy from BFL . Liars , cheaters , scammers. KnC look good also http://cointerra.com/ look solid. Do your math right, difficulty is going up fast. You may not even make your money back. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparisonAlways do your math and research before investing your money. If you wanna do it for fun you can always get a Jalapeno or even mine with your smartphone.

First of all you dont "NEED" a car just like you dont need to breathe, you choose to need a car. Personally, I sold my car and invested in Bitcoins and in 2020 I will get one of those self driving Mercedes because I DESIRE one to drive me around while I look at my Bitcoins on my big touch screen listening to ice cube and 2pac.

Are there any upcoming event to destabilize BTC? OR is it smooth sailing as far as the eye can see?
Are there any websites with landmark events that have happened and is going to happen. Maybe we can see how it has and will effect BTC price?

Im looking at 5 minute trades and volumes on 3 major exchanges hit over 1.5K. It happened in an instant. Whale dump prehaps? What way will it go in the next 12 hours? Will it go further down?
Depends how many people panic! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) If it goes down it will be subdued though and won't stay there for long. Volume? Where do you see volume? On gox and stamp I see 20k-30k volume. high volume on these exchanges is about 100k.
