As a participant in The Legend of Satoshi Nakamoto from the very beginning in late summer of 2014, I'm absolutely thrilled that someone has finally solved this last piece of the ARG. I learned so much about cryptography and bitcoin during the solving--and made treasured puzzle friends in the process. What a wonderful experience!
So excited to read about the solve!
Congrats to the brilliant creators and solvers!
"As it turned out, the real prize of the TLSN puzzle was the friends we made along the way..." Of course, I'm making a joke here, but I agree with RC 100%. It's bittersweet that the puzzle is finally over after nearly three and a half years. I sort of expected that it would go on for decades without being solved, like a Bitcoin version of the fourth Kryptos panel. But as the prize value skyrocketed along with the price of bitcoin, it was only a matter of time before someone made a breakthrough. For me personally, the puzzle came along just when I began to seriously get involved in Bitcoin, and it served as a catalyst for me to connect with others in the community and learn as much as I could. I feel extremely fortunate that, as the puzzle progressed, I was invited to join a group of expert solvers who also happened to be wonderful people, and who became true friends. It's disappointing that our team did not solve the puzzle. But at the risk of sounding trite, I can honestly say that if given a choice between the prize and the friendships that grew out of working on this puzzle together, without question, I would choose the friendships. For that reason, I want to offer my deep thanks to coin_artist and the rest of the puzzle team, not only for creating an engaging and historic experience, but for providing the venue that brought us together.

Congratulations to the winner and thanks to the puzzle creators! They were amazing times together and thank you! And if it turns out it was a QR code (with orange dummy flames being the missing data that was supposed to be filled in automatically by error correction) with error correction level Q and mask pattern 0 (Q-0 format string starts with 011010) and moreover mask pattern 0 is further confirmed by the black-white board pattern, then I will eat my boots !!! Are there any new puzzles? Is there a thread dedicated to them, maybe a thread listing particular threads dedicated to particular puzzles?

If the morse/the_____isthekeyfile is apart of the solution I'm going to be slightly pissed unless there's a reasonable explanation on how to get to that point besides brute forcing.

no it is not, don't frustrate yourself (I may look really stupid if it is) Let's just wait for the solution guys I wanted to say that if somebody wants to give it a quick try, there is still the BTG for the taking, but I verified that there is none. It had been emptied midnight sharp. Congratulations to the winner!

As the finder of the "iskeyfile" message I will also be salty. But I am quite confident at this point that it was not a real message, just a coincidence.

Are you one of the puzzle authors? what makes you think I may be one? would I say "I will look really stupid if it is" if I were the author? I just think it was a coincidence, as does RealOnTheMF, and that's it. anyway, we'll shortly know this way or the other.

i tried to google aur files mid-Jan but I was not successful, anyway, as I said many times, I was doubtful to that idea. You should have come forward with that autorealm idea when I posted that https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=766000.msg28336592#msg28336592 Now it is definitely too late for any new ideas and I hope to hear from the winner soon! If there was a map - we'll know it.

Also, I don't know if she copied this or not but it fits pretty well when overlaid. https://imgur.com/a/3DluMI had the idea that either the way the watch was pointing, or the time itself (12:25 or 12:26) was a clue.

Note: I wasn't the one to solve this, but I did make significant progress. I posted around Christmas and because I was unwilling to give away to much information, no one believed that I had made progress on the puzzle. I was actually ridiculed and called schizophrenic, but I was telling the truth. I was legitimately trying to help others make progress. The key was to think like an artist. Anyway, since there's no information yet about how it was solved, I wrote a blog post about my own progress. Congratulations to the winner. Here's the post: https://yetzirah-games.squarespace.com/blog/2018/2/2/the-legend-of-satoshi-nakamoto-part-overview-longI think the puzzle is worth exploring even without the financial incentive. It's brilliant, and fun to explore. Maybe my post will help some of you get started.

Even if you don't refer to my post, I want to apologize anyway. Take care man, and I will gladly read your blog entry. EDIT: I did read it, and the amount and momentum of your work is surely impressive. I am not sure I would go the same way, but people are different and that is the beauty of a world we have

I gonna tell you guys and gals REAL hints!
it's called 1FLAMEN6 because... Wait for it... 16 different flames!!!
And I can give out two more secret hints that no one have seen yet but I don't know if the first one is important or not. Let's see who can solve this
The "W hite R abbit" is in the red ribbons
The Phenix and the turtle has "1658" characters
Trinitas got 10% from the prize for these hints so I'm guessing reducing the input to 16 flame types helped

I'm having trouble deciphering if it has been done with a hint of sarcasm or if you're genuinely serious. Either way, Well done.

There's no sarcasm in my post, I assure you. All of the images are real, and this isn't a hoax. The whole endeavor could very well be a red herring for a much more straightforward solution, but there were real images in there, and they told a story.
I hope we find out what the final answer is soon, though. I'm steeling myself to find out that one of my images was close and that I turned down another path too soon. I really hope not, but I'm happy with what I did.

Looks like it will be next week before we get the solution: https://twitter.com/DMOberhaus/status/959430798930776064
: @DMOberhaus:
Currently speaking with the person who solved it, and their solution was pretty genius. The write-up will be published early next week. Congratulations to YuTü.Co.in (or whoever it was)!
