Let's just say that I along with all those who work with anlysis would not agree to that the programmers are more important than the leadership. A good idea without solid leadership is like a fast boat without a rudder, it's doomed to fail. On the other hand, a solid and experienced leadership can make even a mediocre concept work and prosper.
If the leadership is there and just has had a bit of a mishap with communication and making themselves visible, I'd advise you as a campaign manager to pass on these concerns up the ladder.
If they are serious, this is really an issue that could be fixed within a few minutes.

Wow, this is going to be a good one.

Their staff and advisors only internet record comes from their own website.
And the website is actually anonymized using Proxy, LLC. I have mentioned before that this is a common hiding place for dubious (why the still go there I do not know).
As often happens with pseudo-scientific endeavors, they proceed to discredit the scientific community for not backing them.

In the whitepaper there are several examples of poor use of scientific terminology, such as "radioactive radiation". I am no expert in this nuclear physics stuff, so I am probably not the best to decide on how good their science is, but checking for peer reviewed articles is a good starting point. Oh what a surprise, there is non to be found.

You could say that the scientific backing of this project is brave, I would just say is unfounded.
Alchemy is a long forgotten practice, and belongs in the discarded pile, old do not mean good,
only in Zelda are ancient technologies better then current once.

It should be obvious, but stay away from this project. It is not crypto currency or bitcoin related and has nothing to offer the community.

So i can not find any information about how the company has been financed so far, there has to have been quite a lot of cash spent though.
and what is the thing with nine advisors? first of all if you need nine advisors you are not really any good at what you do!, secondly anyone that has run an Advisory board knows that having more then three advisors becomes unmanageable, and the advisors are getting 3% of the total tokens, then you wonder what they have done to deserve that? feels a bit like an over worked marketing ploj, not a bad thing just a bit over worked.

The product has a potential to make it, i like the special ideas.

So all in all This is worth an investment with a stronger more experienced team i would have said it could have been a home run,
especially a stronger presentation about how they are to reach critical mass and whom will be doing that, the action plan or the executor is not clear, but over all it is worth an investment.

Benebit will be getting some of my hard earned cash.

(On the name, im guessing it is like Benefit that they cutely changed to Benebit, also an over worked marketing ploy.)

Just landed in the foggy town of London after a long flight from the West Coast,
so this analyzation will be short and sweet.

At a first glance this Startup looks interesting, loyalty programs are interesting,
and have not been getting a lot of attention lately, the coupon world has become driver and
loyalty programs have taken a backseat role, so there might be an opportunity here.

So lets start as usual with the Team, from the white paper we see a listing of CEO, CTO, COO, CFO, CMO and three developers,
and they have worked at high end places like Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Vodafone and so on, and that is all good but here is the kicker, non of them has had a senior position or have any experience of running a startup! and I could not find them on CrunchBase or AngelList!

Not that that has to be a killer but it looks a bit like some smart consultants that have had an idea,
and are going for founding the ICO way.

On the good side it looks like all the team is on LinkedIn and and have been with the startup for some time, also they have endorsements and recommendations so the risks of it being false accounts are very low.
So it is all looking really good only question would be that it is a slightly inexperienced leadership team, non of them has founded or built-up a company from scratch with all that that implies.

Last question for this post would be that on Linkedin, the whole team has been with the project for quite some time,
how that been financed?

Good Morning Frank, here the sun just came up and I’m sending this from my iPhone so please excuse any spelling mistakes.
My analyzing is just done the same way we do it at the Venture Capital investors here at Sand Hill Road, nothing special.

You start with finding out about the management team, as developers do not lead them selfs, and a management team with out a solid track record is rejected form start even if there is a good product, as for for evidence, which is a strange thing to ask for, as it is not brain surgery to go in and look at Whois.com and LinkedIn.com, internet is your friend, and it is standard tools by any investor worth his money.

So the lead team (no founders that we can find) are, listed as on webpage,

Kimesha Naidoo - Relationship Manager

So let’s start here, first interesting part is that there is only an Assistant Manager no Manager, what is that about? They are saying that they are creating a global payment system, I do believe that needs more then an Assistant Manager, out of 17 people listed there is not one full Manager, no CTO no CEO no nothing, if we would have a look at PayPal’s investment presentation when they started,I do not believe that they did not have a full management team in place and listed them.

Anyway let’s now have a look at what is listed.

Investment Rule #1: Founders and Team should be listed on LinkedIn with the Organization they are looking for money from, or DON’T INVEST

Ok, Lourens Swanepoel there are loads of, most in South Africa, but non that works at DIMPAY or even list them. Moshimane Kholane listing expert? I have worked as an analyst for more then a decade, but never heard the title listing expert before, AND he don’t exist on LinkedIn either.

Ok at this point there is no reason to keep analyzing these guys and of course no point to analyze the product as there is no change in hell that this team could make a product and deploy it globally and compete with PayPal, this investment is a DEAD DUCK.

Ok so we have the URL of the project, https://www.dimpay.io/ , so let’s see what we can find about that address.

After checking Whois we don’t really get a lot of info but there is some stuff that is interesting, the URL was registered in November “Creation Date:2017-11-14T11:09:05Z“ data feels like cutting a bit close for a planned December ICO, the there is not much more to find as the owners are using https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domains_by_Proxy, an organization to anonymize owners of URLs, not in anyway an illegal practice, but a bit strange and do not create a lot of confidence.

Looking at the website itself it is hosted by Cloudflare a normal hosting, but the website claims Copyright 2015 - 2017 for a URL registered in November 2017 that is peculiar, is it so that we should believe the project has a stronger foundation then what is has?

Non of this information is really creating any strong feelings of trust.
And there is no contact information anywhere, no address, no nothing, it is like a ghost.

But let’s move on to the team, stay tuned more to come

I start with looking for the founders in the white paper and announcement, so there is no founders presented in the announcement or in the white paper, and the announcement is done by User FrankNoland that in the Bio say that he is from Germany, frankNoland lists his homepage to be https://www.studiokhumo.co.za, a South African marketing company.

After checking out the DIMPAYs website we are in luck and find the Leading Team and Team listed, we can though not see any Frank Nolan listed so let’s guess it is a rented marketing company and the founders are not announcing their own project.

Still it do not not say who the founders are, and we see a pretty big team 17 people without counting the Advisors, there are though only 3 advisors, so that is a good number.

As this with no listed founders makes me a bit curious, I’m going to have a look at the Internet info that we can find.

I like the Idea with a P2P, consumer 2 business payment system, so to me  DIMPAY looks interesting as a concept, so let’s say their elevator pitch has got me interested, but before I give them my hard earned money I will want to find out more about the project and the people behind it, as everyday there are good project presented at business schools all over the world,  but that do not mean that these projects are worth investing in.

So what will I look for? As a great investor once explained to me, a startup can be analyzed by looking at it as a horse race, there is the horse and that is the product and then there is the rider and that is the team, a good horse with a bad rider never win, over all a bad rider never wins, an average horse with an average rider never win, an average rider can win on a good horse, but a good rider can win even with a bad horse.

So the first thing I am going to analyze is the Team of DIMPAY.
Then I will analyze the product, and lastly I will analyze potential ROI.
