Yes people might sell their merit points but with time situation will get better. The merit points will get scarce with time and will be in hands of higher level members who will not risk their account credibility for earning few bucks by selling these merits.
Basically, the new system is designed in a way that will keep getting better on its own. Also, some of the members also got negative trust based on suspicion for merit farming. So, the higher ranks members are already doing their best.
I will like to quote your post just so that it might get notice by new members that are reading this thread, you seem to answer most of the concerns that are being posted by users below you. I think this is one of the reason why the merit system was created in the first place, people are not reading previous posts, they just seem to answer questions that are being posted by the OP and not interact with posts that are being posted before them. I'm just new here but I've notice this happening in a lot of threads. |

Merit is a new system where older users can withhold merit from younger users so they can't rank up and earn all the bounties!
I don't think so, just look at this thread, a lot of higher rank members are already giving merits to lower rank members. This new method is not about hoarding bounties, this is about preserving the quality of the forum. There are a lot of forums in the internet that are already using the merit system in terms of likes and upvotes and so far it's been helping improve the quality of their forums. |

The intention, to eliminate the tension. Stopping shitty posts and spamming posts from the newbie community. Attention, is it not like giving us a detention. Instead of making progress we are given a cross section. I'm not saying its not right, I'm not saying it's not wrong. What I am saying is our growth will be a bit hindered and slowed. Change, is it relevant? Merits are they relevant? One thing is for sure we will be seeing more of newbies, posting here and there trying to earn more of a little merit. The intention, to eliminate the tension.

This is gonna kill the forum if it stays that way .
People will post less which will make the board less attractive for project devs .
Since it will be harder to move up in rank ,there will be less people with avatars and flashy sigs (the higher your ank is ,the more visible your signature is_ .All in all ,same issue ,project devs won't find as much interest in this board .
The huge number of members and posts is the most important thing for this place .
I don't think so, this move is actually good for the forum, now the bitcoin discussion thread will be filled with people talking about the development of bitcoin and what's currently happening with it, not filled with threads talking about nonsense stuffs. When I signed up on here I thought I'll learn and be updated on what's currently happening with segwit and the new lightning network but when I browse around the bitcoin discussion thread all I see are posts not even related to what's currently happening, which is unfortunate knowing that this used to be the forum where satoshi created bitcoin. If people will post less then that's their problem, this will always be the place for announcement threads so I don't think your argument regarding project devs not finding this forum attractive enough for advertisement is valid. This is the place where cryptocurrency started so project devs will always find this board interesting. You're wrong about that as well, quality post is the most important thing about this place and for any forum in the world wide web. |

The block chain to enter the electronic commerce I think it is not time, because the block chain technology transaction speed can not reach the second level processing requirements. The future of Cyber Miles needs a deep question mark  If you actually read the whitepaper you'll notice that the devs talked about this, I think they are offering something that will make transaction speed as fast as possible, there's a whole section that gives further details about this on their whitepaper so I think you should read that so you'll realize that with this project, transaction speed will not be a problem. I think the entire e-commerce industry is very outdated and it needs a project as big as this to be implemented, that's why I really believe that the future of cyrbermiles is very bright. It's just unfortunate that right now this coin is still so undervalued. I also agree on what some people posted regarding the website, it's not attractive enough and it's not well put together, the devs really need to improve this if they want to reach more investors. |

I have very few tokens which I simply have plans for long term holding. Cindicator's prediction app has shown very accurate results for previous predictions and platform still is underdevelopment.GO CND GO  Yeah, you're right about that man, the prediction app is doing very well. I've been using the app for weeks now and it actually help me acquire some really big gains. There is not a day when I don't check the cindicator app, there are a lot of really good analyst on there that can be a big help for every cryptocurrency holder. I honestly see such a big future for cindicator, the current price is way too low for its actual value, this coin deserves to pump way more. I believe that when the development will be completed, we can really see some big changes on the market's price. |
