1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum? on: February 16, 2018, 01:47:27 PM
Bitcoin is still safer than Ethereum. But it is true that Bitcoin fees are high and sometimes network congestion takes  week.
In crypto market Bitcoin is very popular , but Ethereum has very potential. Now Bitcoin price is low but in future Bitcoin is like gold.

3  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What phone apps do you use? on: February 14, 2018, 11:17:26 AM
Electoneum is bringing out a mobile miner so i might give that a go when it is live.

Otherwise i use Ethereum wallet by freewallet. Its good as a mobile wallet.

5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best altcoin to mine? on: February 14, 2018, 09:36:48 AM
In alot of places now it's not very profitable. But electoneum is working on a mobile miner.. but I have no idea how that would work ot if it would just ruin your phone
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: February 14, 2018, 09:34:35 AM
It can be very addictive i think. I sometimes find my self doing it for some hours. Whether its here on the forum or on other news sites or exchanges.

From what i understood this is the tread where we can make suggestions (if not then please move or delete this post)

Hi all,

I would like to suggest that when people reply to your topic or quote your comment you get a notification so you can see it.
Somewhere between Profile and My Messages there could be an option that says notifications.

When this is pressed it opens a page where you can see all the reply's/comments and if you have had enough of notifications from a specific post you can simply press mute. (which would obviously stop notifications from coming through from that topic).

I would like to hear what you have to say about this.

(English is not my strong point, sorry)
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / What is Tether and why is it so stable? on: February 13, 2018, 03:57:40 PM

9  Other / Meta / Just Checking (merit) on: February 10, 2018, 03:01:44 PM
Hi all!

Quick question.
For me to move up a rank will i need 10 merit AND 30 activity or is just 30 activity enough?

Thanks for your answers. Smiley
10  Other / Meta / Re: Pros and cons about merit on: February 01, 2018, 04:45:27 PM
Yes it reduces spammers but it is also good in the fact that people need to work harder and they will feel good when they get rewarded.
Not every newbie is new to crypto. Some people have been in it for some time and have only made a Bitcointalk profile recently.
If you simply post stuff that would be valuable to other people then the merit will come in.
Its best if you just don.t worry about it and carry on normally.
11  Other / Meta / Re: Begging for merit on: February 01, 2018, 11:28:21 AM
I 100% agree. It is something that should not be done.
If people are positive and helpful the merit will come naturally.
It is not something to worry about.
12  Other / Meta / Re: How to get merit points ? on: February 01, 2018, 11:11:24 AM
Just post good information on this Forum. Really you dont need to worry about.
If you post quality stuff related to the post and others find it useful then it will come naturally.
Best advice is be yourself (unless you can be batman Wink )
13  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Electoneum Mobile Miner on: January 30, 2018, 08:58:01 AM
Hi all!

Quick question. Does anyone know when the mobile miner will be up for electoneum? I want to try it only out of pure curiosity and not to gain any money. Every time i try to log in it says the miner is currently offline.

Many thanks!
14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's that are worth it? on: January 29, 2018, 01:18:33 PM
Check out the Tradove as it has a strong team behind the project and reliable advisers for example Richard Rosenberg which is the former Chairman & CEO of bank of America, they also have lots of partnership and running a succesful pre-sale.

I will be sure to. thanks
15  Other / Meta / Re: Since bitcointalk is free to use, why the hate towards this new merit system? on: January 27, 2018, 05:32:16 PM
Due to bounty campaigns people were just spamming posts. Since now they are required to post better posts in order to acquire merits (more work) i think people dont like this idea. But it will 100% help the forum improve its content.
16  Other / Meta / Re: The reality is 99.9% members can never rank up with the new merit system. on: January 27, 2018, 05:23:32 PM
Of course they can. Sure it might take work, but that's good. Good thing are worth waiting for. If you are positive in the community and post useful information then you will most likely be honored. If you don't rank up then maybe you don't deserve to. A good self evaluation might help you.
17  Other / Meta / Re: NEWBIE FOREVER? on: January 27, 2018, 05:08:57 PM
As a newbie we will not get any "free" merit. Your activity goes up by 14 on a 2 week basis. So you need to post minimum 14 posts in 2 weeks. About 1 a day. Then your activity will increase and if your post are good you will awarded merit by other people. You will need 10 to rank up. Just be yourself and it will come. Don't worry about it.
18  Other / Meta / Re: Forget about merit! Let's just post normally on: January 27, 2018, 04:33:41 PM
Just post normally is the right thing to do. It can be obvious when people try to hard. Just give it your best and you will be rewarded.  Smiley
19  Other / Meta / Re: Members screwed by Merit, sign here for fix. on: January 27, 2018, 04:24:02 PM
From what i understand you will receive merit according to the minimum requirement of your rank. In your case 500. You have already received 500 merit.
In my case 0 so i will have to start from scratch. I don't think anyone has been screwed over. It actually helps in my opinion.

Great attitude son. You get a couple of fun tokens

Thank you ^_^
