Just a heads up from here.
This is something people who complain rarely do, spending time telling when the things theyīre complaining over are no longer there. However, I think itīs only good for we who use cryptopia if new potential account holders will be made aware that things are getting better there so that cryptopia can grow stronger and invest more in stability:

For the past days, order execution time has been a constant less than 2 seconds, as opposed to how it was for almost one month where it could take more than two minutes! In other words, it seems that cryptopia is finally done expanding their capacity and the testing of it.

Good job Cryptopia, please keep it this way!

EDIT: In fact I see the time going up now to between 3 and 9 seconds. Letīs hope this is very very temporary...

Hi guys,

i need one info.
How many users are not able to login after the change from PIN security to Email Code Security?

20 of april i've tried to login my account and see a message about the change from pin security to email code security by cryptopia decision ( and i can agree on that ).

But, the email code is not deliverd, so i've tried multiple time but wrong login message, support ticket, now the news of new support plaform, are delivered, but the email
code is not delivered.

I've tried also the "forgot password" but nothing, no email received.

I've sent multiple email to support@cryptopia, reset@cryptopia, but nothing.

I've sent direct message to Lafu suggested me to change the email provider, so writed to support for email change, but nothing, no response from support.

Is from 20 of April i'm not able to login my account and i'm unable to receive any type of support response.

Now Lafu stop also respond on direct message ( but for sure it's only a case ) and support don't respond.

The situation start to degrade at the end of february start of march, when deposit start to be delayed for a long time

( i'm waiting XMG from end of febrary! )

How many users are in the same situation?

Is possibile that someone at certain point decide to change the security of my account and don't give support on that?

I've seen some similar situation when i've losed all  my coin on coinex.pw and cryptsy.com, i hope now is different and it's only

a case, but receive support from support it's only my problem or someone other have the same issue?

Regards

Thatīs about the only problem I havenīt had recently with Cryptopia. I get the emails youīre talking about every time.

Those of you who are receiving emails from Cryptopia already know, but for everyone else, Cryptopia has announced new support centre available on this link https://support.cryptopia.co.nz/csm . They promise that users will get first response in less than 72 hours. Only time will tell if they will manage this but if they do, this is a huge advantage over other exchanges where waiting time can be weeks.

Theyīve already had this policy for a while, but it only means that someone will come back and tell you itīs been forwarded to the right team. I had that happening, and after a few weeks thereīs still no answer.

29 seconds for order execution, another day with losses. Could Cryptopia please prioritize this big issue for many of your clients? Incredibly frustrating! Sad

Any news on a fix to the slow order execution?

Yesterday I noticed an order waiting for 10 secs to get processed. Iīm accesing cryptopia via the API, and determined the time by looking in my log files at when the instruction was sent to you, and then when the websocket reported the order to go through. The actual API order confirmation took even longer: 11 secs for the response to the order placement, and about the same time till the order was showing as filled according to the api.

And just so we donīt have any misunderstandings here: This is not because I placed the orderprice lower than the current one; the order was filled at entries already in the orderbook before I submitted the order.
Apart from that, my pingtime to cryptopia is never exceeding 100 ms, and my internet connection speed is above 100 mbps.

6  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: April 25, 2018, 09:49:53 PM
We believe we have identified and corrected the recent
performance issues and the exchange is now stable.
We will continue to monitor the system closely and investigate further.
There may be further maintenance outages required in the coming weeks.

Thank you for your patience.

Not yet, alot of us are losing money because order can delay up to more than 2 minutes where the price is not the desired one anymore. During that period of time, no confirmation of the order being placed is received so that at least one would have a chance to cancel it when this kind of laggyness is spotted.

16 days and things still arenīt resolved. Iīd be careful to let more things like that happen if I was you as it really scares people away. Such a shame, you used to be rock solid.

Will xmv coin be available on Cryptopia exchange?

If Someone pay for the listing , maybe !
If not i guess then it will be not listed !

What is the timeline for fixing the recent issues with execution times of 30+ seconds and websockets that only work occasionally? Itīs very disappointing to see cryptopia becoming the new yobit.

These always have been, and always will be illegal. The difference now is the SEC will be hunting you down and fining you/placing you in jail. I'd recommend not joining these, because they're shady as hell, illegal and you'll be left holding the bag.

Good that "the SEC" has power over nomore than 4 % of the worlds population. I suggest that they build bigger prisons so that they can also hunt down poker players, sportsbetters, slot machine addicts etc. First of all though, they should stop short and margin trading. Thatīs the only thing where the mechanics can send you out with actual debt. Now THAT`s what I call shady.

I think this is not good for crypto world in general. Just a few guys win money.,,

But whatīs bad for the cryptoworld about it?
Betting on horses ainīt bad for horses, and also there few people make money.

I have a very different opinion about this pump group though it is limited to those that operated on bittrex exchange because they are always few minutes late and by the time the coin name is released the price had doubled and you will be buying into an already over pumped coin.

Is that a particular group or just your experience with various groups?
What youīre describing there is not uncommon, so itīs all about doing your homework to find out who you should put your faith in. I guess the easiest way is to monitor various groups and go to the exchange where the coin is announced to be pumped, and check trade history. Then itīs easy to see in the historical trades if there were unusual volumes bought in the minutes up to the point of the announcement. If thatīs the case, simply put a thumb down next to them in your research sheet.

I dont Know how many of you actually will read this

But i was a newbie back then joined this channel 2 months back have seen them grow like anything
Taken part in their pump and have made decent profit not sky high but ddecent.

Actually they provide all in all solutions ICOs Update, Airdrops, Signals Pumps

I joined their paid service even few days back, feedback yet to come coz market is all shit so can't blame them.

