1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bminer: a fast Equihash/Ethash/Tensority miner for CUDA GPUs (9.0.0) on: June 22, 2018, 09:48:10 PM
Works like a charm in terms of hashes but it does fry the cpu, at least in my rigs...I've checked the details at the web but can't find any "intensity" modifier or something like that, that could make the cpu usage lower, any help?¿ Smiley
2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Bytom Mining - ASIC algorithm now cracked by GPU miners? Big profits? on: June 18, 2018, 04:13:43 PM
Can others confirm a 1080 TI is doing ~1000 hashes on Bytom?

What are the system specs? CPU?

I have a sai/power limiter but @70% TDP i do get 770 hashes, with both rigs (i3-8100 3,60Ghz/8G ram/Win10) 1x asus strix rig / 1 evga rig (2ftw3/4sc's). Sadly I get constant crashes of the miner, I do believe its problem after updating Win, because I've tried with all the last drivers, in both rigs and it's the same s**t. BTW those values do consume around 190/195W, so I believe there's room to get the 1.000 @ 100%
3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: May 23, 2018, 06:44:54 PM
what is the equihash hashrate on the evga 1080 ti SC? On the Evga 1080 ti gaming ftw3 it is 720.

Not all cards hash the same so was looking to pick up some evga SC cards but not if they are hashing lower than 700

I have 2 FTW3 and 4 SC "Black Edition" cards in one RIG. Using DTSM 0.6.1 (250Watt, Clock +85, Mem +850) I get:

Code:
>  GPU0  56C  95% |  757.4 Sol/s   767.7 Avg   409.0 I/s | 3.08 S/W  253 W |  5.24  100  38 ++
>  GPU1  58C  95% |  771.1 Sol/s   768.2 Avg   411.0 I/s | 3.09 S/W  245 W |  2.99  100  30
>  GPU2  53C  95% |  778.9 Sol/s   782.7 Avg   416.2 I/s | 3.16 S/W  245 W |  4.52  100  26 +
>  GPU3  55C  95% |  777.4 Sol/s   780.0 Avg   416.0 I/s | 3.17 S/W  254 W |  0.75  100  41 +
>  GPU4  60C  95% |  771.0 Sol/s   780.2 Avg   414.4 I/s | 3.13 S/W  255 W |  6.77  100  39
>  GPU5  56C  95% |  780.7 Sol/s   777.1 Avg   413.4 I/s | 3.14 S/W  251 W |  2.57  100  40

Can I ask you what drivers/overclocker are you using mate? got a rig with 2 FTW3 and 4 SC Black and I can't get them past +70 on core/+300 on memory, they get crazy. And btw got them at your same temps :|

Some people are solving it going back to 388 drivers from what I know too...
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: March 13, 2018, 09:20:37 PM

PS : I mined for 1 year with 5 Aorus 1080ti's, and yeah, I sold at 900€ piece, cause those 20$ day with 5 TI's is just.. boring Wink
Each his vision of the ROI thing Smiley

Now, I make 200$ per day with approx same invest (4500$), and you know how you said it before.
Yes, a little more risky, but uncomparable, and I succeed in that since 2 month.
2 months at 6000$ each month..

Good luck mining  Wink

Others invest 5K and get 1M in returns, selling drugs, for example, but I don't see them around fucking around with Ti's so maybe you can try and chat at EliteSmartInvestorstalk.org

470 Sol/s +/- 5% ZEC @150W for 900$ is a big pile of shit imho

Mounted a new rig this week and i was fked up because it was going down every hour more or less. After some testing (risers, cables, power, psu,etc...) i came down to check the basic and pulled off the reset connection at the power jumpers. Running fine for 3 days now Smiley

