no... i mean i had bitcoins on mt gox, but sold them for cash, but it seems they don't cash out to US people. I was wondering if there is another way to redeem my cash or if i need to rebuy bitcoins and send to a different exchange

You can do a wire transfer which should complete within the next 6-12 months, maybe years...
I have a buddy who's been waiting about 3 months so far for his wire transfer.
Word on the street is they can process 6 wire transfers a day? something like that.
