I still think it is responsible to at least post once a week and say hey still here and I'm doing my best to honor my commitment to everyone that trusted me... It's not that hard to do... took me about 30 secs to write this... danleuthner

I need a little more information...
1.) I have 7 shares which was originally ~ 280 GH... Did we get any compensation? If so what and how much? 2.) If calculations are correct, bitcoinwindom... at $200 per month per machine and current bitcoin prices these machines are already lossing money.
If that is the case I would like a refund of my 7 shares.
thanks, Danleuthner

Is there any ability to under-clock these to get better efficiency?

I think you all are crazy, for what it is worth.
You are giving up about twice the hashpower for only slight heatsink costs. Have you guys done the math? What projections have this course of action making more money (or, more likely, losing less money) than converting to chips? I suppose if Marto takes over a month in completing the boards?
I am not giving more money for this r17 not for a longer wait time for power hungry gear. when are the x-3 coming, that is not even a done deal... we might get the hashing faster by taking the chips... and then having the boards made...

I think I will wait to buy the second batch after I see an actual product.

I feel truly let down. Not only by BA and their failure with hardware etc (thats somewhat expected in this new industry) but more so in the DZ mining Co Op as a whole. All this time I have had the impression that DZ, Thomas and Bobsag3 are really good guys and do their utmost to help and assist, however of late my feelings about this have changed.
They know things have gone horribly wrong, and yet although they have put some things in place, their customer service has gone down the toilet. In my eyes, some companies have to take a financial hit in order continue with their good name and reputation intact. The problem being that the hobby/business we are in is really about money and is reliant on things going to plan 1st time. Not only for businesses, but for customers.
Going very quiet when things go down the shitter and not honouring refunds upto the shipping date (even if that means your co op loses money) is just not on.
Thats three members of our community I hope to not have dealings with again. A refund really should be honoured, because what you promised has not happened. Whether thats your fault or not, DZ et al. I don`t care.
Get it done. Surely your other rounds have achieved enough money to enable at least partial refund?
At this point I disaggree with your take on the DZ being partically at fault... The hardware did not show up, period. Not much that can be done about that. DZ had nothing to do with that, and any shares we kept, with the hope of compensation, are going to be worth very little... that is the nature of pre-orders and it sucks!!! That said there are some options, and I think the chip option with using chips to pay for having them put on a board is the best option at this point... It will increase our total hashing by quite a bit, and likely be completed prior to the shipping of the x-3's. I Know that I will no longer do business with BA, but minersource has been pretty good so far, DZ a little quiet of late, but I don't feel that I have been ripped off (yet)... they could not control BA, and BA has failed in their promises... my 2 cents, that is about what it is worth - at least at the current difficulty, will be worth less in about 3 days.... danleuthner

agreed with the frustration a little... I would like an update on the plan of attack here. I have several shares and have not heard anything from the guys running the GB in a while. I am all for trading in chips, using chips to pay for the trade and then mining with what is left... or selling the miners after then have been upgraded... which ever looks to have the best return at the current bitcoin prices. It would great if there were some kind of vote or list of options that we could indicate we want to do (something more offical then the post a few days back that indicated minions for shares or new boards for more investment or new boards with services payed by minions, etc...
What are my options - what is are the time frames -

Is there any reason to not set the payout threshold to the minimum amount?
Pay less transaction fees I'm confused. Isn't it a 2% fee? If you're charged 2% on a $100 it's $2.00 If you have two transactions of $ 50 each each charge is $1.00 thus the same amount. Not having read the entire conversation, I think they are talking about bitcoin network transaction fees, not pool fees. So two tranaction would each cost (hence 2X transaction fees).

Any kind of update... aren't they shipping? I would take crappy overpriced hardware, over a cold hard F$%king...

I am in a DZ group buy and one of the owners of minersource is involved. They, not sure if it was minersource or DZ group buy, had invested heavily with BA in the past, helping to fund some of inital projects. This is based on comments i have read on the DZ group buy thread.
