Is there a way of adjusting intensity? Id like to dial it down just a notch.

So I dont have a fix so far, but I have a workaround:
:start <your miner configuration goes here> goto start
works brilliantly. Miner stops and this just resumes it.

Hey folks, reaching out to see if anyone has seen or knows how to fix this problem: on a GeForce 1070 when mining for ETH ever since I had to stop using Claymore due to it no longer working ive had this issue whereby regardless which software I run (Phoenix, Lolminer, T-Rex etc) the software will run anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours and then just stop and close. Software will sit at the Pause command at the end of the batch file waiting to exit. No error messages shown of any sort. On another system with a 3070 I have no issues, so its just this one rig. Geforce drivers updated to latest (clean install), power limit set to 70% via MSI Afterburner etc. Claymore ran for years without a problem so im running low on ideas as to what compatibility issue im running into now.
Do you have an operating system? If windows 7 or 8, reinstall to windows 10. DO NOT use the latest drivers, choose something from 2018-2019 depending on the cuda version you want. Have you tried gminer? Win10 Pro, I havent tried Gminer yet so ill give it a whirl next and see if the results are any different.

Have you tried another pool? Im thinking there is something you have to add to the miner command line for MPH pool. Try ethermine or nanopool and see if same problem.
Tried nanopool, no difference on the stability front, miners still randomly shut down. Nanominer though seems to have an auto restart function, guess ill have to play with that (though I rather be using phoenix)

Here is how the miner looks like when it stops:

Have you tried another gpu in the motherboard that's stopping to mining? It might be that the graphic card is overclock? If you are using msi afterburner or other pls uninstall or reset and try again, memory overclocking can cause this problem too
I unfortunately dont have another GPU to test with on that board, my 3070 is part of another build. I had an overclock on before (50 on core and 400 on memory) that I removed and put all back to stock including power back to 100. That has made no difference.

Are you using the latest version of Phoenix miner? Version 5.4c: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2647654.0Check the riser cable if you're using one And the most important, leave at stock settings, 100% power limit, no memory or core clock overclock, and let run for a day Maybe your card doesn't handle overclock like before Alternative: you can use Nicehash, and the nicehash miner "excavator", this app will restart miner if some issue happen Yes latest version of all programs, no riser cable. Yes I was going to try to switch to a product that auto restarts next but that really wouldnt solve my problem per say, just work around it somewhat.

Last night I spent a couple hours trying to connect XMR-STAK to miningpoolhub, with no success. I read the instruction thoroughly. The system appears to have it's own login, where I place my own wallets that I did do. For reasons unknown, I just can not get XMR-STAK to connect. It keeps throwing out error: SOCKET ERROR - [us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20580] CONNECT error: GetAddrInfo: Name or service not known I tried connecting using SSL "pool_list" : [ { "pool_address" : "ssl://us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20580", "wallet_address" : "myusername.myworker", "pool_password" : "x", "use_nicehash" : false, "use_tls" : true, "tls_fingerprint" : "", "pool_weight" : 1 },
], and get a different error: [ssl://us-east.cryptonight-hub.miningpoolhub.com:20580] 140551865235040:error:2006A066:BIO routines:BIO_get_host_ip:bad hostname lookup:b_sock.c:146:host=ssl I can ping the address. I tried "use_tls" both TRUE and FALSE. I feel like I tried every option. XMR-STAK is listed on the site's list of software to use. Does anyone else use this pool service, can I get any advice please? I dont use XMR-STAK but I do use Xmrig and it connects to 20580 (Monero) without issue (tested a minute ago). So youre likely configuring XMR-Stak incorrectly or something else is wrong on your end.

So i put in the US server ip in my miner (45.79.223.173) with the same port and it connects to the US server and everything is running smooth. Hope this helps anyone who's still dealing with a high ping. Name: us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com Addresses: 172.104.106.153 139.162.66.203 172.104.180.119 139.162.73.35 139.162.138.168 172.104.127.76 45.79.223.173 172.104.189.59 Can we use any one of them? Either way ive seen no difference in mining results having a 200+ ping versus a 45'ish one when you look at it at the ipaddress site with " us-east.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com" entered it lists the countries with each ip address so for me the US one is the one i wanted and its working. Nice, so this looks like an MPH configuration problem as us-east should only be US East coast and not servers from all over the world. And yet all of them are not US east except for one. Good catch!

I don't understand, when I lower voltage, my I/s falls from 168 to 147 and Sol/s falls from 315 to 275, but my Shares per second, for what I receive payment, don't change. Does it mean that difficulty of share also vary and I will get less money or not? Is hashrate more valuable than shares per second?
If difficulty can go lower to accommodate your lower hash rate then it will do so. There is a limit of how low a difficulty can go, set by the pool. But yes hash rate is more important as youre solving bigger pieces.

MPH shows my hash rate as substantially higher than what the miner is showing (its estimating based on last 5 minutes of shares). So for some pool appears to be lower, while for others like myself it appears to be higher. Not sure if this is related to the miner or just share luck. The amount of rejected shares does concern me a bit, its around 0.5%

I'm wondering, if Bminer sol/s is showing net (dev-fee deducted) rate or not?
Looks like pool side is around 10% lower than actually sol/s rate showed by bminer...
Cheers, Andy
It actually shows all sols computed by the bminer. Note that the number remains the same even the devfee is turned off (which does not submit devfee shares but it disables *quite a few* optimizations). Did you turn off devfee? You might want to try it again with devfee turned on. Thanks. Im curious what these optimizations do?

Im half expecting it to become Ethereum New, and then Ethereum Classic will rebrand as Ethereum, at which time Ethereum New will rebrand as Ethereum Best.

The 20 second cutoff in the config for older workers doesnt seem to be working, old Bminers still going. In MPH im getting new workers showing up as workernamer.workername, im guessing thats due to two Bminers on same system using same worker? This didnt occur in 5.0b nor does it occur when I run Bminer directly.

Hi, A few months ago MiningPoolHub switched my mining power to XVG. I had been mining SXC and I think there was a fork in the wallet software?
Now I'd like to get a payout on the Verge (XVG) I mined during that time, but I can't enter a wallet # into the Verge payout page (the textbox is disabled). How do I get a payout on my Verge coins?
John
The box on the right copies from the wallet box on the left. Enter your address there
