Blockchain would create a permanent record where data cannot be changed or removed. This raises all sorts of problems for education, particularly if we view learning as a process of growth and change. There are some good questions "What happens if the data on the blockchain is wrong? What happens if the data is prejudicial, re-inscribing the prejudices that data collection and school practices already enact?" Of course it's a;ways hard to accept something new, that's why there are a lot of doubtings or even rejection among public..But I'm sure that each system could be devoloped till the ideal form) I think that blockchain will change educational system and solve current problems and when ordinary people will realize how blockchain "works," and accept smt new we could start to change) The problem is that ordinary people hesitate doing that. Maybe, some educational projects like this could help them? |

Yes, we need altcoins. Not all of them, of course - there are many of them that can't be called other than trash. But there are projects and ICOs like disciplina.io or well, that can be really profitable and can change the world.

Education is the process of acquiring knowledge and skills.
It has nothing to do with morality, which is a social construct - and such a social construct that varies from country to country.
And the knowledge, the laws of nature and physics, remain the same.
I can't really agree with this statement. Knowledge without morality will lead us to heartless and mindless executioneers, never knowing where to stop and performing terrible things in the name of this knowledge. History knows the examples of it. So if we talk about giving people knowledge - we need to give them the basics of good and evil, right and wrong. |

Not in the next couple of years. It has a potential, yes, but know BTC rules like a king (of the hill), and we won't see ETH taking his greatseat any time soon.

You used to work as an ordinary educational service. Why did you decied to turn to blockchain platform?
TeachMePlease is an educational platform. But Disciplina is a blockchain for educational platforms. Its a different projects with different aims. ICO is for Disciplina, which is developing by TeachMePlease team. And again it gets clearer, for I was a little bit confused. Thank you for the explanation. |

Sometimes I dram of AR world, like Shadowrun or else.
I'd like to see this project integrated with others - like gaming projects or educational like Teachmeplease and a couple of others. Reality expands, and the human - in the thick of it, omnipotet and with the world's knowledge and entertainment on the tips of his fingers.

I completely agree with that. Moreover, it could be reform of the whole educational process! Actually, I really think that it could be breakthrough in sphere of education. Just imagine how could this bureaucratic system has chachged? There woudn't be corruption during the studying process as all information is stored in blockchain system. Btw, has nyone checked this out - teachmeplease.io? It's a blockchain-based education platform. Being a man of great love for learning I was glad to find them, but I'm not absolutely sure in their success - something holds me still yet. Any advices, community?
You mean, Disciplina-based educational ICO? I've seen it. They don't have MVP, though they say it will be ready by 2Q2018. Following their thread - they're quite responsive. You'd better go ask them. The idea is good indeed. I just don't get it - why do you need an ICO at all? Why not VC?
We’re developing a decentralized open-source blockchain platform, which will be available for free. That’s why we want it to belong not to only one investor, but to the whole community. Ah, now that makes some sense! Thank you for an explanation. I will come back to you with more questions. |
