im very sad today...

The very first thing Developers should do is to create a better wallet for TRIANGLE.
Who has got time to download and install 553MB setup file?
Please launch a better android/ios wallet.
We will do the marketing and will take you guys to mooon. :-)
the reason its 553mb is because the installer includes the blockchain boostrap.. which makes it easier for new users like yourself to enter the network ;] and that is the reason why... once you install you will be fully syncronized in a matter of minutes instead of days.. so you can start trading and staking them right away! also the TRI blockchain is very space efficient considering TRI is 3 years old and has very low blockchain bloat of only 822 MB compared to bitcoin and other coins.. not to mention the TOR and all the other great features this coin has to offer! anyways.. i hope you all had a great holiday and hope you all have a great new year! keep staking and hodling you know why! |

I'm glad to see Tri getting there shit together. What will TRi do after there run out of supply in a year? That is the big question?
Increasing the supply substantially is not fair for people that are long term holders but not doing anything without a resolution could kill the coin.
The only solution without increasing the supply might be to decrease the 33% stake to 3%
Also TRi could hard fork and create a binary chain and pay people staking with the other coin. hey it's me, your beloved dev!  here are a few cents: - i don't think the supply metrics need a change, they work fine. excellent even. it took TRI 3 years to double the outstanding supply. TRI has 33% PoS reward p.a. (great incentive to stake - that's what makes the coin interesting for most of you here from what i read) and supply is still below 100k. i can't see anything wrong here. - i will continue to host the (new, if someone builds it) site, block explorer, faucet, whatever needs hosting. if things really move forward with TRI, i will also setup a modern block explorer to replace the ancient Abe. i might even spend a few bucks for a proper ssl certificate - TRI is not abandoned! i feel i have to reiterate that. //wurstgelee i fully agree with you 1000% we should not change the specs! no forks! just minor wallet interface updates would be great.. like taking off the links to bittrex.. unless they decide to re add us.. that would be great too! we must not change what makes TRI so great in the first place.. no inflation no supply dilution! hopefully we can do a community effort to reach out and get back on bittrex.. after all they are still hosting full nodes.. HODL and keep staking you know why! |

Why triangle dev no activity from june 2016?  TRI is working fine. No need to do anything for me. Well this is a big surprise to see you post in here lol its been a long time since we have seen you dev! True there isn't anything you need to do as Triangles is working fine however do you have any plans to make Triangles useful for something? Right now its just a coin where people earn interest but has no real use so that is what I think people would want to see if Triangles can have a practical use in the world. No plans. I am the guy who fixed TRI after it got abandoned by the original dev (see "History" in 1st post) - nothing more, nothing less. I don't have the spare time at hand (and the motivation) to do more than a general monitoring of the overall TRI network condition - which is perfectly fine as of now. In case anyone else wants to step up and take matters in his or her hands (for example a new website), feel free to drop me a note. i have purchased the domain http://www.triangles.network/ and am ready to move forward..ive been really busy with other things in life..so excuse me. good things in life take time ;] if you got the time... lets brainstorm together.. please come to the discord and lets chat! ;] YOU know WHY! |

I think the total supply for triangle is low at 120.000 coins. i think it should be at 1 million or even higher at 5 million total coins supply. This way triangles can keep the 30% per year, or the percent can also be lowered to 10% or 20% per year. That is still a good return per year on triangles.
increasing supply will make this coin less rare.. i dont think you know why.. |

It's meant to be getting updated but not sure when. I also pointed this out about the site not working that it would potential scar off new investors but it doesn't seem to be affecting the price of Triangles. I think if Triangles has a working site and explorer then we might see a spike in price and new people coming into Triangles. exactly. considering the low circulating amount it could easily reach 500 dollars per coin.... uptrend? hmm well TRI has well over 30x already since last year..i would consider that a uptrend.. TRI network is only getting stronger.. BTC is up so is TRI.. most coins are bleeding.. TRI is the pump and hodl coin .. i do believe it can reach $500 too |

I successfully imported a paper wallet into the QT client. I can see the address already in the Qt client; however, the balance is 0 in the client (There is small amount tri coins actually) I can see the coins in the explorer. Thanks in advance
hi cool! if QT reads 0 the wallet is probably out of sync. let the client fully sync and the balance should show.. but if you are sycned.. you may want to try this command in the debug windows.. click help > debug > then console... type in checkwallet then press enter it will test your wallet for any errors.. if any errors are found you want to enter repairwallet command in the console. once everything checks out, file exit the wallet and reopen it should show the balance if ya have any troubles join the discord TRI help channels on the discord @ https://discord.me/triangles |

volume is low but value is still steady... no ones dumping many.. people want to buy but their orders are not being filled.. you know why... .. low volume probably because people are buying other coins at the moment.. TRI is still very much under valued.. i would just marketbuy instead of waiting.. or you can try to buy it for cheap if you like.. best of luck to all! |

Yes next time I'll go with my gut feeling as I should of when the price was under $2 lol We all learn from our mistakes and for me this was one of them. I have tried to access the site to download the Triangles wallet but I keep getting the insecure connection and can't access the web page to download the wallet as I do want to buy some Triangles and start staking but I can't because of this issue. I've tried it on 3 computers with different internet connections and still the same thing is happening.

Can someone explain to me why a low supply is remotely meaningful?
High supply or low supply should be irrelevant. At the end of the day the value of individual coins will always take this into account.
Low supplies will have higher cost per coin since there are less compared to the same coin but at a higher supply ;/
Why should I care if I own 1 coin of 100supply or 1000 of 100000supply.

LOL why dont you go back and use dollars.. i hear they have a huge supply ;p why should I care if you want a coin with more inflation or more supply? why dont you use zimbabwe dollars isntead ;d  if you love inflationary currencies.. coins with endless supply and low value.. you might want to find another coin and another forum .. this coin is not for you.. go buy some bitbean or bytecoin something else. but if your an investor who loves low inflation... rare coins.. with low supply than this is the one.. buy TRI |
