(...)

Also, note the executebles begin with Hex transliteration of "BIOS FOOD".

These are all my findings for now. I was not able to connect to SSH with the private key to any of the users listed on the server, either

I was playing a bit with this and I am afraid it is abandoned. No one is writing about it, I'm also like you not convinced that this 1KWkDsv9VsdwsCWpJ2mu9R5AgUWgSPQHjf is THE address.
What I like is whole terminal stuff. What I don't like is that not all commands work as should. For example you can't pass arguments to functions, ls -a doesn't work. I'm a bit afraid that it is not some sort of shell but simple "paragraph" text input program, you add one space too much or use capital letter and it wont recognize.

So far - dead end. I'm trying to run service.bin somehow.

This one is too programmy to feel like I can do much of anything... Here's a tid bit that may be helpful though: on the CSS for the terminal there is a call for a font "VT232" or courier. Working in graphics and searching the appropriate repositories turns up no such font ever. Perhaps "VT232" is a useful code at some point.

FYI its VT323 and it's here: https://fonts.google.com/specimen/VT323

Note: I wasn't the one to solve this, but I did make significant progress.

I posted around Christmas and because I was unwilling to give away to much information, no one believed that I had made progress on the puzzle. I was actually ridiculed and called schizophrenic, but I was telling the truth. I was legitimately trying to help others make progress. The key was to think like an artist.

Anyway, since there's no information yet about how it was solved, I wrote a blog post about my own progress.  Congratulations to the winner.

Here's the post:

https://yetzirah-games.squarespace.com/blog/2018/2/2/the-legend-of-satoshi-nakamoto-part-overview-long

I think the puzzle is worth exploring even without the financial incentive. It's brilliant, and fun to explore. Maybe my post will help some of you get started.

As much as I have to say that I do not think your theory is correct, I must admire it. I'm having trouble deciphering if it has been done with a hint of sarcasm or if you're genuinely serious. Either way, Well done.  Grin  Grin

I gonna tell you guys and gals REAL hints!

it's called 1FLAMEN6 because... Wait for it...
16 different flames!!!

And I can give out two more secret hints that no one have seen yet but I don't know if the first one is important or not. Let's see who can solve this

The "W hite R abbit" is in the red ribbons

The Phenix and the turtle has "1658" characters

Trinitas got 10% from the prize for these hints so I'm guessing reducing the input to 16 flame types helped

.aur files are for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AutoREALM - maybe a map was embedded in the image?
i tried to google aur files mid-Jan but I was not successful, anyway, as I said many times, I was doubtful to that idea.

You should have come forward with that autorealm idea when I posted that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766000.msg28336592#msg28336592 Cheesy
Now it is definitely too late for any new ideas Cheesy and I hope to hear from the winner soon! If there was a map - we'll know it.

Also, I don't know if she copied this or not but it fits pretty well when overlaid.

I had the idea that either the way the watch was pointing, or the time itself (12:25 or 12:26) was a clue.

You know what you did. But one day you will fall over your leg.

I know you're a liar saying you were on the team. I created this final image with one person. And that person can verify everything. -> https://twitter.com/robmyers He's a brilliant man. We'll release the program we created to make this art piece as well. Trying to pretend you're some sort of "insider" is just absurd. I wouldn't work with someone who makes such idiotic posts. You're a legit moron. Congratulations.

So much win in one day. These trolls have been the most annoying part of this whole thing.

You see, the thing is, you wrote 3 years ago that you created the puzzle with 3 people.

sooo, your word doesnt mean much as of now.

No, if you bothered to read her post she said the final image. There was two parts in this puzzle, the others obviously helped create the parts BEFORE the art.

Congratulations to whoever got it!

Now where's that write up!

As i expected, coin-artist is a big scammer.
she or one of the creators withdrew the prize.

Well, not really, not if the answer that the winner, or Coin Artist posts, holds up.

Let's face it, the authors underestimated difficulty of making a hard & solvable puzzle. Like OnTheMF said once, it's hard to make a puzzle that is complicated&solvable, but easy to make a complicated&unsolvable one. This is the latter case I'm afraid.

Yes, I really think that's the case. It's actually very difficult to design a puzzle that is challenging yet solvable. One has to take great care to ensure the solution is achievable without the benefit of having the solution to begin with. Wink

With mistakes being made in previous puzzles, I think it's clear that the author is not very rigorous in their design. Further, at the time this puzzle was made it was worth a lot less, so there was much less incentive to do it properly. The fact that the prize money was once worth $100K USD is also a good indication that this may be unsolvable. Look at all the crazy solutions to other ARG's that are worth only a couple hundred bucks. You could imagine those solvers, as well as many more would be attracted to the larger prize of this puzzle. Lots of very brilliant people have worked on this and still nobody has even a confirmed first step.

From the authors perspective I'm sure it seems simple, but to those without the benefit of knowing the solution, it might not be solvable. This is basically the definition of hindsight bias.

Sorry, have to disagree here. Just because you guys are salty you’ve spent loads of time on the flames and found nothing doesn’t give you the right to diss the authors here. It will go to the person who is able to solve it, due to their way of thinking.