PS: fekin asrock h81 its shit compared to asus mobos ^^
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ZCASH] [ETH] [XMR] My altcoin experiments on: February 20, 2018, 07:19:16 PM
Ty for sharing mate, I have a similar rig (4x strix + 2x OC ver) and getting 4K Sols at 70%, +100 core 0 mem. Std ones get 640 S/s and oc's 680/700. Will test eth after 28 th Feb and come again to post results
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ZCL Miningpoolhub on: February 19, 2018, 06:47:22 PM
I'm using this and have no problems: miner --server europe.equihash-hub.miningpoolhub.com --user username.workername --pass password --pec --port 20575

Also i discovered with brute force that when ewbf closes instantly is that something is wrong at the config, maybe a dash or something seems ok and it isn't. Try copypasting this one just to try it, or copypaste the one from the help and if it isn't that...then you should look at file rights and stuff I think.

BTW: --pec is to show the efficiency info, nothing important

I was having lots of problems too, always offline and found this on reddit: e1.verge-electrum.com (ssl, port 50003)

works  Smiley
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: The Force is Strong with my Rigs on: February 17, 2018, 12:41:21 PM

Well, it's a loaded question and I'll give a loaded answer.  On the XP's, right now I've got the power levels set to about 80%, with RAM at 6000 and GPU core at 1733Mhz-ish. That gives me roughly 720 - 740 SOL/s. But before you scream rippoff, I have a mini rig with a couple 1080TI's that can do the same with mild tweaks... but the Titans use a lot less energy at 80%. It's around 225 watts. The TI's use 275 - 300 watts to get the same result.  Now, I can get 810 -820 SOL/s on the Titans by upping the power to 110% - 120%, but my consumption jumps to 300 watts and I start to get diminished returns. If I had free power it wouldn't matter and I'd leave it at 820 SOL/s.

My 1080's average 510 -540 SOL/s at 65% - 75% power. Interestingly enough, I have two cheapo MSI reference cards in their own separate rig doing 545 SOL/s, beating all my other EVGA and Gigabyte 1080's, I can't explain it.

Total Hashrate is about 20k with what's in the picture.

Hi mate, i'm a bit new into mining but already got a 6xti rig (strix) and looking for a efficient spot (high cost of energy here) I decided to go for 70% TDP (std clocks) and getting around 620/640 Sols/s @ 170-180W / 55 to 65º C. Just curious of why a more experienced miner as you can go for those results of 550 Sols/s ¿? I mean I understand you're going after effiency too, but your numbers seem a bit too weird compared to mines, and I doubt if i'm doing/calculating something wrong.

I'm also today making OC testings and they seem good, only at the clock level because Mem doesn't matter too much, even at -500, but std mem clock is the better (hash/W). Don't you OC? risky?
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Regarding risers and PSU cables on: January 31, 2018, 06:42:30 AM

which 1080ti do you have?

I thought they all have 2x8pin power connectors?

They are asus strix, they're coming in this morning I hope. If that's the input then I can only connect 4 1080 to that psu, having 8 pcie outputs?
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Regarding risers and PSU cables on: January 31, 2018, 12:03:30 AM
Hi all, i'm building a 6x1080ti rig for the first time and got some panic with all the sata risers stuff to be honest. I've been reading this post and like 1389349539 more but still can't think clearly what should I do, and that's why I ask for some help here, would appreciate it a lot.

As i said, its 6x 1080 ti and I assume will be underpowering them to more or less between 150 and 180W. Got the corsair ax1600i (http://www.corsair.com/en-eu/ax1600i-digital-atx-power-supply-1600-watt-fully-modular-psu-ww) and also my risers have only 6pin power connections.

- Can i use each PSU PCIe connectors to 1GPU + 1 riser, using a split cable (i believe 8pin to 2x 6pin splitter)? Is that safe/capable of providing the gpu+riser the W they need?
- Should i use 1 PCIe to 1 GPU and the other 2 PCIe for 3 risers each?
- Any other better combination/s?
- Not any of what i said...  Huh Huh

Thank you very much in advance

Seguiremos informando...  Grin
