What is the deal with the faucet? "Sorry you need to bet more before drinking from the faucet again." How much do I need to bet- I've already done bets (though not today)? Also, lowering the amount so that more people could get some sounds like a good idea.
I think you have to be "broke" so...that you dont accumulate more Money @ Bitbook.biz : Is this true? Our goal with the faucet is to build interest for the bitcoin space, bitcoin betting, and to let people try BitBook for free. Given this, we have limited the number of times that a user can use the faucet if they never deposit, like a normal user. Our hope is that allowing people to try BitBook for free, allows users to see what a great experience bitcoin gaming is, and helps bring more users to the space! isn't the limit for the faucet lower than the minimum bet amount? Our normal min bet is 0.005 btc, but for new users trying the faucet we allow bets to be placed at 0.0001 btc. If a faucet user wins their balance up to our min. bet then we treat them like a normal user. Oh! Thanks for this info, I will definitely have to test now!

Everyone is scammer crazy here I recommend you go to hack forums.net ( it sounds sketchy but isn't ) find someone with a good amount of reputation and ub3r and that will work for you
or use btcquick.com
thank you for this advice, and by the way, how can I prevent myself from being scammed if I am sending with Paypal. I thought that all the risk was on the btc seller, but hearing that the paypal member can be scammed also makes this even more sketchy. Well if PayPal finds out that you are purchasing/selling Bitcoins, your account may get limited. You can always open a dispute if the seller scams you, but if they don't scam you, don't open a dispute. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) yeah, no again, im not looking to scam anyone. And I thought they only took repercussions against sellers of BTC?

OK... Before everyone screams scammer, as seems to go with every thread looking to buy btc with paypal... I want to first say, I am not looking to buy here. It seems way too difficult to gain trust (which I completely understand). So I'm mainly looking for suggestions on how I can legitimately buy btc with some of my credit limit to pay it off over time. Please feel free to refer me to sites that you would recommend and believe are trustworthy. I have been searching for a while, but the prices either seem exorbitantly high, or the ones with reasonable prices apparently have a way to scam the paypal user.
Again, please don't flame me and say I am not trustworthy, I am not trying to buy anyone's btc from here.
Thx for any suggestions people may provide!
edit: other options that I would be willing to hear would be things I could buy with my credit card, that can then be used to safely purchase bitcoins.

have there been any problems withdrawing btc from this site? I just put a bit on there to try it, but just want to make sure I can get them out before I risk too much on there.
I believe the current withdrawal and deposit problems are to do with a corrupt bitcoin wallet on the site, the other coins are not effected. what problems currently exist? and what do you mean by corrupt wallet? I just deposited some more btc and even though it has 40+ confirms, they don't show it there :\ There have been problems with BTC transactions for 2-3 days. RS is on Australian time and sleeping like a baby... He gets up every day at about 19:00 EST and you see him in Chat... Then he has to manually correct all the BTC transactions... Until a permanent fix is done. oh ok, so I shouldn't worry unless it goes like 24 hours w/o being credited? And thanks for the heads up... I just have trouble trusting some exchanges so started to freak out when I noticed the funds hadn't arrived.

i think in the grand scheme of things, a seizure like silkroad isn't really going to do much anymore... except maybe publicize btc's even more. even if they shut down v2.0, it'll just leave a void for another group to fill.
yeah, if anything, i think the feds holding all those bitcoins is increasing the demand making prices higher than they normally would be right now. And now that China has dumped so much money into it, I believe we won't really see a huge crash if we ever do see one. Exceptions would include some serious exploit that basically breaks the whole system, but lets pray something like that never comes about.

its so funny to see the varying responses in this thread over a matter of 7-10 days because of how much the market has fluctuated this week..

8 billion
lol... bit of an exaggeration... you forgot to take into account USA defaulting and a large portion of Americans dumping all their money into bitcoins.... 30 billion ;0

Welcome! Yes I have some tips: - Avoid investing in altcoins, mining hardware and Bitcoin securities unless you really know what you are doing. Most of those are bad deals. - Best start by buying a small amount of Bitcoins first to learn how to use and securely store them, before investing a lot
i agree with this completely, know what you are investing in. don't just dump your money because you hear you can make some money... if you don't look into securing your bitcoins, you may not like the result

There is no way to get USD from MtGox. Convert them back into BTC, transfer to Coinbase or CampBX and cashout from there.
thx

no... i mean i had bitcoins on mt gox, but sold them for cash, but it seems they don't cash out to US people. I was wondering if there is another way to redeem my cash or if i need to rebuy bitcoins and send to a different exchange Transfer to another exchange. You can do a wire transfer which should complete within the next 6-12 months, maybe years... I have a buddy who's been waiting about 3 months so far for his wire transfer. Word on the street is they can process 6 wire transfers a day? something like that. yeah, probably more that they CHOOSE to process 6 a day... especially with what happened with the US government, they are trying to make it back by being grimy

It s stupid, i dont gave any name so i can send the id of who i want... I understand know why they are ddos all the time ...
BTC worth 10k USD is a lot of money. I advise you to simply verify with your own ID and a utility bill. Get out of MtGox and out of dodge immediately when you become verified. Honestly: I don't get why anyone expects to be able to send that kind of money back and worth without providing basic information about yourself. Banks require you to show some form of ID when you open an account. The same thing applies to stock brokers. I agree with this completely... 10k vs. not showing your id? just send proof and get your 10k, that seems like a very fair deal lol...
