4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: AMD R9 290X? on: February 28, 2014, 09:17:38 AM
I have troubles with mining at itencity over 14 - the driver/card crashes, cgminer shows 0.00/0.00 hashrate.

I'm using win 8.1, catalyst 14.1, PSU 1250w, 8gb, stock gpu, memclock and voltage.  TC is 35765. Please help.

With -I 14 I have around 660 khash/s. Please help.

RIP, Gox.... Sturle, you owe me 1 BTC.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Motherboard of choice for 6 or more GPU's on: February 13, 2014, 07:13:00 AM
I've just succesfully launched 4x7990 on Asrock FM2A88X Extreme6+, Win8
7  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Running MSI Radeon HD 7990's on: February 13, 2014, 06:33:33 AM
Thank you, Eastwind - Win8 helped! Now I see all GPUs, thought the problem might be with one of pci-e slots. Still have a trouble with a low hashrate on one gpu, but I think I will resolve it.
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Running MSI Radeon HD 7990's on: February 11, 2014, 10:14:46 PM
guys... just tried to put 4 7900 into on rig - failed. I use 1-16 powered risers, two PSU 1250 and 1000w. My win7 sees only 6 GPUs, one of them work on low memclock/gpu regardless of MSI afteburner settings. I tried various slots on my MB ASrock FM2A88X Extreme6+ - same results. Any ideas?
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon 7990 hardware errors on: February 08, 2014, 08:36:12 PM
I use the following arguments:  -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-powertune 10.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Radeon 7990 hardware errors on: February 08, 2014, 08:15:31 PM
I have 2x7990 in a rig. One core throws approximately one hw error per hour. Is it a problem and what can be a reason? Here is my cgminer screenshot http://prntscr.com/2qpk0l
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon 7990 - same rigs, different temperature. on: January 27, 2014, 03:05:50 PM
1.05 didn't work, cgminer crashes after some 5-10 minutes. Ok, I will swithch the PSUs and see if it helps.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Radeon 7990 - same rigs, different temperature. on: January 27, 2014, 02:30:18 PM
Thank you for the recommendations.

I'm using the gold certified OCZ ZX 1000W, current voltage is 1.06, core 1000 memory 1400. I will reduce the voltage to 1.05 and see what happens.

The other story - how much power will 4x290x require? Thanks.
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Radeon 7990 - same rigs, different temperature. on: January 26, 2014, 06:30:30 PM
I have two scrypt rigs, each 2x7990. They are very similar - identical MBs, ram, CPU, chassis, fans, OS, drivers. The only noticeable difference is the PSU - 1000 and 1250w. I use the same settings (clocks, voltage) but the rig with 1000w CPU makes both cards approximately 10 degrees hotter. Any ideas why?

SEPA transfers take D+1 days, not minutes.  The explanation for SEPA delays can be found earlier in this thread (someone even called their bank to hear it from them), and everyone else are bored by hearing it over and over.  SEPA has been delayed for the same reason since they changed to the Polish bank more than a year ago.
Let's make a bet - 1 BTC - that in 30 days time nothing will change.
Regarding SEPA, yes.  Their  limit will not change until they have completed their registration as a financial institution.

Regarding other fiat withdrawal option, I expect most of their problems will be resolved within a month, and the fastest fiat withdrawal option (except domestic JPY and manual express international wire) to take less than a week before Christmas.  I'm willing to bet 1 BTC on this.

sturle, you can send my 1 BTC to 1Hk5ieasp6o2k2LpUFjzqjKV8Auj3FUxAU

Right. If Mt. Gox 1) had the money, and 2) wanted to pay it out, they could find a way. It really isn't hard to send money if you have it.
very true....

Actually, the highest BTC price on the market is explained solely by unability to withdraw money from mtgox. It means  your dollars "inside" mtgox cost less... or nothing. Actually, less untill you can convert them to btc and withdraw. That was exactly my choice.

All this fax-related-slow-bank-bla-bla stuff does not explain delays with the SEPA transfers. In order to make one, mtgox must have an account with an EU based bank. (I assume they have an account with a Polish bank, since they charge min 5 PLN of banking fee.) Usually, SEPA transfers ARE fully automated and it takes MINUTES for the funds to appear on the account. It makes me think that they are broke and make withdrawals (if any) from newly deposited funds.
18  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Withdrawing BTC from MTgox 'Invalid bitcoin address, please confirm your input' on: September 27, 2013, 07:21:02 PM
mt.gox shows a considerable growth in btc volume today - (Volume:23321 BTC) that, together with the increase in btc price (high:142), makes me think that people try to buy btc and withdraw them from mt.gox.
19  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: mtgox, bitstamp, btc-e. any other large volume exchange? on: September 26, 2013, 09:39:47 PM
I also found https://www.bitcoin.de/en but it ratherlooks like a p2p trading platform to me.

mtgox's reply to my btc withdrawal problem ticket...........

Hello,

Thank you for contacting us. It appears the error is triggered from the platform for few BTC withdrawals specially, we are currently investigating on the cause and the solution. However please drop a line if you were able to withdraw after a while. We appreciate your patience and sincere apologies for the inconveniences caused.

Best regards,

Mt.Gox Team
