Here is mining proxy- command line

mining_proxy.exe -o stratum.btcguild.com -p 3333 -gp 8331 -cu i3lome_1 -cp x

8331 is the port where you should point your blade.

Thank you for all the help I got one of the blades working on this setup. I don't know how to make a miner .bat file in order to use bfgminer. I tried using notepad but that didn't work, lol.

I am running 3 blades on BTCguild but they shut down the getwork proxy and I cant get the bfgminer to recognize my blades. can someone using BTCguild help me get all 3 of my blades up and running. Also, I already have 9 usb block erupters running on bfgminer 3.1.4 already. Windows 7 64x

Thank you so much.  Huh Huh

EDIT: I have also tried using Stratum mining proxy, but I can't get it to work for BTCguild.

Which mining site will I be able to run these without a computer? Thank you for the help.

any asic coin that has getwork can be mined from the blade itself without the need of a computer

Well, my blades are hashing but none of the work is showing up on my account in slush's pool and the mining_proxy.exe keeps giving me this message; clean_job:false

IP   192.168.1.200
Mask   255.255.255.0
Gateway   192.168.1.1
WEB Port   8000
Primary DNS   8.8.8.8
Secondary DNS   8.8.8.8
Ports   8332,8332
Server addresses   api.bitcoin.cz,api.bitcoin.cz
user:pass   ----------,------------

this is what I finally got after changing my main IP address and getting to the configure page, but I my blade isnt hashing. If I use slush's pool can my blade mine without my computer being on and can someone help me configure my first blade so I can do the rest? Im a newbie when it comes to any of this and I don't understand proxy or stratum and so on so please be nice. Thanks

no, Slush's Pool doesn't support the Getwork protocol. This is why he wrote the Stratum proxy. the blade talks to the proxy and the proxy(on your computer) talks to the pool.

So if I switch to the stratum.bitcoin.cz:3333 would that work without my computer being on?

I have everything hocked up and ready to go, but I cant get the IP page to load and when I type in my IP which is 10.0.0.1 its xfinity it only brings me to my login page. The lights on the router are blinking orange and my xfinity pages says the UNKNOWN devices are offline. How do I change them to online so I can start mining with these new blades? Thanks

Honestly, the way people are looking at this new seller is ridiculous, he is just offering an alternative for people, its like Mcd's and BK they offer basically the same things at slightly different prices, but ultimately it's "YOUR" decision. No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to purchase from one or the other. Give this guy some slack and go watch some reruns on TV or go back to your MMORPG. Thank you kind sir for the service you are offering to everyone.  Wink

Okay, I will see what I can do to get a hold of some bitcoins without going through someone else charging 5% or more for every 10 bitcoins. I want to purchase some Blade erupters but I don't have the bitcoins yet.

Mtgox prices are higher due to difficulties to withdraw dollars there, so Bitstamp gives a better idea of the Bitcoin market price.
Localbitcoin price may be higher than on bitstamp depending on how many sellers are at your location.
Btc-E has kinda low prices, because (afaik) it's difficult to get dollars into there.

Okay, thanks for the info. I will look into all the steps for withdrawing bitcoins to usd on each market. I am Located in the US of A-holes....  Wink Roll Eyes Grin

Awesome guys, thanks for the advise. I will try to talk to the guy about pricing and see we can reach a middle ground. I will look over btce and check their market data for the past week or so.

19  Other / Beginners & Help / Buying bitcoins??? on: September 03, 2013, 04:46:06 PM
I have been looking at bitcoins and I was wondering which market should I use to get an idea on how much the bitcoin is really worth? Mt. Gox, bitstamp, btce, or campbx? thanks guys for the help. I personally think bitstamp is more stable, but you guys are the experts.

Jungle?? Is this a good thing or bad? I know a lot about bitcoins and the market, but when it comes to mining all I have is an overpriced USB block erupter. lol