Now they have even diversified and started signals, portfolio management etc

They Also Have a giveaway Going On for Members Now

Am sure they will go a long way

Seems worth a try If any newbie wants

https://t.me/joinchat/AAAAAETKuHhIabpWNwaUgQ

Paid service is a red flag for me. The best groups simply donīt have that, hence thereīs a better chance for everybody. Once you got prepumpers, itīs alot more out of control if somebody dumps at a time where non-VIPs come out with a loss.
Why is market shit? Thereīs alot of good pumping going on over at cryptopia, people are just tired of the tiny ripoff groups (except for a few good ones, like execrypto or team pumps) at yobit plus all the tech problems that they have.
Anyway, I can see that their volume is decent so Iīll look into how strong their pumps are for non-VIPs - after all there could be something left, but yobits tradehistory will tell.
Thanks for sharing btw, good you had luck with them!
Dude Paid Day Trading Signals and Account Management for Traders No Paid VIP for Pumps.

ALso this group generates a volume of 0.6 BTC every pump

I am not shilling this channel but then just have a look.

They have diversified from just pump and dump to several services thats what I was telling

Day Trading Signals for VIP members and Account management, Assistance to newbies Joining Crypto World etc.

TBH its all in one group

No harm in having a look

Also they have a giveaway in twitter going on have a look at it

My bad, sorry. Paid service for anything but pumps is cool if it works! Will check it out, thanks.

Check out these guys... Moved from very successful pump and dump to avoid regulations, no bullshit. You know what you're getting t.me/PumpingPupper

Whatīs the story again? That somebody with 12 members in a channel is predicting regulations to come?
Sorry, just not so sure if I get it..
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Pump and Dump groups that are Good? Cryptopia on: March 12, 2018, 01:30:29 PM
Usually the price goes up quickly and then down again to where it came from within minutes - it does not lose itīs original value. Not sure really how that can harm a coin, and also I donīt see why people would lose faith in cryptocurrencies because of that. I assume that who sees cryptocurrencies in a serious way completely ignores the pumps and dumps. Theyīre there for players and cowboys, and not for long term investors who donīt need to really care about them.
I still miss to see anybody explaining whatīs harmful to crypto coins about the pumping. It looks like empty propaganda with as little value in it as the many pump groups with extreme promises that make no sense. But just like sportsbetting is only harmful for the fool who puts all his saving on a bad bet, but not for the sport itself, cryptopumps are not harmful for the cryptomarket, just for whoever decides to gamble with all that heīs got.

P&D is an allright thing to do if you donīt go in with your full savings account and have no expectations of winning more than a bit. Just ignore all the promises the ops give and practice for a while, itīs just for the fun - nothing else. Iīd rather do this and get away with 5 % a month than putting my money on a savings account with an interest of 0,3 pct per year, or play the lottery.

I came across a guy who seems to have reinvented the whole pumping idea, with a better chance to get a fair share, and is still starting up. Itīs a bit technical what heīs explaining there but it kinda makes sense and I donīt think somebody would invent a new system just to screw everyone like alot of the groups do with their prepumps and stuff.

16  Economy / Trading Discussion / Whatīs wrong with yobits execution time? on: March 03, 2018, 05:22:25 PM
Dear Fellas,

Itīs now many days in a row that I see the following:

I put a buy order pretty high over the lowest ask price, and wait for it to execute.
5-10 seconds later, the price has gone beyond the point of my order, and I have to cancel it - or itīll execute on a downtrend instead.
If I look at trade history, I see that there were no bidders with a higher price than mine for the next 5 seconds from the point that I have received order confirmation from yobit. I have taken into account the 4 seconds difference in time between my computer and yobits time.
In some earlier cases, I could see in the history that somebody had placed a higher bid than me at the same time, in which cases it makes sense that my order is not getting executed but whatīs happening now I just donīt get. Are their systems simply so limited and bottlenecked that even if youīre before other people with your bid, some sort of randomization may have you end up in the back of the queue instead?

I hope others can confirm this oddness, and perhaps even know a workaround for it...

17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The mechanics of orders on: February 12, 2018, 10:09:40 AM
That is my understanding.  And yes when it's moving quickly you have to go deeper into the order book for large orders otherwise you can have an order left open.

Thanks, so nomatter how low I set my stop price when selling, Iīll still get the best possible price, in accordance with the highest bids and their volumes in the order book, right?
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The mechanics of orders on: February 12, 2018, 02:48:59 AM
Dear All,

This question may seem noob to some, but so be it Smiley

If I ask to buy way higher than the current best ask price, I will still be filled at the lowest price, am I right?
And reversely, if I ask to sell way lower, I will be filled at the highest bid price(s), true?

Alot of exchanges donīt have market price that you can buy for, and if things move very fast, I need to put a higher price than the actual one when I buy, and the other way around. I get the feeling sometimes that when selling, my order is matched against some people way down in the order book below the best bids if I say I agree to sell like at 75 % under the current price, which I do to make it 100 % sure that Iīll get rid of what Iīve bought.
But perhaps itīs just the orderbook which has very few entries at the highest bid price...

Some clarification would be very useful.

Thanks in advance!
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Yobit issues? on: January 22, 2018, 10:29:14 AM
Dear Members,

Is it only me or does this exchange have issues allover the place again and again?
Hopefully getting their hardware upgraded soon, or whatever it takes.
On the positive side of things, I can confirm that wiring to and from yobit was not an issue to me. It took like half an hour to do so. Alot of people are shouting if they donīt have their money wherever they sent them to after an hour, but I think thereīd be less complaints if people had a lil more patience.
